No regrets booking my stay here. The rooms were very clean, they have a mix of modern and traditional rooms that are very spacious for solo travellers. Great location too, within walking distance from the train station and to all the onsens in town. There are onsens within the property that are open from 4pm - 9am so you can have a soak at night.
Big shoutout to the staff Naoko-San and Kaki-san, who were so friendly and hospitable! They showed me how to wear the yukata properly, explained the customs for onsen, and provided a list of recommendations in town!

Very good location, lovely staff, japanese room with tatami floor. Convenience Store nearby. Good value for money.

The ryokan is on Kiya-cho street along the main canal, so very central and a few minutes away from the station by foot.
I arrived in the evening and I found the staff a bit in a hurry and short-tempered (for Japanese standards). I asked a couple of questions but I felt like if I was disturbing them. Anyway, the reception lady the next morning was much more pleasant.
About the room, it was a standard tatami room. The pillow was very hard and it gave me neck pain. Also there were some hairs in the toilet so I didn’t find it as clean as other ryokan

Staff was super friendly! Helped me find restaurant at night for dinner. Let me check in a little bit early. Hotel has its own onsen. They provided me with English info which was great. Someone there speaks English from 9-4pm :0)

Great value for money, the onsen was worth the top up.
