Absolutely disgusting place to stay

There was no absolutely nothing i or my friends liked. No breakfast service and in room coffee may have been expired there is not 1 thing offered and the advertised room that was in the shack shed nasty room I was in. Between the smell of mold, dirty covers and nasty tub, curtains and floor I'm sure the health department would close this place. Absolutely the nastiest place I have ever stayed. The guy at front desk was so high from smoking weed he didn't even realize I had a room.

The entire experience was a bait and switch and rooms advertised are not what you actually get. Entire experience was a shit show. The nice cabin is all you see when you book. The shed in orange is what you actually get and the room was so small the chair, frig, coffee pit were in the "hot tub" room. Where you can see the water coming out was yellow and gross like the green pool that wasn't usable. For 200 a night this is a no for me... waste of money for sure and false advertising for room and amenities avaliable as thete are none

We had a wonderful trip and the kids loved the pool we would definitely stay here again.

The room was clean and comfortable. The staff were very friendly and helpful.

We don’t have any complaints.

We like that we had access to the water park. Staff was helpful.

I didntblike that when we booked it the picture the show is the cabins but when we went there in reality was like an apartment. The linens had stains, the bathtub could of use a good cleaning and the outside pool wasn't working. It was outdated and when you go to check in the lobby is loud and everyone is talking at the same time but overall the staff was nice and helpful when we needed something like towels, clean linens and information about the Island.

It was awful.

The location. That’s it.

We were very unhappy. This place was filthy and the advertising is misleading. Our bathroom door to our room didn’t shut. Maintenance came and looked and said he couldn’t do anything since it would require the whole frame to be ripped up. The room was dirty. There were metal pieces on the sides of the bed which were a hazard for the kids. The private beach was a bit of a walk and is actually in front of a different hotel. I never saw a game room or signs for it. The water park was dirty. The lights outside at night didn’t work. We swapped rooms at 11pm because of the bathroom door and the room we moved to was filthy, mold growing on the ceiling over the bed, bodily fluids on everything, mildew all over the shower curtain. This place was GROSS. I also thought I had booked a cabin but apparently did not. Another family was also trying to switch rooms late at night like us and said that they also thought they had booked a cabin. The listing is very misleading. This is the worst place we have ever stayed at and changed the tone for the trip. We ended up back in the room with the bathroom door that didn’t shut. But seriously, this place was truly disgusting. We wanted a refund. If we could have, we would have packed our things the first night and left but I had paid for that stay with what little money I have to try to give my children a small vacation. Everything about this place was terrible, except for being able to walk to the shops.

Kind staff but poorly-maintained facilities.

Employees were friendly and helpful.

Facilities were poorly maintained. Tub looked dirty, toilet paper holder was broken, there were no towel bars or places to hang towels in the bathroom. Toilet shook when sat upon. Blankets on beds were thin, with no extra blankets in the room. (However, staff kindly brought me an extra blanket when I called.) Pool water was very dirty—so cloudy that I couldn’t see the bottom of the 3-foot deep pool. My daughter got a GI bug while we’re were staying there, and I believe it was from the pool.

We had 1 night were a beverage that we had sitting outside so it stayed cold came up missing. It was the only time that had ever happened to us

Pleasant

The pictures shown on the website shows roomy, newer cabins that line the front of the site. When we checked in, we were directed to the second row of cabins that were old, poorly lit and not a pleasant relaxing environment. I went back to the office and complained. We were then transferred to a ground floor room that was under the staircase to the second floor. The room was pleasant though noisy due to the heavy footsteps on the stairs. Room was fine and worked well for my granddaughter and me.

It was ok, but a bit dirty. The water park was too dirty and there was mold in the kids area.

1.The beds were comfortable and the location was great. 2.Bathroom in the room was clean. 3. Close to ferry station.

1.The room was kind of clean, but there were spider webs inside. 2.Outside of the room there was garbage on the floor. 3.Water Park was disgusting, there was mold in the kids area (a lot) it had a funny smell and the water didn't look too clean. 4.Water park Bathrooms did not have hangers or some place where to put your clothes while changing

Best stay ever!!

This place is so amazing. It really felt so comfortable and super safe! My dogs were able to stay and it was so cute!

There was not one thing that I would have changed.

Misinformed

Staff did their best to try and accommodate my expectations.

I over paid. Booking.com misrepresented this property and over charged me. I will never utilize booking.com again! I am so angry at the cost I paid for this property expecting one thing getting another.

Right in town easy access to everything

Needed more access to handicap availability. Only had one cabin with a ramp and it was old and musty. Had a small kitchenette but didn't have any supplies like most places do. Like plates, cups,maybe a broom and dustpan.

The Waffle House of Rooms ⁵

It had a roof.

Walking into a room that had unmade beds, someone's left over coffee cup, and their dirty towels strewn in the bathtub. Also, thought we were getting a cabin, we got a regular room.

We were disappointed and will not return

There was no breakfast. The entire building needs much repair. Extensive water damage and the stairs are rotting. Could barely get the door open because of moisture. Smelled musty.

Really enjoyed our stay, it was a great time of year to visit Mackinac Island and Mackinaw City

Separate cabins with the porches was really nice for privacy

Would be nice to have some sweeter and creamer for coffee in the room to go other the coffee and some washcloths

it was dirty. garbage was full, shower curtain moldy, dust in the rafters, table and counters had pizza sauce stuck on them. when I mentioned it to the desk staff I got a blank stare and a mumbled apology. also neighbors were super loud and drunk swearing well past midnight.

It had mold on shower curtain. Spider webs in corners. The outlet plugs were all loose wouldn’t hold our chargers. Didn’t like the location of the cabin. Light in porch didn’t work. No microwave had to put towel on toilet for shower no hooks by shower to hang

Misleading

What you show on the internet is not what you typically get a room in. Nice new cabin and get a old not clean.

The AC units where all moldy and the air gap between the AC opening let Bugs in all night. The cabin we selected online is not the cabin we where put into. You should show the cabin in detail
