Very inexpensive and close to Dover.
Beds were terribly uncomfortable and the sheets were stained yellow. Very dusty and the windows were moldy.

Perfect for our family group of 7, with a well equipped kitchen, clean, comfy beds, quiet, spacious living areas & garden. Host responded straight away to provide extra items needed which was much appreciated.

It was fairly central
Creaky floor boards, noisy for the baby. Musty smell. Toilet brushes yucky.

Great location, house had almost everything you would need. Enjoyed the fact that it had a dishwasher and a washing machine.

Great location, 10mins walk into main high street and two streets from beach. Nice large rooms and lovely garden, plus a full size dining room. Big downstairs bath with a separate shower, all super clean. So useful to have a dishwasher too. Great prompt communication from the owners.
A little more seating in living room would be useful, but what’s there is very comfy. My bed was a bit creaky (metal frame which I don’t personally like) but very minor issues!

The welcome pack was appreciated.
Kitchen well equipped and the beds where very comfy. Shower warm and powerful.
The kitchen cupboard doors didn't close properly and the back sliding door was difficult to lock. The upstairs toilet didn't flush that easily.

The location was great for our intended plans and the house made an ideal base for our trip. The town of Deal was a lovely little place to look around (it was easy to walk to the bars and shops from the house) and we tripped easily in the car to places like Margate. The house has plenty of space, and everything is laid out comfortably. The table in the garden got more use during our stay but the dining room was a nice touch compared to some of the holiday houses we've stayed in where most rooms have beds unnecessarily squashed into them and hardly any space for tables etc.
The house itself does not have it's own driveway or off road parking and the road was quite often busy, but we just had to park at the end of it and walk up.

We loved how spacious the home is and comfortable it was for our family of four! It was bigger than expected

very spacious and close to amenities
it’s not that I didn’t like anything about the property, but, the front room was far too small & kitchen could do with an update

We visit Deal regularly to see friends and the location was perfect for us to be able to do so. The house was very clean and well equipped. The host had even left bread , butter and milk which was really appreciated. The beds were comfy. The hosts always answered any questions I had promptly

Location
Parking space but 300 meters away is OK. The cost was the property price but as we ended only 2 instead of 7 planed...... it would be good to come back when no one is taking the same accommodation by the offer of owner's grace

clean, had everything we needed
couldn’t open the bedroom windows

It was clean and comfortable
Hardly any windows opened as they had been painted and were mostly stuck.

Spacious and great value

The size of the property and the facilitates. the location was good for a walk or to get to other places by car. when the weather was wet and windy we went out in the car. the kitchen was well stocked with the usual implements, making cooking easy for people who are used to cooking at home rather than eating out.
the property has sash windows which are a tad drafty on the windiest weekend of the year. the bathroom has a lovely roll top bath and the sink is large but the taps were not easy for my parents to use as they were stiff and could not be fully turned off. the step into and out of the bathroom can be a trip hazard if you are not paying attention.

the house was clean and roomy we were self catering we did not spend time in the house during the day as we were out all day enjoying the sunshine we ate out twice and self catered using the dining room to eat our tea
there was nothing we did not like probably the door bell being rung on friday night when we answered the door no one there this happened twice A washing line would be handy as there were three of us the weather was good we could have dried our washing outside as it was we used the pulley and it dried when we were out

the location was very good - close to the town centre and train station. the house was very comfortable with a nice outdoor seating area. there were lots of helpful tourist leaflets ensuring we had lots of things to do.
the provided kitchen utensils were slightly too small for the amount of people the house accommodates. the downstairs windows did not open which proved uncomfortable in the hot weather.
4.1
Excellent spacious period detached house with four good sized bedrooms, superb dining room, large decking area with nice table/chairs/parasol, well equipped kitchen and accessible Netflix TV. The house was clean and sufficient clean towels and bed linen were in place. The thoughtful hosts had provided fresh bread and milk as well as butter, tea and coffee. The house is well situated for travel around Kent and Deal beach is only five minutes walk away; it is a really nice walk along the seafront from Deal to Walmer and back and this goes past both Deal castle and Walmer castle. Parking is on the same street. We will go back in the future with other family members.
