Comfortable and convenient

Very clean, well appointed accommodation. The bed was comfortable and tea/coffee/biscuits were provided. noise insulation was very good despite it being on a main road. Host help messaging service was good and immediate.

Nearby street parking was a bit random and inconvenient but that's no fault of the B&B. I would have preferred to see a member of staff some time during my stay but for a fully automated stay, it seemed to work well. Despite building works being carried out, if it was my place, I would have cleared up some of the general rubbish left on site or made the builder clear up after work. The garden looked like a rubbish sack had been dropped in it from a great height. Most builders leave a site tidy, at the end of the day.

The most stressful place I never stayed in

The room actually looked ok, however the negatives surpass the positives

I believe the room to be unsafe for a 2 year old - low velux windows with no key to lock and a lock built into the door with no safety chain. I told the owner over the phone that I could not stay in an unsafe room for my daughter, he advised that he would call me back. I went to the room to collect my belongings and he was in my room! This was a massive Invasion of privacy and it really shook me up. Regardless of whether he was looking at the room to see if he agreed with my complaints, letting himself into the room I had paid for, that my belongings were in, without my permission was completely inappropriate. He did not agree with my safety concerns but also admitted he didn't have kids - so he would not understand what a 2 year old can do. I was called a liar and was told I had already decided to stay elsewhere - also incorrect, I drove home which took double the time it should have because I have a 2 year old. If you want a property unsuitable for young children and staff that do not respect boundaries, this is the one for you.

Overpriced and quite disappointing

The fully digitised check-in system meant that it didn't matter that I arrived very late in the evening on my first night. Proprietors didn't have to stay up to let me in, etc. Whole place was clean and tidy. Wide range of options for the TV. Families with young children would have no trouble finding something suitable for the kids to watch, or maybe a movie for themselves.

Massively overpriced for what it was (although probably price hiked due to major event at Cardiff Stadium on the second night). Location felt quite unsafe, eg property next door was boarded up with scaffolding all over the front. Other properties in the same block mostly looked run down and uncared for. Parking was very unsafe, much more so than implied on website. You can't park outside the property because double yellow lines all along the road. The nearby roads suggested for parking felt run-down and risky. I honestly worried that my car right not be there when I returned to it each morning, and felt very vulnerable walking along the street with my luggage advertising to anyone watching that I was a visitor.

Great stay

The B&B was decorated well, and it's facilities were great. Their continental breakfast is more than enough. Great that they provide multiple TV subscriptions which can be used in your room. About 15 mins walk into town.

Wonderful and amazing place to stay in.

The property was well presented and immaculately condition. The owner of the property were very kind, supportive and helpful.

Just the parking space it needs to be added. Had to take time to find parking space on the road near the property with the restrictions on the street parking I have to searched for the right one.

20 min walk into town or a 5 minute uber (buses aplenty too) Parking within 2 minutes on side streets free of charge Room easy to check into and very secure Room spotlessly clean with biscuits tea and hairdryer Bed comfy with fresh linen and towels provided everyday Tv with lots of Netflix amazon ect

Nothing major the only downside was Room 3 could do with a blind as we felt overlooked at times and it was curtain closed or open Plug sockets especially one under desk is hard to get too, maybe an extension cord would come in handy Bed comfy but would recommend your own pillow Toilet seat wouldn't stay up, only an issue for me and not the wife Shower very low pressure but warm and clean with shower gel provided

Good value Great to have breakfast Messages were responded to very quickly 20-minute walk into centre of city Very comfortable bed. I was in room 3 - it was quiet, comfortable and very warm Immaculately clean Easy to self check in and come and go freely There is a wonderful Persian restaurant in the street behind and a Sri Lankan restaurant that, although it had shut for the night and the family were sitting chatting, smelled delicious!

It would have been nice to meet our hosts. A panini maker would be good to heat up croissants and melt cheese!

An absolute gem of a B&B

The room was comfortable. Was a nice touch to have Amazon Prime and Netflix available. I had one minor grievance regarding the shower head losing power due to leaking and this was fixed as soon as it was mentioned! The breakfast facilities are really nice and relaxing. There were no milk containers in the room but that was actually good as fresh milk was available in the dining area with little jugs to take some to the room. The whole experience was great and I will certainly stay again in the future. As I spent some time working from the room it was great to have a small desk in the room as well as high speed internet via free wi-fi.

Didn’t like location but can’t comment on the property itself.

The property sounded lovely with great reviews but we were disturbed by the location. It is on a busy road and despite assurances that there was ample parking nearby we couldn’t find anywhere to park and we weren’t comfortable with the surrounding area. We felt it wasn’t somewhere we could stay and found alternative accommodation.

Beautiful accommodation, great location.

Lots of effort gone into making the place as nice as possible. Really nicely laid out, everything in the room that's needed. Breakfast was great quality and the dining room was beautiful.

Extra shelf needed in bathroom for toiletries. I would have liked the inroom tea/coffee cups cleaned during the day, once I'd got back in the evening I washed them myself in the sink. The tiles in the bathroom are lifting and one of them is cracked. I requested semi-skimmed milk for breakfast as there wasn't any provided, I was asked to buy my own, I was really disappointed with this as the B&B was overall so lovely.

Great stay and great value for money.

Staff were very helpful on arrival over the phone. Room was very neat and tidy and bed was very comfortable. Bathroom was nice and clean. And the tv had Netflix, Amazon and the rest of the tv apps.

We were very satisfied with this accomodation. It is tastefully and nicely furnished. Our room was regularly and thoroughly cleaned:-) The owners are helpful and caring. The place is quite close to the city centre (15 minutes by foot).
