Comfortable but shame about the faulty WiFi

Location was virtually a few minutes walk from the bars and great restaurants on Fossgate and easy walking distance to the heart of the City.

The location of where you had to find and collect the keys to the electric gates and entrance to the apartment was an adventure. The instructions to the location was not very clear. We had to ask the local restaurant owner who said "you're the second person to ask this week" so it wasn't just me. Also we were without WiFi throughout our 3 night duration even though Guidance to hand said if encountering problems try switching the power point 'on and off' which we did on quite a few occasions but to no avail. The contact number given for these technical problems when called was not available when we tried to phone during office hours and over the weekend. Not happy!!!

Good area to be in short walk to the shambles and main shops, best thing for me parking on site

Last minute fun packed few days. Great location

Great location: clean, clinical & comfortable. Very secure, full size bath.

Dishwasher over washing machine EVERY time. Lots of rules about parking, none return of parking badge, & threats of fines… not too welcoming

Nice flat and very good location (except for the annoying Italian restaurant next door)

Nice place and very good location in the old city.

The Italian restaurant next door is a nuisance, with staff not showing any consideration to the neighbourhood. I encourage the owner to report them to the local council so that action can be taken to improve the situation.

Location was excellent with secure parking, very near to some lovely restaurants and pubs

The 10 minute parking space to retrieve the keys was occupied on arrival and vehicles didn't move during the whole stay

Loved the location, it was within easy walking distance of the city centre, and some amazing resturants.

No lift, to the appartment (which is on the 3rd floor).

Location was great. Lovely apartment. Comfy. Everything you'd need supplied.

Shower head was broken. Contacted property services, was assured someone would call out to repair. But no one showed up. ! So no shower facilities for duration of stay.

Perfect for a stay in the city.

Everything. Location is perfect. Did not feel like we were in a city as it was so quiet. But close enough to Everything! 10 min walk from yorkminster. Close to shops and restaurants. Very secure gated accommodation.

Nothing all was great. Only downside washing machine was not working but after contact with citylets they sent a person to come and collect my laundry and had it all done and pressed.

Would recommend this to anyone that is custom York by driving

This property is only a 5 minute walk from the city centre and some bars. Perfect location. Also was very easy to find and free secure parking( private spot)

Only downside was being 3 floors upstairs.

Totally enjoyed staying in York , clean and tidy city and well looked after. Lots to see and do.

Excellent central position to explore York on foot.

Someone was parked in the allocated bay when we arrived. There were a lot of warnings about parking in the wrong space so arrival was a little uncomfortable.

The fact that the oven didn’t work so couldn’t cook, the whole point of self catering. parking is also a problem as have to park in short term parking to get and return the keys but people park in them long term and no enforcement

Great location clean, comfortable but no frills

Fab location, really comfortable bed, spacious apartment. good electric heating and facilities in general.

Felt like we were staying in modern student accommodation. No basic toiletries provided ie soap. No tea/coffee/milk. 3rd floor apartment.

Lovely apartment close to the centre of town.

The apartment was well furnished and had everything you could need for a weekend away including that precious free parking spot. Just a few minutes walk brings you right into the centre of York. The apartment is on the 2nd floor and there is no lift, not a problem for us but could be for less mobile. Also as previous reviews mentioned it is a warm apartment. Great over Autumn and Winter. There were fans in the lounge and bedroom but we didn't need to use them. Would definitely stay there again and would recommend. Description and photos are accurate.

The gate fob didn't operate the main gates just the side gate for pedestrians. Fortunately both on arrival and departure another resident was able to let us through so we could park the car up. I did speak with the service team and they said the battery probably needs changing.

Perfect location in the centre of York, easy access to all amenities. Clean and well maintained., the parking is available if needed and secure. Quiet area at night

No hot water between 5 and 6 pm approx, hi usage I immagine but I would use the facility again.

Fantastic apartment in York

The apartment was fantastic, really quiet at night. Comfortable bed and couch. The kitchen had everything needed, other amenities include: washing machine, tender, iron, fans, heater. Everything worked great. The shower was fantastic too!. There are several markets close by and I can say the same for all major city attractions (small city). Keep in mind, no elevator. Not a problem for me, but could be for some people.

Directions to collet the keys weren't entirely precise (at least for me). When you input the address or post code in google maps it doesn't give the exact place or could change the location. Also there are lots of key boxes around. I would recommend to attach some pictures of were the key lock is located (specially the alleyway)

Excellent property in a brilliant location to easily reach all you wish to.

Superb location! Parking was a real bonus. Spacious property for two and everything you need for a comfortable stay.
