No room service , no cleaning at all during my three night stay.

It was located close to the ballpark.
It was overpriced.

I loved the King Suite! Has a very “clubhouse” kind of feel. Perfect for a bachelor. Loved the decor of the room, hallways and lobby. Staff was excellent. Would rent again without a doubt.
Late check-in but it’s water under the bridge. These things happen.

The hotel is very nice looking from when you first walk in. Modern, clean and very "vibey". There was also security as it was after 11 when we checked in which was nice. The rooms were large and spacious and had a pretty nice view. I personally enjoyed the sounds of the city in the early morning hours.
So, the first room we were given was dirty with trash and disheveled bedding. The front desk employee apologized and moved us to a new room. The new room had a large puddle across the floor from I'm assuming the AC, we did let him know and he apologized again but we said we'd stay in that room. In the morning I let the new front desk person know just so they knew not to put anyone in that room until the issue was resolved and she was very dismissive and said to enjoy the day. Fortunately, I am not a crazy person and laughed it off but I know many people that would have been very bothered by the reactions received.

The staff was courteous and very helpful. They were very welcoming
That you had to pay $40 for valet services and they tried to charge an additional $19 to valet early while waiting for our room. The assistant general manager said he had no idea about it but waived it for us.

Our room was very spacious and clean! The staff at the front desk were very helpful and kind! We felt welcome the entire time! We will definitely plan to stay again

Large room for 5 persons. Large space for us all. Bathroom was large. Coffee pot in room.
Left us 1/2 roll of toilet paper. We had to go to the desk to pick some up. When we arrived they had no reservations for us even though I had all the information and confirmation number. I was told to call booking.com that was all they could do. I was in a panic. When we kept asking the other person she said ohhhh we had you in as Salisbury first name and Christy as the last name.

Anthony at the front desk was amazing - so kind and helpful and upbeat. He really went the extra mile.

Comfy rooms
-told I was able to get early checkin was not.
-restaurant wasn’t open
-spent 2 weeks trying to get my YSL prescription glasses back after housekeeping telling me they found them only to have the front desk lie and say they didn’t find them, once we talked to manager, they sent in the mail for shipping WE PAID FOR only to send us fake glasses that were not YSL, nor prescription and I don’t appreciate being lied to and scammed out of $700 glasses.

Super slow check in. (2-3 hour line to check in). Horrible valet

Phone did not work, did not have hot water. Small room. Staff couldn’t find my reservation at first.

Room was clean and comfortable
We paid a highly premium rate to stay within walking distance of the Taylor Swift concert. They clearly were not prepared nor able to execute 2 sold out nights in a row and we were not able to check in until almost 6pm with venue doors opening at 4:30 and check in supposedly at 4pm. We asked several times for early check in that was requested months in advance with no flexibility, and at the time of check in there were hundreds of guests also waiting in line with not enough clean rooms available to get everyone checked in and to the concert on time. If you are going to charge an outrageous rate for a special event, the hotel needs to be staffed appropriately and make the rate paid worthwhile. I would not trust this hotel again for being able to handle an in-demand event.

The property was in a great location, and the staff was very friendly.
Several issues. I paid $600 for a room with no air conditioning. Maintenance was supposed to fix it while my friends and I were attending a concert and it was not fixed when we returned at midnight. We also waited 20 min for the elevator because of the crowds and when we got to our room, our keys had been deactivated. The lady at the desk told us this happened because they needed to recharge the room to my card (even though I had already paid booking.com and had the receipt) because their was some sort of miscommunication between booking.com and the hotel. No one called me to let me know there was an issue, and locking us out of our room seemed absolutely ridiculous. The woman we spoke to in the evening charged my American Express again, and then said she knew nothing about our air not working… Although I called twice in the afternoon and spoke with Anthony. She said she could try and move us, but at this point it was midnight and my party was exhausted and ready to sleep. I spoke with Anthony in the morning, who apologized and said he was going to sort things out and give me a call. I have not received a call yet, but have called booking.com to work on getting the second charge removed. $600 is unbelievably expensive for 1 night in Detroit, but we paid it for convenience. Unfortunately, it was anything but that.

clean and good location
check in was terrible. if you drop a bag off early you can checkin starting at 3. the rest of us watched all this till exactly 4 when we could get checked in. we were 4th in line and it took 12 minutes for us so I pity the people at the end of the line.

Friendly personal
Booked online, was charged in advance and was told I could not get My AARP discount as I was already billed. Definitely want to know the secret to getting my discount

location
check-in process was horrible, valet services were terrible, hotel staff left guests waiting extended periods of time, and hotel bar/restaurant was never open during peak hours.

the location is amazing!
rooms were smaller than we hoped for the price we paid per night

Great service! Was close to our venue. Was very clean.
The doors shut very loudly and there was a barking dog at midnight. Super pricey.

The staff was friendly
It took more than 20 minutes to get checked in and then they sent us to a room that was occupied by other people. I swiped my key and walked right in on others. So we had to go back to the front desk and wait another 20 minutes for another room. This is all after trying to check in 6 hours prior but after waiting 30 minutes and only being at the 7th person out of 16 we decided to check in after our event.
