We're so glad we chose this place for our first Lake District trip as a family. Adam and Symmoane were lovely hosts, always eager to help or up for a friendly chat. Quiet comfy rooms, good amenities, great location and 3 beautiful cats (we miss spotting Jethro from our window). What's not to love!

Rooms were clean and cosy and the bed comfy.
The location is ideal for Bowness and Windermere.

A lovely B&B, Symmoane and Adam were so warm and welcoming! We absolutely loved the supply of Radox bubble bath in our bathroom such a lovely touch to a well equipped room. Breakfast was perfect, the continental option allowed us to eat as much as we wanted particularly useful for our walking day.
Thank you so much for having us!

Wonderful welcome from Adam/Simmone; very friendly and helpful. Loved the labels everywhere - very useful for finding things quickly. Breakfast was help-yourself continental & absolutely perfect for us; Simmone's home-made compote/yoghurts were delicious (she even gave me the recipe). The bedroom/en-suite were comfortable and well-equipped. Erim Bank is perfectly placed for walking into Bowness & great to have on-site parking.
Nothing about Elim Bank!
We struggled to find somewhere to eat on a Tuesday night in Bowness, but that was the only inconvenience of the whole four night stay!

We booked Elim Bank Guest House for our 1st Wedding Anniversary celebrations. The location is fantastic and they have parking behind the house. We arrived early to beat the traffic on a Bank Holiday weekend and were unsure we would be able to use the carpark. Not only could we use it, Adam and Symmoane checked us in early. What a lovely couple they are! So friendly and attentive. You can tell they are very proud of their business by the care and hospitality they provide, nothing is too much trouble.
The room we stayed in was at the top of the house on the 3rd floor, it was spotlessly clean and had everything you could need. Fresh towels, face cloths, toiletries, hairdryer, iron, tea and coffee making facilities and even a bottle of water! The house itself is beautiful and has lots of character.
Breakfast was really nicely organised with 3 sittings and they have homemade compote which is divine, plenty of cereal varieties, toast, jam, marmite, croissants, pain au chocolat etc. Lots of GF options too! No cooked breakfast which was fine for us.
We would highly recommend Elim Bank Guest House and would definitely go back, in fact we're looking return next year with family!
Absolutely nothing to improve on!

Could do with some work on upgrading the rooms but generally it was fine and not a negative just something to improve on.

Could do with warm breakfast..rather than just cereals, tea and toast.

Had a lovely 2 night stay with my 2 adult daughters. The room was clean and spacious with a double bed and full size single bed, ( often find rooms only have a small sofa bed.) Adam and Simmone were friendly and welcoming. Great breakfast. Will definitely go back
Nothing excellent standard

Owners of this B&B very friendly and helpful. The location is exceptional just a 10 minute walk into the main area. great choice of shops, pubs and restaurants.
Couldn't fault it really. Bathroom was a tad to small but we did book late so probably ended up with the last available room but I am not complaining the bathroom is fully equipped and everything works fine.

The location is amazing as it is so close to the lake and it is easy to travel to other attractions. The on-site parking is a plus especially in a busy tourist location with limited public parking. The owners are so friendly and welcoming and the rooms are comfortable and clean.
I cannot fault anything, especially considering the room was such great value.

Excellent location. Extremely friendly owners. Room has everything that you need. Overall a wonderful stay. Owners committed to making it better by asking for feedback. Couldn’t find anything to suggest.
The only downside is staggered sittings for breakfast so if your ideal timing is already booked you have to adapt, however breakfast to go bags are available. So they make the best out of the situation so it’s not deal breaker.

It was a wonderful stay. Adam and Symmoane were very friendly and did their best to provide the best experience in Bowness-on-Windermere. The room was clean, car parking at the property was very handy as my husband and I could just walk to Windermere Lake and some restaurants/pubs nearby. They also offered a good breakfast, including porridge and grilled cheese. We will definitely recommend this place to our friends or even stay there another time when visiting The Lake District.

Adam & Symmoane were so incredibly welcoming and are such lovely hosts. The place was spotless and our room was so cosy. Plenty of selection for breakfast. We also got to meet the 3 rescue cat boarding in the staff quarters. location was perfect, lovely stroll into both Windermere and Bowness and easy to pick up the bus in front of the cinema.
absolutely nothing, we were sad to leave and keep checking daily for availability for our future holidays.
