The properly is sprawling and very well maintained. Housed on this property is five towers of condos. There is a security gate that checks each and every vehicle that enters. The check in process was fast and easy. We were supplied with a map of the property which helped us to navigate easily. As we would enter our tower (Tower 3), there was always a fresh smell of cleaner. The garage of the tower is covered, so that makes unloading items nice.
Upon entering the condo, there is a sprawling beautiful view of the ocean! The kitchen is spacious and opens up to the living room. There is a half bath to the right when entering the condo. The two bedrooms are located on opposite sides of the condo, each with their own full bathroom and views of the ocean.
The condo was clean, spacious and perfectly located for us! We did not want to stay directly in the middle of all the action, but this was literally only a mile or two away from the center of the boardwalk.
The host, Jonathan, was great at texting me prior to coming, while we were at the condo and also when we departed.
I will definitely be back to stay in this condo!!!

The unit has an amazing view. Unit was well equipped and beautifully decorated. Very clean. We celebrated our parents 60th anniversary with a total of 4 units. Staff was extremely courteous and friendly. I would rent my unit again.

We can’t say enough about this property and our entire experience. From the pre-check communication, to the check-in process, up until it was time to leave… everything exceeded our expectations.
The onsite amenities from food to activities were top notch. There is nothing different we would change about our trip and this location.

This was our forth stay at Portofino and it never disappoints. The space was clean, communication level was perfect- the appropriate number of messages with the right amount of details. Beach view? Prepare to watch the sunrise over the beach & peninsula. Access and proximity to the beach and pools is perfect- not far to the beach at all with a great pedestrian crossing.
Amenities- the restaurants are great as well as the shops and spa.
Arrival and departure is simple and there were no odd owner requests or special instructions.
Highly recommend this rental for anyone looking for a beach spot with all the right perks.

Overall, this is a great spot. You get charged a daily fee to use the facilities, but if you use them, money well spent. Two issues which must be addressed; 1. there is no luggage rack in the property (minor issue I know but for me the first time this has happened to me) and 2. The cleaning crew had not changed the A/C filter in quite some time and it was obvious. The luggage rack is not on the maintenance people so this message is for the owner. The A/C filter was changed immediately. Also, there were dishes in the dishwasher, clean dishes, just not placed in the cabinets. This too was addressed immediately.

Condo was fabulous and just as depicted. View was breathtaking! Easy access to the tower pool and beach as well. Our dishwasher contained dirty dishes (someone had just forgotten to run it) and we were missing a bar of soap, but both issues were easily addressed. Host was very responsive. Would definitely stay here again!

The resort was wonderful and staff across the board were friendly and professional. We especial enjoyed Chee and Michael in the restaurant, and Robin in the spa.

Beautiful condo with terrific views. Easy check-in process with prompt response from Jonathan, which is especially noteworthy given that it was the holiday season. Access to white sandy beach an easy walk across the street, with an indoor pool available for swimming in winter (and other times, I assume). Covered garage parking in base of building. Friendly staff in shops and office. Will definitely return when it’s warmer to enjoy all of the nice amenities!

We had a wonderful stay at Tower III. The views from the balcony are amazing, you can see both the gulf and bay! Everything is closeby, just a short walk to the gym, indoor/outdoor pools, restaurants and tenis courts. The best is the close access to the beach. It was cold for water sports in January but there is plenty to do. Thank you to Jonathan for all your assistance during our stay. Hope to come back soon!

I spent the week of Thanksgiving with my mom at this wonderful condo. I have rented many condos on the beach, but this was MUCH more than a room, it was an experience.
Everything about it was perfect, the staff, the spa, the facilities, the restaurant, and most importantly, THE VIEW! We never turned the TV on, we just watched the waves roll in.
It’s very private; we had a large balcony, and because you can’t see another building, you have a beautiful, unobstructed view. Being on the 16th floor also grants much more privacy. It’s very well built and extremely quiet. I’m a light sleeper, and I never heard a sound.
I think the thing that surprised me most, was that the community was much more cozy than I expected. And every person we met, whether they worked there, lived there, or were vacationing, were incredibly nice.
Not only will I be staying here again (I honestly can’t imagine staying anywhere else), but I’ve already started thinking about buying one in the future.

