Nice cozy and clean house in Waldport. Really enjoyed our time.

Home was very nice and accurately described online. Beach access is right across the street.

Wonderful stay and renovated house was really nice. Beautifully set on a quiet street. While Waldport is very small and everything closes early, it was situated close to bigger areas and was perfect for us. Our only concern was that the beach access is not very accessible for all visitors. It was very steep, rundown and rickety. My parents were not able to get down it so we had to find accessible beaches near by to visit. Thankfully there are a few close to the house.

My family enjoyed our stay. It had all of our needs covered and was comfortable. The kids appreciated that there were some games available. They also appreciated the light-blocking curtains so they could fall asleep easily after a long day! Not a huge deal, but the doors and door frames could use a scrub. Small details, but it stood out in a home that was otherwise quite spotless. :)

Close to the beach. Great location all around. Nice little place with plenty of room for the family. It was very clean and it worked great for us for a long weekend at the coast.

Great summertime location! Unfortunately, it was rainy when we stayed, so getting the livingroom warm was a bit of a challenge. Great seating and space for two groups. Lots of rainy day games and activities available! Be sure to bring containers/wrap for storage of any leftovers you might have. We would rent again! Enjoy your stay!

Plenty of room and easy beach access

We had a great stay. Beach access is directly across the street. But if you have any mobility/balance issues, you might go down the road a little less than a mile to Patterson park where the access is a bit smoother. The house is roomy and has a nice flow. The back room with the toys and books was great for the kids. They spent most of their time there when we weren't out and about. The grill worked wonderfully. The house was well stocked with kitchen items you might need. There is a wood stove for use, but we didn't bother with it. We just used the radiant heater in the living room. It works well, but takes a little longer to warm things up. We were in the king bedroom, it was cold the first night, but I then discovered the radiant heater in the closet that we could've used. We just turned the cadet heater in the master bathroom on a lower temp and left the door open between the two. The king bed, we found quite comfortable, however there are noticeable indents on both sides so it might be time to think about a replacement. The house was clean. There are some scuff marks on the walls and doors that make it look a bit less so, but we found everything satisfactory. The last thing I will note is that the ceiling, where it previously leaked should be fixed, aesthetically speaking. It rained while we were there and the leak seems to have been addressed as we didn't have any issues, but the paint is still bubbled and you can see that there was previously a problem this might be a bother for some people. Again, we enjoyed the home and had a great stay. Thank you for your hospitality.

Just as advertised. Plenty of space and nice rooms.

The roof started leaking forming a bubble in under the paint in the living room until it broke and spread further in the ceiling. Vacasa was very friendly when I contacted them but sent no one to fix it. If I was the home owner I would be furious! Also no compensation was offered for having to move all furniture out of the way and listen to water drip from the ceiling into a bucket for three days. Absolute disaster!!!

House was very clean and comfortable, close to the beach and a view of the ocean.

Nice remodel of an older home, close to the beach. View of the bridge from the beach (not from the house). Miles of sand for walking. The bed was comfortable, the kitchen was fully equipped for a Thanksgiving dinner and we even got lucky with the weather: 4 out of 5 days were sunny which is pretty lucky in November in Oregon. The only suggestions I'd have are some new teflon pots as all the teflon was scratched. Would stay here again.

Loved this place with lots of space and amenities. Direct beach access right off your doorstep and great base location for central Oregon coast and small town fun. Highly recommended! :-)

Super clean and nice layout. View of ocean is partially blocked by a house across the street but it's still a decent view. House has mostly everything you would need. Owner should add a cover to the front door window as anyone walking by can see a bit inside, even more if someone stood by the door. Made my wife a little uncomfortable. Would stay again.

The place had all that we needed to cook meals. They had a few spices to use. Nice and close to the beach across the street. We watched many beautiful sunsets from the front deck. A quick drive to a few larger towns and many sights to see.

We stayed here for 2 nights, it was 4 adults, a toddler and dog. The house size was perfect, there were toys for the kid in the backroom which was quickly dubbed "the playroom". The beach access is right across the street, so we were able to go right to beach without any hassle. The backyard area is fenced in, buts it's a really low fence. Our dog was fine as she is trained not to go beyond borders, but we still kept an eye while she was back there for safety. If you have a dog that likes to jump, they can easily escape.
We will be staying at this location again- I book marked it as a favorite.

Check in/out was very simple. House was clean. We had everything we needed: linens, towels, extra blankets, kitchenware, basic toiletries, etc. There was also minimal spices, plastic wrap, etc. - I assume just stuff guests have purchased and left behind. Location was great! Waldport is one of our favorite places along the Oregon coast. Quiet neighborhood. Path to the low traffic beach was directly across the street. The stairs at the end of the path are a bit wobbly, but with caution, we were able to get down to the beach. We would absolutely stay again!

We had a nice time!! Furniture could be updated and cleaner. Bed was very comfy. Would be nice to have a TV in bedroom and directions on how to use fireplace. Was so nice having a washer/dryer with soap!! Will definitely stay again one day!!

