Wall Street stay

The room was comfortable, and the hotel was near the Brooklyn Bridge and Seaport, with fun restaurants nearby. The staff was friendly and made us feel welcome. From our 24th-floor room, we had a partial view of the East River. The gym was well-equipped and available 24/7. I liked the second-floor lounge and hung out there early so my partner could sleep in.

I wish that the hotel had a microwave in the rooms or lobby. It was a half mile to the nearest subway station, and breakfast cost $30. Also, room service was so late that we skipped it.

Great location, but try to take cold showers only

Location and staff were great! We walked all around the area and had no complaints. There's a Starbucks around the corner and the staff were very helpful!

Hand soap was horrible. It was motel quality. The exhaust fan in the bathroom did not work, making the entire room stuffy and unbearable after a hot shower. Really wish they had that working.

The location was amazing, the room exceeded my expectations with a great view and a modern feel.

It was ok cleaning of shower could’ve been better , && comforting of bed

Staff was nice

Shower was not cleaned well shower floor was stained and felt uncomfortable to even shower bare foot . Bed was a bit uncomfortable and hard .

Great modern, clean hotel with plenty of amenities.

Location to Seaport was great. Clean modern hotel.

A little expensive for one night, but I understand it is what the market demands at that time.

I have to say it is the worst experience in my life

Staff were helpful and friendly. Rooms were excellent!

Very clean and amazing staff! I book 2 rooms they managed to keep them both on the same floor level plus both room had great views of the city and ocean view! Definitely will be coming here again!

Everything was good just wish they had a microwave.

Great location for short stays only

The location is absolutely amazing with fanatstic views across the river and the the Lower Manhattan skyline. Perfectly located to do your exploration either by foot (Financial District and The World Trade Centre Memorial, boat (Governors Island, take the free STATEN ISLAND FERRY to see Statue of Liberty from the boat) or subway (all the usual tourist attractions Grand Central, Empire State Bld, Central Park etc).

The pictures of rooms are misleading. The room is much smaller and so are the beds. We booked the second room to fit 3 people but it was suitable for 2. The hotel must not employ enough cleaning staff who despite their great effort to keep it clean (it was clean!), kept forgetting to leave fresh towels, replace coffee, etc. This was on daily bases and meant we had to ask every day for these items to be delivered. Despite, making numerous promises to upgrade and then extend the late check out nothing came out of it. There is also a lot of building work around the hotel with poor soundproofing might not be suitable for those who want a bit of a respite afater a busy and hectic day of sightseeing. It is ok to stay for a night or 2 but we were there 6 and I think it really wasn't suitable. It is a real shame as I associated the brand with much higher quality and standard than I found on this occassion.

The staff was amazing. Everyone was extremely helpful, they went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable. The staff made our stay remarkable, our entire family enjoyed our stay at AC Hotel by Marriott New York Downtown. We are planning our next New York trip, we will stay here.

Location/views, comfort & cleanliness were appreciated.

Our rain shower head did not work at all. Unable to turn it on. Two little shower gel containers provided, were not sufficient for two adults. Also, ran out of tissues rather quickly.

Very clean. Staff was very nice and attentive. Great view!

Breakfast was extremely poor - reason for which I decided not to have it at all. I would recommend looking somewhere else for breakfast.

Schönes, komfortables Hotel in guter Lage für einen Kurztrip nach NYC!

Gute Lage in der Nähe von U-Bahn, Fähre nach Brooklyn und Staten Island Ferry. Fußläufig zum World-Trade-Center und direkt am Pier 17 mit schönem Blick aufs Wasser (wenn man Flussblick gebucht hat). Frühstück im Hotel hatten wir nicht gebucht, da vorm Hotel gute Delis sind, in welchem man super Sandwiches etc bekommt, für weniger als 23 Dollar (Frühstückspreis im Hotel). Empfehlen können wir absolut "The Best of New York Food", fast neben dem Hotel in der Water Street, die haben sogar 24 h geöffnet, super Futter!!! Die Betten im Hotel sind super bequem. Wir würden wiederkommen!

Eventuell fehlen im Badezimmer ein paar Möglichkeiten, Handtücher aufzuhängen und eine Lüftung, um die Feuchtigkeit abzutransportieren.

Best sleep with a phenomenal view!

This hotel offers breathtaking views on the Hudson River and financial district. Our flight got cancelled so we had a chance to spend two nights in different rooms. Both (two queen-sized beds and one king-sized bed) were clean and aesthetic. Beds are PHENOMENAL!!! I had the best sleep in my life!:) the two-bed-room was more spacious (especially the bathroom) but both rooms are very very beautiful! Hotel staff is very friendly and helpful, we were able to leave our luggage in the luggage room, which is always nice! Thanks for a great stay!

Bathroom sinks need a bit more attention from the staff, ours were stained a bit.

The view is nice, but the AC united sucks

I love how close we were to the water and Dumbo park to see a view of the statue of liberty.

The AC did not work, we woke up in thr middle of the night and call down stairs and the front rep told us "to turn the heater on and then turn on the AC and wait 40 to 50 mins to kick in". For the hotel called AC Hotel, the AC suck. It was bad that we did not get enough sleep due to it being hot in the room.

The location was ideal.

Wish they’d had a restaurant on site but the did allow you to order delivery. I didn’t like that I couldn’t earn my Marriott points because I booked through booking.com and not directly with the hotel.

Incredible friendly and confortable experience

A big thank you for the amazing staff at AC Hotel. We asked if possible for a room at a higher level, because it was our son's dream to have an amazing view on his birthday. We received one at the top floor, with breathtaking view over the Hudson River and city.

good place & very nice stuff

Good location. Nice facilities when you need to wait for checkin or afte check out - on the second floor library and restroom and leasure place and computer. Helpful and nice stuff in the reception. Storage of the luggages available for free. Small shop with drinks and snacks near the receptiondesk. Internet available in the whole object even after checkout. Every day fresh towels and bottle of water and coffee.

The location was very convenient for both my obligations in lower Manhattan and Brooklyn. The room was comfortable and very well served with USB ports. The gym was also nice. I liked the lounge where one could bring in a nice take out lunch and sit and talk. Later in the evening it was a nice place for a drink. Staff were extremely helpful. I did not have breakfast at the hotel so I can’t report on it
