Great Location

The proximity to Comerica Park

Rooms were a little dated. Valet Service was excellent. However, a little expensive.

Great location when doing things in downtown Detroit.

Front desk staff and valets were extremely friendly and helpful. Room was very clean and quiet.

The breakfast attendant was rude and pushy.

Beware on Opening Day of the Detroit Tigers they will add additional charges for parking. Normally it’s $45. We were charged an additional $100. Charged $50 for what they call “event day parking charge” and $50 for “ overnight parking charge”? Ridiculous!!!

I really didn’t want to leave!!

The facility was extremely clean. I felt like i was at home! Decent view. Nice amenities! I liked having snacks and meals in the lobby also. Any issue I had was promptly resolved. Comfortable, peaceful, memorable stay! There is no doubt that I will stay with Hilton again in the future! Absolutely pleasant!

I liked everything! I have no complaints.

Location, location,location

Location,location, location! Staff was very friendly.

The elevators were very slow. The doors to the stairs were locked. What if an emergency happened? We were directed to another stairwell when pointed out. The price was stupidly high. The room was not vacuumed prior to our stay.

Convenient location, but very overpriced.

The location was good. We were able to walk to our event.

The price charged for an average room - actually very dull and dated - was ridiculous. I have stayed in upscale hotels in Chicago and New York for much less. The parking charge which we were not informed of when booking was ridiculous.

Outside of the chemical smell it was a good stay.

The beds were comfortable but not enough pillows. The room was clean but had an extreme chemical smell and presence that made me cough and gave my daughter and I sore throats. When we left the room it went away only to come back in the room. The staff was great.

The chemical presence in the room was quite overpowering. I didn’t cough at all once I left the room. When I came back the coughing started again. The room was clean except someone else’s soap had been left in the shower.

very loud music outside our room until the early morning hours. call front desk and they were aware of it however not sure if they notified police and they should have because of the city noise ordinance.

Overall a good stay - we would stay there again

It was a nice room and close the thr LCA where we went to see a game. The staff was very friendly and helpful when we had questions. The room was very nice and comfortable.

It shows online that there is a pool and hot tub (if you Google it it still shows up) and we were disappointed that it was untrue. (Apparently not since 2011) and I didn't like that we had the unexpected cost of $45 for overnight parking with no apparent other options offered. We also had breakfast included and they didn't give us the vouchers upon checking in so when we got to breakfast it was awkward when we were told it would be $16.75 per person for the buffet but the front desk immediately gave us the vouchers when we asked so that was solved swiftly.

no restaurant as advertised. room wasn’t ready at 6pm when our check in was supposed to be at 3pm. only 2 towels in room.