Spent a long weekend at the house. The house was clean, comfortable. Nice main room plus spacious back room for second hang out space. We had quick and easy beach access with lots of room to walk and play with our daughter and dog. Great Bistro right around corner plus nice kitchen for cooking in

The house is just across a narrow lane from the beach, and a beach access. The path is steep, but has very effective non-skid grating. However, at the bottom, there's a drop of a couple feet to small boulders. This drop, and the uneven rocks, make it unsuitable for anyone who's not reasonably fit. Getting back up to the path would, again, be a challenge if you can't scramble up the several foot vertical gap.
The house was well fitted out with comfy furniture, and lots of bedding/blankets and towels. A back room has some games, puzzles, and books. Washer/dryer in the back, too.
The kitchen needs more pans. Lots of huge pots suitable for boiling crab, but only one small saucepan. Otherwise, it was adequate for our needs.
It was, overall, clean and well maintained, although we discovered there'd been a white dog there. Our socks picked up quite a bit of dog hair from the carpet, as did our clothes from the living room furniture and throw/blanket.
I would certainly stay there again!

Very nice house. We loved the beach access right across the very quiet street and the views were great! The beds and couches are comfortable, there were plenty of games and puzzles for the kids to enjoy and a nice tv selection of things to watch in the evenings. The shower drains need some attention, it took forever for them to drain so you stand in your dirty water as you shower. Also the window in the front door and the slider need some sort of covering, both areas are accessible to the neighbors' prying eyes which made using the back room extremely uncomfortable as they stood in their upstairs windows and watched us, which was weird. We also had to buy a fan as there weren't any in the house and it got stuffy during the night. All in all we enjoyed our time and would rent it again.

Spotless home with everything you need. Beach access is steps away from the front door, lots of places to hike or explore the OR coast within 15 min up or down the road. Check in and check out were super easy via text messages. Clean and comfortable stay would definitely come again!

Really nice, clean house with fenced yard for the pups. Beach was right across the street and very quiet. We made fires in the wood stove at night & it was super cozy.

This home is so cozy and perfect for a relaxing vacation. It was home away from home 🏠. The bed was very comfy. The entire home was super clean. We will come back again!

This place was amazing. A very short trip down to the beach. It does get a little toasty during the day or if you are cooking so make sure to bring some shorts. We brought our 10 month old and it was perfectly baby proof for minimal accidents/injuries. I would most definitely stay here again.

The home was the perfect size for our family. Great, quiet location with a path to the beach across the street. The home was well equipped. If we decide to come to the coast again, we'll likely look to see if this house is available.

We loved the cute house ! It was perfect for our family and such a quick walk to the beach. We saw seals !! It was so much fun. Next time we will stay longer for sure

Great location, clean, easy beach access.

Since renovations, home seems nicer than past reviews would reflect. Lots of room, comfy beds. Great view. Skylights are nice. Lots of windows. Gas grill was convenient. Excellent beach. Near hilltop Cafe, good local restaurant. Grocery, liquor store and coffee shops close. Nice to have laundry machines.
It would benefit from some ovenware. There were NO baking dishes or sheets or pizza pans. There were NO kitchen cooking basics like salt, pepper, foil, bags, spices, cooking spray or anything. We left syrup, salt pepper, garlic powder, but I don't know if it will be thrown out or not.
Beach access wasn't super easy if you're worried about knees, ankles, etc. Kids have no issues, but if my parents were going I'd recommend walking sticks. Gorgeous beach, lots of eagles, seals, sea lions in view.

Perfect Location
Beach access was right across from the house. The road in front of the house is a dead end drive way to many other houses. The house was clean and comfortable. The king bed was the best bed I have ever slept on away from home. Will for sure be back. Didn't need it, but was not able to locate the second lock-box however.

Great weekend getaway
Great place for a couple or family with your dog! Very cozy! Great views. Easy beach access. The only thing that would make it better would be a later check out time.

Cozy
For as small as it is, it's a nice place. Close to beach and also not to far from activities.

This was our second time staying at this property in just over a month. We really enjoyed the location, and the proximity to the beach last time that we wanted to come back. We really appreciate that this house lets us bring our fur baby along with us, with a small yard for him out back!
This time there were a few issues compared to our first stay; the dryer wasn’t working (which I reported immediately to Vacasa, as the drum wasn’t moving but it was getting hot), the kitchen sink was backing up, the front door locking mechanisms need some attention (we couldn’t open the door a few times), and the front door really could use some sealing around it. We were there during a high wind storm, and a lot of cold air was coming in around the door.
Overall, we enjoyed this house a second time, and would definitely come back in the future!

Great Stay and Location!
The house is a bit old, but that didn’t bother us! We loved that the home is pet friendly, had plenty of space for us, well stocked, and the location is awesome! Right across the street is a nice path to walk down to the beach to. The beach is private so there aren’t a ton of people, which is wonderful! We’ll definitely be back!

Home away from home...
This was our second time renting this home and I'm sure we will continue to stay here each time we visit the area. It has been well stocked and very clean each time we stay here. It is just steps from the coast line and a quick mile into town and is also just down the road from the family we visit. We recommend this house for all who need a homey place to stay.
