We were in the centre of Fremantle, excellent location

Room was lovely. Location fabulous.
The shower’s hot water was lukewarm warm. OK in summer, but would be awful in winter.

Historic building restored beautifully
Unique entry/lobby was in a Pub which seems more typical in AU. Unexpected - probably didn’t understand

Beautifully renovated heritage building

La situation et l’architecture de l’hôtel
Un peu bruyant le soir à cause du pub au rez de chaussé (mais c’est les chambres sont quand même biz insonorisées) et le matin à cause des recharges en stock de bières !

Check in and check out was efficient and friendly. The room was spacious and very well appointed. The twin showers were a nice touch.
By far the biggest disappointment was the lack of hot water for a shower in the morning. I didn’t appreciate paying over $500 dollars for a nights stay and not even getting a hot shower. Also parking was offsite.

The location was awesome, so close to everything. The room was very classy with great finishes.

Location of hotel in old centre of Albany, close to shops, cafes, restaurants and other attractions. Good renovation of an old hotel. Bars and live music were plusses. No sound problems. Roof-top bar a feature andwith good night-time views over central Albany
Front door to reception was very tight. Nothing else.

The size of the room and balcony was impressive
The noise from the bar downstairs

Superb location, comfy bed and room with balcony was excellent.
Good water pressure and showers good size
Clean and spacious rooms
No on-site parking, only 300m away but with suitcases a little hard.
Parking $25 a day extra (not too bad) at a parking station

Perfect location, loved our room and balcony. Beautiful bed and linen. Hotel food was delicious (especially the snapper!) and restaurant staff lovely. It was a lovely old hotel, tastefully decorated and extremely comfortable for our long stay. We really loved the International! Thank you.
Bar staff need better training! We discussed this on leaving the hotel. I was outraged that we spent over $4k at the hotel and my husband was refused service for me (we had eaten dinner in the bar and were watching music) as the young bartender said I appeared drunk, and needed to present myself to him for assessment!! I went to him to see what would happen. He served me of course and said the person having the alcohol needed to come to the bar. After this extreme insult I did not spend another cent on meals or drinks at the hotel. I trust this will be rectified as we would like to come back - but not to be subjected to this inappropriate and insulting treatment. We observed his rudeness and that of a tall dark haired girl to other patrons as well. Your hotel is lovely, but certainly compromised by the behaviour of these two individuals.

Room was beautiful, spotless with great balcony
It was impossible to sleep until after 1am. Very loud noise/music from downstairs pub, drunk people on the street screaming, next door bar. Although the downstairs bar closed the doors after around 9pm it didn't help much at all. Rooms are not cheap and although beautiful it doesn't mean anything if you're not getting any sleep. We were already a bit worried when we found earplugs supplied in the bathroom.
These room need proper sound proofing.
Hotel staff were very nice and friendly but bar staff very unfriendly, tried to order room service, nobody answering phone, went down to the bar with bar staff saying phone is broken and unfriendly reaction to my order.

there was nothing i didnt like about it.

Staying somewhere historic as well as comfortable. The rooftop bar has a great atmosphere.
Although well equipped and spotless, the room was rather austere and on the small side for the price. A breakfast service would be good.

Location great. Room size great. Very clean. the styling was in keeping with the period. Roof top terrace had great views but pricey.
Some areas needed fixing - shower head, toilet roll holder, tv cables fallen, air conditioner dripping on pillow. Room service took ages and food was average. Overpriced particularly given the above.

ideal location in the centre of Fremantle. Clean rooms with excellent facilities. Balcony overlooking street where a lot is happening. Rooftop bar is a must. local parking available through hotel. excellent restaurants nearby. Really helpful reception team.
Single beds are a bit narrow. Noise coming from inside the hotel in early hours of furniture shifting which was odd and unexplained by the owners except possible ghost!

We loved the heritage feel and look and the rooms were fitted out perfectly.
Nothing.

Rooftop bar was lovely. Rooms were nice but a bit expensive. Location was excellent. Good selection of beers on tap.
The price was quite steep for a hotel room, and they do not serve breakfast. However, there are plenty of little cafes nearby. The restaurant food was was okay. A bit disappointed that I had to order a salad as the steak only came with chat potatoes and 1 piece of asparagus. The Parmigiana ordered by someone else had a nice little green side salad would have been much better, but they didnt even have a green salad on the menu.