This was a fantastic spot for a family vacation, especially having two small children. It feels private, secluded, and the luxury of having two bedrooms and two bathrooms allowed everyone to spread out a bit. The view from our room was breathtaking. Waking each day to the sunrise over the gulf knowing we would soon be taking only steps to reach the shoreline was incredible. The resort had our own private pool and hot tub for our tower, as well as larger pools and hot tubs for the entire facility. The multiple restaurants allowed for easy room service when our kids got hungry, and we never had to leave our pool chairs. Wonderful family vacation; we will certainly be returning!

We were traveling with friends from Europe. We liked that both the primary bedroom and 2nd bedroom had unobstructed ocean views and access to the large balcony. Since it was the first property once entering, the walk to the beach was very quick. The main pool area was very nice. Two big pools with view of the bay and there was a gift store, spa and restaurant. Overall we would definitely consider staying here again. The communication with management was great. I was very impressed.

This was our first time visiting Pensacola and it will not be our last! Portofino resort is Florida’s best kept little secret! Our condo was spacious, clean and the view was amazing. There were plenty of things to do at the resort and it was never too crowded on the beach. We are planning to come back next October. Only regret was that we couldn’t stay longer!

The entire facility was really nice with multiple pools, great food and bar service and a really nice work out room. I also really liked all of the activities they had to offer in addition to being fairly close to many other activities. We will definitely be back.

We stayed 2 nights, the views from every room were stunning. The grounds were nice & easy access to the beach. I liked that our building had its own, less crowded pool. The unit had everything we needed for our weekend stay. We will definitely be back!

We had a great stay at the Portofino Resort Condo hosted by Jonathan. It was perfect for a family of four (husband, wife, two girls [6 - 7]).
The listing was accurate, the check-in / check-out process was simple, the condo was spacious and clean. It also had great views of the Gulf facing east off the balcony and through the floor to ceiling windows in all rooms.
The resort is located well past the shopping and restaurant section of the island and was quiet. Even though it was that far east on the island, we were still able to get groceries delivered from the Walmart on the island to the north which was great.
We went in September. It felt like we had the resort, pools, and beach to ourselves.
I would say this was the best VRBO stay we've ever had, hands down.

The condo is stunning. Best views in Pensacola from the balcony. The property was perfect for our family. We ate at least once a day at the pool. Prices are very reasonable. Beach and bay are accessible. Gym is very nice. Our large truck did not fit in parking garage but there is outdoor parking near building. I will book again.

Great condo for my family of 4. Very spacious and tons of kitchen storage which isn’t always the case! Check in process lacked in communication with front desk and cleaning crew but nothing we couldn’t handle. Property adds extra fees on your check out receipt that can be confusing. Everything is under one receipt but some fees are charged to the owner not the renter. I will not hesitate to stay here again!

This condo was a dream! The best views ever and floor to ceiling windows. The best surprise was the master bed being the most comfortable bed we’ve slept in besides our own. The bathrooms were great and even the soaps and shampoo and conditioners we loved! The kitchen has everything you could need. I would recommend bringing your own pool towels. We constantly ran out of towels and got stuck waiting on the wet ones to dry. The only downside was the resort was cashless and we brought all cash and we only found out after leaving all cash for our dinner then left (they charged the room for the dinner and kept money as a tip and we didn’t know until the next day). That was frustrating but had nothing to do with the actual condo or owner! We weathered a storm the first night but we weren’t mad to be trapped in that gorgeous condo. Thanks again and we can’t wait to stay again!

I'll start by saying this is the best property my wife and I have stayed at since we first started visiting Pensacola in the 80s. Fantastic view, tons of space, central to all beaches and close to downtown. We just loved it and we'll definitely come back.
Now.....my one critique. Although the property was very clean, I had a big issue with the pillows of all things. Specifically, it had nothing to do with the comfort level, thickness or anything like that. Instead, multiple pillows smelled like multiple humans had slept on (and sweated into) them for months. Really, really bad. I have a simple suggestion: please monitor both the pillows and pillow cases more consistently and if one of both need replacing, do it immediately.
Anyway, to end on a positive, loved everything else about the property and will definitely return.

Very nice condo and great resort for the whole family. Love the access to jet skis and other motor sports with adventure package. My only complaint is that every towel in our condo smelled like sour laundry. I had to clean washer which was grimy under seals and wash all the towels again. Thankfully they provide 1 detergent packet for a wash.

We enjoyed our stay here very much. The condo, the beach...everything was lovely. Johnathan was a pleasure to work with. If there was a grocery store on the beach and you did not have to pay a toll to come back, this stay would have been a perfect 5 star. Would ABSOLUTELY stay again.
