The property is very conveniently situated for the University and Kelvingrove. The nearby high street has plenty of places to eat. The temple around the corner on Berkeley street provides an excellent car parking facility which you will definitely need if you drive to the city. The staff were friendly and helpful. They were really helpful at breakfast providing gluten and dairy free alternatives
There was a lack of surfaces in the bathroom. A bar near reception would have enhanced the experience but that said there are some great pubs nearby.

Very good location near Kelvingrove pk. Staff were helpful.
Scaffolding was up and the window couldn’t be locked. Glass panes very grubby. Curtains did not block out light.

The breakfast was great!
The furnishings were tired and chipped and needed upgrading.
5.0
De kamer en de ligging van het hotel. Ook de service van het hotel was uitstekend. Het bed was heel goed. De locatie was prettig in de buurt van vele restaurantjes.
De douche had een lastige straal. Was lastig te hanteren qua bediening.
4.5
Good location, very clean and exceptionally helpful friendly staff
A bit basic. But good value for money.
2.5
Location, particularly close walk to the Hydro
- rips in bedsheets
- very small double bed
- one towel per person
- could’ve been cleaner
4.5
The hotel is a 5-minute walk from the Kelvingrove Art Gallery and Museum, and you can reach the city center in less than 10 minutes by public transport. Clean hotel, equipped with everything necessary for tourists' rest. The staff responded very promptly to our requests, and the breakfast was exceptional for the price paid.
Nothing to complain about...

Property was nice and clean and in a great location. Staff were very friendly.
Room was located next to bathrooms and breakfast room and this was quite noisy. Could also hear every movement from upstairs as well. But this would not necessarily put me off booking again and I liked the hotel overall.

very cheap sausages , but other wise fine
3.5
Location is perfect, plenty of bars, coffee shops and not too far to get to main shops. The property is clean.
Property is in need of modernisation and a spot of TLC, personally I feel for the cost of the stay the hotel would have been a better standard.
No replenishment of tea and coffee and not enough provided to cover.
2.5
Ontbijt is alleen full-English.

Location, friendliness of the staff
All the spiral stairs up & down to reception& breakfast room. There was a used contact lens found in one of the beds so was a bit off putting thinking the beds may not be clean.
4.5
Very friendly and comfortable. Very good breakfast.
Nothing apart from being up 4 flights of stairs

Good location for the ovo and the breakfast was good.
Beds a bit hard and the pillows. A little bit of road noise at night. No lift - we were fine but if you struggle with stairs then no alternative.
5.0
Great price and location for OVO/SECC, about a 20 min walk.
Staff friendly and helpful
Excellent choices for breakfast and you can see it being cooked.
Not the best views from our window but couldn’t be helped as looking onto others back gardens
3.5
Breakfast staff very efficient and friendly. Food good.

Breakfast was very nice and the location was quiet and convenient for transportation.
A lift would be nice and it took some time to work out how to get around the place.
4.0
Lovely staff , perfectly clean, great location next to a park and close to amazing restaurants
No double glazing - pub opposite our room was very noisy at times

We were their early and they said we we could check in as soon as our room was ready, we waited about 20 mins and were able to check in which was really appreciated as we had been travelling from early, I had messaged ahead of our stay for a room with not too many stairs to climb as my mum is 78 and they honoured it, the staff are all friendly and helpful from front desk, breakfast staff and house keeping, it was perfect for what we needed and would stay again, maybe a little out dated for some people but it's clean and well managed 💕

Pretty good location and on the hop-on hop-off bus route which was also handy. Clean and comfortable beds. Grand entrance, great breakfast and welcomed the opening windows. Great bars and pubs just a few minutes walk away.
Given the price, some of it was just tired. Cracked tiles in bathroom, broken/wobbly toilet seat. The room had new carpet and the foyer smelt of paint, but the bathroom was in need of work.

Location of the hotel and checkin-checkout process were great. The room itself was sufficient but smelled of cigarrette smoke. The bathroom was fine too.
Given the size of room (1 bed), it could have been a bit cheaper.
3.5
The reception staff was delightful.
The room had a good value considering this was the cheapest room available in Glasgow that night.
The room needed some restoration and cleaning.
5.0
Friendly staff and good breakfast
As I have limited mobility the stairs were challenging
5.0
Very central and close to many things
3.5
Very friendly staff
Very good filling breakfast
I had a single room and the bed was small. I will book a double room next time.
3.5
+ rich breakfast and the clean room.
+ Location was very good. Near pubs and restaurants and the exit roads.
- the bed was very uncomfortable, should be replaced.
The bed was too small and the matress was too hard, if you are longer then 1.80m. it causes you cold feet.
-no elevator in the building, if you have less mobility, it isn't suitable for you.

Clean, comfy, excellent value for money. The ladies that make the breakfast are lovely!

The staff were exceptional and so helpful and happy , this makes a stay so much more enjoyable.
Tge location for gallivanting Glesga is glorious , right in the jewel of Glasgows crown and tge public transport links are spot on, the 77 bus stops right outside and has you in the heart of the city in ten minutes . The price was fantastic value , I stayed in room 109 twin room on the ground and it was spotless and so comfy . Tge breakfast was an added delight and what upbeat happy staff they all were, , rays of sunshine infact . I travel a lot and this place is pretty much up there as the most value for money I've paid . Thanks Mary and staff I'll definitely return .
I wouldn't change anything , no fault whatsoever , only advice would be book lowvlevel rooms if your of the less mobile
