Great location right in the city, a few minutes walk from Victoria Stationn perfect for a couples or girlie weekend away. Definitely recommend and go again.

The women on the front desk were wonderful, however I was disappointed with the room as the air conditioning wasn’t working and it was so so hot and under floor heating was on far too high. Comfy bed but wouldn’t stay again

Fabulous hotel. Very clean and well maintained. Reception very friendly and helpful. Room excellent and has everything you need. Very central location and the free coffee and croissants in the morning a nice touch. Would have given it 5 stars all round EXCEPT the mattress was just too hard. We both found it uncomfortable which is a shame as we would love to go back but the mattress lets it down

Very nice location, you can’t beat it. The building is very beautiful too. The room is comfortable and quite clean but it was freezing. They ended up giving me another room, which was very nice of them but I was lucky it wasn’t fully booked. Breakfast is just a croissant and a tea or coffee but I knew it beforehand and you have a kitchen to do your breakfast. So all in all a good stay.

Our stay was wonderful, the hotel is beautiful and the location is perfect , central for everything, we went to the AO to see peter Kay, this is with in walking distance from the hotel. Car parking is easy in the multi storey about 5 mins walk from the hotel.

It was a lovely property with good sized rooms and bathrooms. We booked the Liberty Suite that has a fully equipped kitchen. The tram was just outside the door and it was a 3 minute walk to Victoria Station and 10-15 minutes to local bars and restaurants. It was adjacent to an atrium with many restaurants. The hotel provided free coffee/tea and croissants for breakfast. Recommend.

Though there is a lift, I need to pass through a corridor with 8 stair steps. It is challenging for a woman with heavy lugguage. Other than this, I like the hotel. Especially the small kitchen corner.

I would highly recommend this hotel and would stay here again, my only slight criticism would be the air con, it wasn't very powerful, when it was 26c outside and 24c in our room with the AC on it was very comfortable to try and sleep.

There are 2 wonderful things about this hotel: the adorable staff and the fantastic location. I received a very warm and friendly welcome even though I checked in at 2am. The next morning, Elizabet spent so much time talking with my elderly mother and making her feel cared about and special. The hotel was a 3-minute walk from the train station and 50 steps from a huge mall. Free coffee and hot chocolate was available all day. There is a glorious huge covered area for dining and drinking so you don't even need to step outside the hotel. My room was clean and had a well equipped kitchenette with a good-sized fridge, dishwasher, large TV. I really loved this hotel and will definitely stay again.

Welcome was friendly and as we were early the team were able to secure our bags whilst we awaited our room to become available. The interior is great and has held many of the decorative features from the original building. Even though situated in a busy area our room on the first floor was quiet and we did not get any disturbance from outside. The room was clean and the small kitchenette area had everything we could have wanted if we were staying longer than out 3 days. The only issue we had is that the air condition only activates with the room key being in a slot and that means if the sun had been on the room all day when you return it was extremely hot with no way to open the windows. I am glad to say the front desk had a fan that we were able to use during our stay. My partner and myself would happily stay there again for a short or longer break in Manchester.

Fabulous old building renovated to modern hotel.. walk in off busy hub of town next to Harvey nics, selfridges, the old shambles pubs..into hotel that also accesses the glass dome covered old corn exchange that is now a huge selection of restaurants under the dome…. Room super quiet considering the bustle and lively nightlife outside on a warm day.

I requested a quiet room as I was a solo female traveller and they put me next to a group of young lads who were obviously out drinking and made so much noise throughout the night, also I found body hair on the bed sheets that clearly belonged to the previous resident. One other point is that the receptionist was not mindful that I was a solo female traveller and blurted out my room number loud enough for the guys in the queue to know which room I was in.

We stayed a couple of nights here, the front desk staff were very welcoming and helpful, the room was exceptionally clean and very modern, there was everything we needed all in a spacious space with a great view of the corn exchange outside. The only thing we weren't keen on was the glass frosted door on the bathroom but thats just personal preference....

Nice central location. Would stay again - only 2 negatives due to the shape of the building some rooms are a bit of a walk from reception. /and the bed is surrounded by 3 sides so one of you has to crawl across the bed.

Very old TV’s - smart functions don’t work. Water pressure terrible - impossible to have a shower. For a suite it was uncomfortable to relax in, the sofa was very uncomfortable and the bed even worse

Great location with everything to hand that you will want. Lovely period building sympathetically restored to a great standard keeping many period features. Will definitely be staying here again in the future. Really impressed.
