Good breakfast but healthier vegetarian options would be appreciated
Mix up at check in meant we had to wait quite a while to get into our room after our long journey. Staff were very friendly and helpful in fixing the problem

The room was very cold, but the manager was very polite in giving an additional blanket.

Room was very nice. Staff were amazing. One of the lifts were out of order. The bed was a little hard for me and my wife and the room was far too cold. I played around with the air-conditioning for awhile but couldn’t get it to warm the room up anymore. The next morning it was too cold in the bathroom to get a shower. The breakfast was very good and we checked in and checked out without any complications.

The staff were friendly and helpful & knowledgeable as far as restaurants locally
There was a definite lack of Hanging space and areas to put clothing especially as there was two of us staying for two nights with four changes of clothing with Jackets trousers etc and there was clearly lots of available spaces where shelves could easily have been located and I have seen shelving with hooks to hold coat hangers that could easily be fixed to wall space just inside the door
the prices need updating for the carpark i was quoted £8.50 but it was £9.50 per day it was also impossible to calibrate the parking machine for the two days we were there i had to return to the carpark to add an extra 24 hours at the exact time on the second day

Easy walk in to piccadilly and the arndale centre.
Accommodation was dusty, dirty remotes, mould in shower felt like room hadn't been used in a while and just clean sheets popped on before stay. Wife even had to check for bed mites it felt that unclean. Two towels in room for 4 people, called reception for house keeping to bring 2 more. 50 mins later still didn't turn up. But had to get the kids sorted before we would miss breakfast. A deserved 3/10. Wouldnt recommend. The breakfast was the best part and that in itself was limited.
First time I've ever felt I should leave a negative review but it really spoilt our stay in Manchester.

Staff were really friendly and professional and made us feel really welcome and looked after.
The rooms weren't very clean and they were basic... Didnt think the location was very clear... we went to the wrong holiday inn express thinking we had booked near to Piccadily.

Great breakfast and selection of hot+cold options available. Staff were very nice on approach. Good location from train station.
Too noisy I wear earplugs and could still hear people walking along the corridors and in next room.
Also should be a plug beside both beds. Don’t like that the glass panel on bathroom door I prefer full door for privacy.

It was very clean and staff very friendly and helpful. Felt secure with someone checking people in on the entrance above reception
Nothing to be honest

Lovely staff and great location
I’ve stayed at this hotel multiple times, usually it’s great and no issues. the room was filthy, the bed was so uncomfortable, there were no light bulbs in the lamp. The ceiling likes were flickering so couldn’t have them on either.

Staff
Very Expensive for what is a very very basic budget room. Tea and coffee was not replenished despite over multi-night stay - really at GB£180 per night? Little things unchecked - eg shampoo bottle in shower empty.
Basic Basic Basic and at GB£180 per night extremely poor value compared to other hotels in area. Travelled to event - all other attending had much better rooms and much less expnsive price

nice rooms with spacious shower rooms easy to get too and good views from the windows of the room

location & location to the car park. Also the discount on the car park.
lifts were slow, the room was very noisy from the street ( double glazing or thicker glass needed )

Location
When we got to the hotel the price you quoted wasn’t the price we paid. The room had no kettle in after asking on three separate occasions there was still no kettle. The room was full of stains not only on the carpet but on the bedding itself. It’s not what I would expect from a room.
9.0
location, cleanliness, comfortability, great breakfast
the system was down when we arrived; can’t be helped but at first we were slightly worried we might have nowhere to stay. It was resolved quickly.
