Location, price, staff, ambience were all great!
The wait at the restaurant was a little lengthy.

Perfect location. Woodwork was amazing. I felt like I was at the Continental from John Wick. Extremely clean.
Valet was great.
Advertised price was $202. Price at check-in was $243. Price at checkout was $348. You have to be a "member" to access their advertised facilities and food. The room was nice, but tiny. The bed was motel level of comfort. The TV channels and room amenities were from the 90's. I didn't see anyone else there after 10pm. Felt like I was the only person there, kinda weird. The shower head was garbage and the water took several minutes to get hot. How many decent shower heads can you buy with $348?? The maid aggressively knocked on my door every hour-ish starting at 8am asking in another language when I'm checking out. Checkout was at noon.

The Columbia Club is a very unique, historic building that was very neat to see. The location is exceptional as well.
The rooms themselves are very small and outdated. The bed was not very comfortable either.
3.7
Location was very nice. Outside valet and bell staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful at all times.
There was no indication that I would not receive any type of housekeeping service during my stay. I feel like there should have been minimal housekeeping offered for a three night stay.

Cool place
Cockroaches in the room. The staff were nasty to us. Charged me over $100 of extra fees.

Location was staff was great
The room didnt have any USB ports to charge cell phones

old school luxury
it’s a private members club so lots of older people in dress clothing.

THe location, the building, the staff, the architecture, the bar/restaurant all excellent. Loved the "clubby" feel and the lobby is just spectacular. Very convenient valet parking as well. Thank you
Room was ok .. very comfortable and felt safe. Decor is dated, no refrigerator, TV very small for today's standards. There was an ice bucket but plastic cups. Glassware would be nice .. also .. where do you get the ice?? Nothing on the phone to suggest who to ask .. no instructions in the room.

When you walk into this location, it takes you back about a century. The woodwork, fireplace, and all the intricate details are absolutely beautiful on the first floor!
The beauty and greatness of the location stops on the first floor. The elevator took us up, and I was expecting to see the same type of excellence, and I did not receive that. The rooms were very dusty, outdated, and bare, minimum inside of the room. The hot water only worked for approximately five minutes and then it was done. There was dirt/dust all over the place!

location is definitely amazing
1. I booked King Deluxe room initially. Upon arrival it was not cleaned. I got similar, which turned out to be a downgrade to a smaller size room.
2. booking said “City view” for a deluxe room, yet neither of the two I’ve seen have had a city view. Misleading labeling and advertising.
3. Staff is rude and unless you are a club member, make you feel like you are not welcome

Location is spot on and in the Heart of Indy. The staff was super kind. The pregame breakfast was phenomenal!!
Well it says parking available but didn’t say it was $40 bucks a day to park. Which after all the little fees here and there the “deal” I thought I was getting turned out to cost me more than other hotels in the area.

housekeeping woke up guests at 9:30am

The entire staff was very courteous, sympathetic and helpful.
The rooms are seriously outdated and ugly. No USB ports, The pictures above the beds are creepy Gargoyles. The window was very drafty letting cold air in. There was no way to adjust the temp. in the room, had to have a space heater brought in. The mattresses need to be replaced. The new key system stopped working twice and I had to go and get new keys. But, The absolute Worst was not having Hot Water. I had to be transferred from the first room I was assigned because of this (and the awful beds) only to go to another room where the water still wasn't very hot.

the hotel is very nice and the rooms are quite comfortable and spacious
it’s directly on the circle, I wouldn’t suggest driving, due to no parking.

It was very nice and the bed was comfortable.

small beds

The "suite" was hardly any bigger than the bed! My 14 year old and I were treated like second class citizens; maybe because we weren't wearing suits.
However it's a nice historic building with beautiful woodwork throughout the first 2 floors.

I was supposed to stay here the end of June on a 90 degree day. The lobby and common areas were not air conditioned as I entered the hotel but I had hopes that my room would be. I got to my room and the window was open with tape and a random plastic vent- which was just bringing in outside air. The air conditioner didn't work so i went back to the front lobby and they initially said to just wait in my room for an engineer to come fix it. (Which was a form of torture since it was 90 degrees and humid) So i went back down to the lobby and they proceeded to put me into another room where the air conditioning didn't work. It was pretty clear they don't have functioning air conditioning- or at least a system that can compete with 90 degree weather. So i asked for a refund - i was very polite and just said that They can give me a refund or i can submit a case with my credit card company since i have pictures (but if I have to submit a case with my credit card company I will give bad reviews. So i left it up to them). They said sorry we won't give you a refund. So here is my promised bad review .

I loved the location and the history of the old building
I didn't like. Being charged 50$ more than my 3rd party and I agreed to and when I made my reservation I paid for a double queen bed room and was given a single queen bed for more money and was never informed of the price increase. The front desk young man was not very people friendly and was actually kind of rude. He didn't even give me any sort and of nothing. No Information at all, just said elevator is down on your left. Okay thanks. I am currently disputing the charges they are trying to take. When it's not what you were told the charge plus tax was to be and might not of been upset if the clerk would of informed me he was charging me 50$ more. So pay attention, especially if your booking thru 3rd party. I booked thru Booking com.

I thought the library was amazing. The beds were comfortable. The staff was very helpful and accomodating

Fantastic spot downtown, incredible aesthetics in the lobby, comfy room and a huge shower. Lots of amenities for being an inexpensive place compared to everywhere else.

It was a great location for walking around downtown Indianapolis. Very comfortable beds.
Rooms could use some decor updating.
