Fabulous location, lovely luxury feel, and even got the bonus of seeing Ryan Giggs!

It was all lovely, the restaurant wasn’t open which was a shame, but I get it for a Monday and Tuesday night.

The Heart of Manchester

The Stock Exchange is a beautiful hidden gem in the heart of Manchester. It's modern but still manages to pay homage to its history.which can be seen throughout the whole of the hotel The accommodation is spacious,luxurious, and well equipped with all of your needs, including some luxuries.. The staff are warm and welcoming whilst maintaining high standards throughout our entire stay. The night staff supported my individual needs, and nothing was too much trouble. We dined at the Tender restaurant in the hotel . Whilst dining, we listened to live violinists. The food was delicious. Afterwards, we retired to the bar lounge, where we finished our evening with a few drinks. We definitely we be staying again.

I would definitely stay again. Please sort the key card issues on 1st floor

Location is great, beautiful building and comfortable rooms

Issues with card getting into the bedroom corridor meant every time I went out, I had to go up and down to reception to get the key card reprogrammed. At no point did any member of staff offer to come up with me to ensure I got in when we arrived back after being at a concert late in the evening, I had to run up and down 3 times!!

Amazing Hotel, Exptional

The whole experience from start to finish was amazing. The staff were so accommodating. The decor is stunning and the hotel location is easy access for nights out. Would absolutely recommend to anyone staying in Manchester this is the place to stay.

Another very nice stay at the SE.

Comfort, friendliness/helpfulness of the staff. Champagne on arrival. The dining/breakfasting room is spectacular.

Breakfast was a little slow to arrive, waiter forgot part of my partner's order. Some of the design choices were a bit too somber (too much dark brown marble)

Usually wonderful, fell short this time

Staff are very nice and efficient Room was very comfortable and clean Super quiet, you can’t hear anything happening around you

Sadly the TV did not work, and nobody came to look at it for me, so I watched TV on my iphone which felt a bit disappointing and uncomfortable

Beautiful hotel - simply stunning but the warm welcome is even better!

Staff were exceptional - couldn't do enough to help you from the moment we checked in and were greeted with a welcome drink. Room was stunning and i really liked the look and feel of the design. Lots of nice little touches and the location of the hotel is perfect for exploring all Manchester city centre has to offer. Also minutes from the trams and train station so perfect base to explore. Both the bar off the restaurant and the basesment snug were great fun with different drinks. As you can tell I really enjoyed our two days here - I actually have wanted to stay at Stock Exchange for a while and after attending Gary Nevilles Q&A with the Chamber of Commerce was excited to see it all in person. To think this was bought in basically 24 hours it shows a snap decision can be best!

Bar times for the snug were relatively short but i believe are longer at the weekend. We did manage to enjoy a drink there as we arrived not long before final orders.

Couples Night away.

The front of house staff and waiting staff were exceptionally friendly - they were extremely polite and friendly. The room was beautifully decorated and had everything that is needed for a night away. The whole hotel was immaculately kept and smelt wonderful - it felt like we were in a spa!

The food service in the evening was slightly slow considering we were the only ones eating. Although staff were apologetic.

Nice, cosy and good!

The hotel is properly placed in a silent street, which is not more then 200 meters away from activities like shops, restaurants and other leisure places. Hotel has a truly professional and hospital personnel, who wished to do their best to ensure your perfect stay. From my side, I would highly thank Concierge team, which is always in time and knows everything.

Hotel's restaurant could have had a bigger menu (this is not about breakfast) for drinks and food, while they are not obliged to, since around you can find different types of other places.

Amazing stay !!

Amazing service, Kathryn was extremely knowledgeable about the hotel and answered to all my questions about the hotel’s history! Alexander was a great help to introduce to us the city and what are the good restaurants to go :) We had some words in French from Nigel. For breakfast, I cannot remember their name but the people taking of us were great!! I remember a lady giving us great advise of where to go in Lake District (our next stop after your hotel). BIG THANKS TO THE ENTIRE !!

No toilet brush in guest room/common toilets ground floor..

historic building with morden design.

The location is great, the reception area is good, and it's nice to stay in a historic building with good interior design.

However, we waited a long time for check-in. The room is a bit small compared to the price we paid.

Absolutely fabulous hotel! Million stars. Can’t wait to stay again!

The staff were AMAZING!!! Champagne welcome drink on arrival. A private tour of the history of the hotel by the best concierge we’ve ever met! (Paul)!!!! The staff literally couldn’t have been more helpful or nicer. So thank you!!!! Perfect location of restaurants, shopping and train station!!! Bed was super comfortable!

Location was good and the concierge was great the front of the house. the hotel is also very clean and well presented.

The hotel has limited amenities, no gym, spa or pool, they charged a £40 parking charge without disclosing this to me, very bad form! For the money you pay for this hotel I'd expect more, there are better hotels for less or the same money in Mancheter. There is also an £8 charge for room service which is utterly unacceptable.

Lovely hotel but the staff are the ones who make this place stand out.

The style of this hotel is stunning. The original details throughout with 30’s styling make for a real in of a kind feel. The location is perfect for exploring the city. The staff are all outstanding and cannot do enough to help. We stayed in a standard room but it was still quirky and interesting and more than ample space for a short stay. Spotless throughout. Will be back without hesitation.

Only that we hadn’t stayed longer.

Gorgeous building, but there is better in Manchester for the price.

Beautiful building. Warm welcome. Staff were friendly & attentive. The room was lovely, but given the price tag, it doesn't stand up as well as some of the other high-end hotels in Manchester (Great John St, Gotham, The Kimpton etc)

We stayed in a 3rd floor room, in the original part of the building, which presumably isn't as well insulated as the newer build parts, as the noise volume from the street outside was awful. We were woken several times overnight by drunk people shouting & singing outside, and then at 7am by the bins being emptied on the street below our room. No restaurant on site is disappointing.

If you want luxury, look elsewhere!!

The hotel was very clean, the staff seemed welcoming on arrival.

The pillows and bed were very uncomfortable, even asked for softer pillows and not much better Our room was very noisy, internal and external, the air con was very loud almost like a tap running We were asked if we wanted turn down service, which we said yes and it was never done so had to go and request it again at reception. The temperature on the heating seemed to go up by itself . We set it at 19.5 and woke up with it on 28 degrees in the middle of the night. Every time we made a request on the telephone, they seemed to understand but then kept bringing the wrong things. We asked for empty teapot and then was nearly charged for a pot of tea and milk because that’s what they brought…

The original room was so unpleasant to smell, horrendous damp, like it hadn't been aired and requested a change which was better but an additional charge. By no stretch of the imagination was this hotel as listed 5 star ! barely a 3

Fabulous stay in a stunning hotel. Absolutely gorgeous building

The property is absolutely stunning. In a central location but very quiet. Staff were fabulous and we loved the personalised check in and glass of champagne on arrival. Breakfast was lovely and restaurant staff really lovely too. A big thank you to concierge Deepak for his help booking things for us. Goes without saying the room/ bathroom were beautiful

Lovely city break for a birthday weekend away

The location was great, right in the middle of the city. The staff were so welcoming and gave us a glass of champagne on arrival. The room was immaculately clean and beautifully decorated.

Would have been lovely if the items in the mini bar were complimentary also.
