Overall still a good value.

The room was quite spacious, bathroom felt quite well maintained. The reception team was quite nice in providing me with early checkin as well as late checkout when I had flight delay.

The soundproof wasn’t ideal. Could easily hear the noise from the hallway and from the neighboring room. The mattress was a bit too soft for me. There’s a destination fees of 25 dollar each day to be spent at the restaurant too.

Le Meridien - Lacks Esprit

On the plus side, the desk personnel, with the exception of one young lady who seemed untrained and largely clueless, were excellent - patient, helpful and responsive. The entire facility was well air conditioned during an early (late May) heat wave.

On the downside, a number of admittedly minor defects in the accommodation and service accrued to the level of annoyance: The coffee maker in the room, while functional, was missing its top (i.e., it was a broken unit); the room for 2 was provided a single regular coffee packet and a couple of decaf packets. Again, in a room for two, we were provided a single glass in the bathroom. In the bathroom, a mount for a moveable mirror was missing the mirror - but the mounting (a lengthy stainless steel tube in front of the wall mounted mirror) was left in place - and looking derelict. In the shower where one usually finds shampoo, conditioner and body wash, there were two containers and an unused mount (not an empty bottle but the empty mounting frame); the mount should have been filled or, if superfluous, removed. A bumper attached to the bathroom door hinge was bent and consequently ineffective. The booking literature promised bathrobes; none were provided. The fitted sheet on the mattress was not deep enough to stay on the mattress in use so that it and the under-lying padding would come free during the night and bunch up uncomfortably; housekeeping should have addressed at the first occurrence. (That was promptly addressed when brought to the attention of management.) On registering, we were told the hours for breakfast service but not told there was a (significant) additional charge; if unaware, we would have walked in and served ourselves before being made aware. Individually these are mostly minor irritations - but easily avoided in a well managed accommodation.

Overall the stay was pleasant. It was just boring without a tv and they were booked so they couldn't move us to anot

It was a nice luxury looking property. The staff was friendly and nice.

Our tv didn't work and the engineer came to fix it but couldn't. I also stepped on someone else stud earring in the shower.

Nice a hotel, may stay the next time, everything was within walking distance

Everything was nice, I had corner room. The room was clean and spacious. Staff was nice, Everything that we were attending was within walking distance. Property was clean.

I did not like the bed, it was low to the floor. I also did not like that it was only one tv on the first floor that was located near the bar. Also did not like that i could not find a price list for the items on the wet bar.

Nice location, pleasant staff, rooms need some TLC.

The location is within walking distance or a short Uber to most attractions. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The corner rooms above the 5th floor have a nice view of the pool and the city.

The A/C wasn’t working in our room and the bathroom shower had a lot of mold in it. We were moved to a SMALLER room with a worse view. The A/C worked and the bathroom was cleaner, but the pillows had a weird stain on them. Also weird sewage smell in the lobby comes and goes.

Customer service was subpar.

We liked the location of the hotel and the room was nice.

We didn't like that it took us an hour to valet park. Also, we put in for service to our room in the morning but we did; n't get service until 5 pm.

The service was horrible. We asked for towels and other amenities several times and didn’t receive them. We couldn’t utilize the television because there was no remote. Maintenance finally showed up on the last day of our stay and that remote didn’t work either.

This is the equivalent of a 3 star premier inn hotel in England but it had a pool.

our room wasn't cleaned for a couple of days as the bin wasn't emptied despite being over flowing Also the maid folded up our wet towels and out them back in the bath room There was no where to get Tea to drink ( surprising for an international hotel) The staff didnt give us the alarm call we had asked for

A terrible experience when you dont get a place to rest after 13 hours of travelling.

I traveled with my family and the hotel was overbooked. Paid upfront but had to wait for 3 hours with my 6 weeks twins on a cold night until the alternate was arranged. The alternate hotel was also a troublesome experience due to non avilaibilty of parking spaces and had to move between hotels to arrange the parking.

Lovely hotel in a convenient location!

The location near the downtown, a casino, and the waterfront was very convenient. There were several well-known restaurants all within walking distance. The hotel was clean and comfortable. A small convenience store for snacks was available.

There is no full-service restaurant in the hotel -- a little inconvenient, but not a huge issue considering the outstanding restaurants that make New Orleans so wonderful.
