Fantastic in every way 10/10

The staff were fantastic, the entertainment was fantastic, we danced the night away. The price was fantastic as was the location and facilities. 10/10

A tired and disappointing hotel

Room was clean. There was a lift. Parking permit was available for purchase @ £2 for the whole day. There was entertainment in the evening.

The room I was given was not the room I viewed and booked online and there were no other rooms available. The view from the window was a flat roof and the kitchen vent outside my window was loud and smelly. The bathroom was tiny, not at all like the photos online. When I booked I was advised that if I wanted breakfast, I should book it with reception on arrival, when I tried to do this I was told "there was no room at any time for me to have breakfast in the hotel and that I should walk into town and find a cafe"

Never again!!

Nothing.....Could not wait to check out quick enough. It always shocks me what the GM is doing about the standards and quality of the place.. If you need a GM give me a call!!! Been in the hospitality trade for over 33 years. Most of the cheaper hotels along the sea front are in the same poor state....what is going on?? I have stayed in three now which are dirty and falling apart. Wouldn't happen if I was running a hotel. shame on the owners and GM's

Convenient, clean and friendly welcoming staff.

Hotel was conveniently located for all the main attractions of Eastbourne. Staff were very friendly and hotel was kept very clean. Don’t worry that this hotel is only rated 2 star, it is easily a 3 based on other hotels we have stayed at previously in Eastbourne.

Dinner was served too early for us, hence why we decided to eat out.

Breakfst small for my husband but fine for me. Location good. Opposite Bandstand where we enjoyed a tribute to Bruno Mars. Staff are lovely and friendly. The hotel is old fashioned but has a lovely atmoshere. You feel comfortable. Also they have a singer in the evening which is great.

Think the mattress needed renewing, it was soft and springy. Although not too bad.

Comfy, Clean, Friendly hotel near Eastbourne beach

Amazing staff, so friendly and nice. The location is great, right near the beach. It's all really comfy and the bar was terrific and open whenever you wanted a drink.

There was nothing we didn't like but it's probably worth noting that the hotel mainly seems to accomodate older guests, which wasn't a problem for us at all - but the entertainment and breakfast times are kind of tailored to this. Still really nice though.

Very decent premises for the price.

Slightly confusing layout of the corridors and stairs, but that's not a major issue, except... Make sure you tell them when booking if you have any mobility issues, as some rooms are on mezzanine levels, not accessible except by stairs.

Hotel bar/seating area was surrounding main entrance - very busy and off putting. Room was very hot - no air fan.

Nothing to shout about

Broken toilet seat that was initially attached with cheap plastic clips. Being interrupted by the staff asking if we had used the shower as they had a mysterious leak in the kitchen.

Very pleasant experience at Haddon Hotel

Clean, spacious room. Staff very friendly.

The shower was not connected to the wall, so I had to hold it, which was difficult to wash at the same time.
