I didn't like the fact that there was no microwave in my room and the bedsheets were too old

Good hostel, bring sponges.

Decent enough to stay a few days, had the private bathroom which is a lifesaver. Locationwas accessible to most bus around the city and close to Commissioners park.

Some of the kitchen utensils weren’t present,sponge etc.

Good deal in Ottawa

Free parking and easy connection to the city centre. Very close to a super nice coffee shop too (serving breakfast). Plus, we got two separate beds!

This was our second time in this place . Easy to find food and sightseeing from this place .

We really appreciated the Hot water during the 2023 Tulip festival. The temperature dropped down from 20 to 1 . We were freezing especially after a river cruise .

No breakfast served . A chair in the room would help . Towel hangers in the bathroom .

The location is perfect. Staff were friendly and nice.

Good for a place to sleep on a budget, but the rest is questionable

Location was pretty good, and I was able to park. Responsive staff

The pictures of the room were misleading, and the room wasn't together as much as the photos. Other guest were loud in the building and walls weren't terribly thick. Tiles in the bathroom were smashed and hidden with a carpet, no towel rack in the washroom, just the holes where one used to be. Heat was also cranked pretty high and no way to control it.

This location and room worked for my short term (weding) needs.

The staff accomodated my need to stay in main building (other place confounded by a a street closure). THis put them out around other guests, but they appreciated my travel needs. The room itself was quite humble, but both adequate and contained the promised features.

Okay stay

Good location, we could walk into town and also get buses. Room was spacious and had a sofa, TV, and fridge. There was air conditioning and the bed was comfy and clean.

Bathroom smelt quite bad, like damp, so we had to shut the door and spend as little time in there as possible. There were mosquitoes in our room. The floor boards above us were very loud so woke us up when someone was moving around a lot at 3am.

I would not stay there again

There was no breakfast

The bathroom was not clean and had a strong odour of urine. I had to make a request for toilet paper. The grout in the shower had black marks probably mold and the fan cover was loaded with dust.The hall and down the stairs had a strong odour of urine .

I'd place a table in the room in order to just lean some clothes and objects and I would take the moquette off, cause you can clean it as much as you want, but it always keep the dirt... And maybe change the bed which was a bit caved. Never the less, we had a beautiful stay, our room had a super nice balcony, with a a beautiful window bathed with sun. And both the manager and the cleaning ladies were so nice at us.

Great price/quality ratio

The location is amazing. The staff were very accommodating. I had booked for 1 night and was supposed to arrive to Ottawa in the eve but I had an emergency and arrived early in the morning, so I managed to sleep for a few hours before continuing my trip.

They mention in the listing here that parking is free and doesn't need reservation. I contacted them before coming and told them I will need parking space and was wondering if my minivan would fit. They said yes. I considered their answer as a confirmation. Then in the evening Hassan told me over the phone that their parking is full because it's first come first serve. Anyway, I was lucky that morning that a couple were leaving and took their car so I managed to park my car safely.
