A homely residence which is quiet, managed by professional staff, 10 to 15 minutes walk to the UNON.

The staff are very professional and understanding, readily available when needed. The Manager is very flexible though still mindful of the core business aim. Due to flight rescheduling, i checked in one day after and checked out one day before but we discussed and reached an agreement. I still have my one night free, valid for 1 year.

The bed is a bit hard, comfortable though but i think the spring mattress needs to be changed to something smoother. The internet access is only in the bed room. For clients, i think internet access should be made available any where within the premises. The breakfast options are limited and prepared only when you come to the restaurant, hence may affect strict timing especially if you are rushing to office.

It was as described, staff were nice and friendly, and value for money was great.

the kitchen closes around 18:00 or 19:00 which gives less option for having a dinner or a drink.

Great staff!!

The staff were fantastic!! Always ready to assist. The property also allowed me to check in early and check out late. That to me was important…:)

There were mosquitoes in the room and since it had no air conditioning, it was a bit warm and therefore blankets cannot be used. Maybe provide at least a fan in the rooms?

Great value and a friendly atmosphere

Food was great. The staff very friendly. Great place for kids with back lawn.

I didn't want my room serviced everyday and I didn't want my towels changed out unless they were on the floor. These are environmental options that I think people appreciate. Also, if the menu had pictures, I think it would be helpful.

The amenities of the rooms are functional but a bit old. The cleaners can pay more attention to clean up the hidden spaces more, such as behind the toilet seat, the window grills, etc.

Highly recommend!

A wonderful guesthouse in an excellent location. Friendly staff, large bed, hot water, fast WiFi, cool cafe, and delicious Chinese restaurant on site. In a very safe part of Nairobi just 2 minutes walk from the Village Market mall. Highly recommend!

Maravilloso personal y servicio. Muy atentos y dispuestos a ayudar con cualquier cosa. Tiene restaurante y café allí mismo. Muy cercano a Naciones Unidas. Zona tranquila y segura, con el centro comercial Village Market muy cercano.

Mi cuarto (individual) era muy pequeño, oscuro y húmedo, sin espacio para colocar la ropa, la cual tuve que dejar dentro de las maletas. Tampoco habia cortina para tapar la pequeña ventana durante la noche.

Perfect place for coffee lovers.

They serve speciality coffee and you can enjoy it with voucher that they give us. The Chinese restaurant at the same place was good, especially dumpling. The room we stayed was so clean and organized. I impressed a barista, his professional work and passion for good coffee.

I had the pleasure of staying at DB SPACE recently, and I must say it exceeded all my expectations. The bed was incredibly comfortable, ensuring a restful night's sleep. it's a guesthouse, but it's actually a hidden gem café! Their coffee is incredibly delicious, and it's my favorite flavor. I highly recommend trying their breakfast and definitely don't miss out on their coffee

Staying at DB SPACE was quite an unexpected experience for us. We joined their parties and events, haha! It's not just a simple guesthouse; it's an artistic space for young people to connect (haha, I even met someone going to Amboseli together). I recommend everyone to stay here, especially if you're looking for a social place to connect, learn about Africa, or get to know Nairobi. And yes, the rooms are also great (decorated homely). It would be even better if the breakfast could start a bit earlier at 7 am! Also, I think providing disposable toothbrushes and utensils on request might be more eco-friendly 😂.

The room was clean and tidy, and the best part was its excellent location. It's just a 3-minute walk to the US Embassy, United Nations, and large shopping malls. Unfortunately, I missed their party, what a pity.

Misleading information

Location, access, bathroom.

The advert is completely misleading. There is no kitchen and no coffee machine. Nor was there any breakfast as promised. The room is in a house which may have these facilities. The Internet went down so I could not book my Uber. When I complained about the misleading information, I was told that coffee was available at 10am! Later I was told that they would make breakfast after all. The room is a good size, but the bed is painfully hard. The price is the redeeming factor.

Location

First there was no water, send no towels (no need when there is no water I suppose) and there was no breakfast (they said “maybe you can find something at the restaurant after 11 am”). And now after all that they just send me a message accusing me that we stole 2 pillows for 30$?! I booked that place because of the good reviews but after been there, I quite sure they are fake. I am making bookings with booking.com for many years all around the world and I never had that bad of experience!

Excellent stay, excellent coffee!

DB SPACE serves up some mind-blowing coffee! The baristas work their magic, and every cup is a puredelight. The ambiance is so chill, making it the perfect spot to unwind and get some work done. And dude, their Wi-Fi is blazing fast! Working here is a breeze. Plus,it's in a prime location with a village market nearby and easy access to transportation. It's the ultimate accommodation choice! Can't wait to come back next time!

A perfect place to stay while in Gigiri and an excellent value for money!

Staff especially Daniel are extremely professional and efficient. Location is lovely and quiet and green. The restaurant offers delish Chinese/Asian food!

Some essential equipment like flat iron and bottled drinking water were unavailable.

Comfortable, warm and very homey.

The location was super convenient for all my meetings in the Gigiri and Westlands area and it is nice and quiet, tucked away from the Nairobi bustle but still very accessible and minutes away from any major spots and malls. The food is 🔥. Huan argued it’s the best Chinese restaurant and he is right on the money!!!!

it's like I paid for a Honda but got a Tesla

This is my first time leaving a review on Booking.com, and let me tell you, this place is the real deal! It exceeded all my expectations: the environment was top-notch, the room was cozy and comfortable, and to top it off, there was a handsome dude as the manager who provided amazing service. I seriously think this place should be worth more, and I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a bang for their buck!

If they could provide a disposable toothbrush, that would be even better
