Nie wieder

Deutlicher Aufschlag (ca 100 $ !!!), weil das Zimmer im voraus für zwei Tage gebucht wurde. Betrag wurde zu einem Zeitpunkt abgebucht, an dem.eine kostenfreie Stornierung noch möglich gewesen wäre. Schimmel im Bad, Fliegengitterfenster verbogen, Tisch klebte.

Very poor

The room had a really bad smell. Dusty and musty. We were overcharged ,room says $73 dollars per night ,we stayed 2 nights But was charged 272.00 + $55 for our 2 small dogs, we should of only been charged$146.00 for the 2 nights and the $55 for our 2 small dogs. We will not be returning to this motel anymore.

I really was expecting a nice stay. Disappointed about the pool.

The staff was nice.

The inside pool was not opened and the outside pool should have been closed. You couldn’t even see the bottom. Did not use as I have an open and something is for sure wrong. Needed to be cleaned and chemicals badly. There was spider webs in our room with a half a dollar side spider in the bathroom. The box spring had stains on it. The smell in the room smelled as mold. The alarm clock was not pulled in and the tv was not working. Had to figure out how to fix. Did not like that there was no phone in the room to call the front desk. And did not like that the front desk was not at the hotel. Didn’t feel safe about that.

Office staff the we were able to contact at the Thunderbird were very friendly and professional.

Breakfast no longer offered. No staff at Starlight office. We needed to go two motels away to register. Pool water was murky/dirty. We have stayed here before and were sad to see how things have deteriorated. We had no hot water for shower in AM. Carpet in room was buckled and needs to be replaced. Yard swing was broken.

Room was clean and comfy. Had a sliding door onto patio and yard.

Unique situation where 3 motels owned by same person. Only 1 check-in location and only 1 person at desk. Fan in bathroom sounded like airplane . Rooms and bathroom could use an update.

We had a dog with us. The hotel states it was pet friendly. When we arrived we were told we were supposed to call and let them know. That is no where on the website..now in our confirmation email. Also the cost was 60.00 a night. Again no where in the booking or in our confirmation email. We have never been charged 60.00...30.00 yes sure fine. 60.00 rip off. Caution on this motel.

Everything was fine. Clean and warm. The only issue was that the bed was too hard. Breakfast was not included in our stay. Other than that, everything was fine!

Exceptional

Every time my family visits Mackinac we stay at the Starlite. It's conveniently located and a bit of nostalgia for us.

The only downside was they have merged with the hotel next-door and no longer have their own check in office.

Won't go back, won't trust TripAdvisor's recommendations

It was clean.

The check-in office is closed and we were required to go to a nearby motel The Thunderbird Inn - to check in. The wall AC unit was so high up I needed to stand on a chair to see/adjust the controls. No extra blankets in the room. My partner (we're in our 80s!) walked in the dark back to The Thunderbird to ask for a blanket and was told they didn't have any. He stopped by the pool and picked up some large towels to use as blankets. Later a kind person staying in a nearby unit knocked on our door and offered us a blanket. The office must have called him. The shower offered very little water.

Decent hotel with all facilities to choose for a visit to Mackinac Island

Centrally located with onsite parking, decent hotel with all facilities. Clean rooms and hygienic bathrooms. Management was friendly and helping.

Check In process done at a different location but was close by with clear instructions. White colored Duvet Covers on the bed could have helped ensure that they are clean. Pricing could have been a little lower.

Starlite Bidget Inn was closed for the winter. We were redirected to stay at the Harrington Inn.

Superb

Terri was awesome. Super chatty, freindly Lady. It was end of season, so she moved us to a better room that was open. Evrything was great except some unruly people next door.

regretted selecting this place. For $63/night it is just fine but not when you pay $750 for 3 nights

Location. Staff was courteous too.

the value for the price paid. bugs crawling on the ceiling. Breakfast is advertised but not provided. Air conditioner, TV, Coffee machine, all very poor.

It's a place to lay your head.

Very friendly staff. Room fairly cleaned. Offered water park tickets for the kids. Fairly clean property. A/C. Close to restaurants, stores, boats to Mac island.... etc.

Outdoor pool not usable. Indoor pool okay but not heated Hard beds, no coffee maker in room. Neighbors next door sounded more like they were in our room. YIKES!!

Quiet, close to highway, staff nice, but service poor.

Good location.

Staff did not clean room our entire stay, no fresh towels, bed not made. Needed to have bathroom window sill cleaned. TV did not work. Outlets need repair, some did not work. Lighting poor.
