Perfect location, clean and nice room. Staff extremely helpful and very good value for this time of year at a busy weekend.
Size of the duvet on the bed as it was a Super King size bed (very good) with a double duvet so a bit small but being very picky as excellent stay!

I liked the staff and I liked the view. The room was large but lacked a comfortable chair and there was no desk for my iPad and keyboard.
While the website did mention that some of the stairways would be steep and narrow I felt that what I as a not very agile 74 year old and already suffering from a twisted nerve in my back would have needed to know was that I was going to find the room that another guest (very kindly) gave up for me and, indeed the room I was originally allocated would be totally hopeless. We also missed the bit that said there was no breakfast! Also, for me the car park was too far away and had to be paid for.

Incredible view and sea panorama from the room. Good value deal. Bathroom was large, high quality and lots of good quality shampoo and toiletries. Comfortable spare bed. Good, cold fridge and plentiful tea, coffee sugar and milk. Very quiet in hotel, ideal location for all shops, beach and places to eat.
Nothing really , maybe a couple more toilet rolls (perhaps they were there and we didn't find them).

The location was perfect for an overnight stay as we were playing golf locally. Rooms were clean and comfy. No parking (albeit a local car park was directly behind) and no breakfast option, so possibly priced slightly too high.....but all in all perfect for what we required and i would likely go back if we did the trip again.

No breakfast. The location was great.
More coat hangers would be good. The pillows weren't great.

Beautiful room (we stayed in the Goodwin) with amazing views of the sea. It is beautifully decorated and cosy, the bed is really comfy and it’s very quiet. Very central location and lovely and friendly staff. We would definitely recommend !

The bath in the room was gorgeous!
A nice enough hotel but unfortunately it’s on a very busy road - not obvious in the listing.

Location great, comfortable beds and large towels. Good communication before stay
Self check in and check out felt a bit odd and unwelcoming . Very old building but suspect some rooms better than others . Few finishing touches . No heat in bathroom no switch for towel rad , tv in bedroom no reception. Needed a power shower as low pressure so had to run to get hot water up top. I’d read about cereal and extras but just very basic tea tray and uht milk. Felt a bit unloved and needed a deep clean . Main wall in lounge room damp to touch and dirty glazing and condensation spoiled view of the lovely pier . Functional but not romantic or special .

There were 100s of cobwebs on the windows. Otherwise ok
100s of cobwebs, and I don't mind spiders, but you could see it hadn't been cleaned for ages.

Large well furnished room with great views.
First night room mix up rectified second night but was an error.

Clean, view of the ocean, great place amongst the stores and restaurants in town.

Excellent location, comfy beds, great views
We had to book 2 rooms as we are a family of 5 so it wasn’t the best shared experience. With a bit of a rejig you could get another single bed in the Lighthouse Suite to accommodate larger families.

The location is wonderful and the view was gorgeous. We asked to have a room that could open the windows rather than use air con and they were able to make this happen. We got an upgrade as they had space !
I love not having to wake early and force down a big breakfast - so no breakfast suited us fine.

Accommodation with private entrance. Cleanliness, location.
As with most hotels, no grab rail in the shower. It really helps to keep ones balance especially for those not so mobile. A minor point but offset by the good points.

Excellent stay, missed my first night due to work and was offered a free night, I couldn’t take it but was a lovely offer
Thanks

Nothing
This is not a hotel- it is more like a hostel with terrible codes for each door- tiny rat run corridors. No reception rooms, no lobby. It is an awful place hiding behind the facade of being a hotel. Nothing for over £100 in the way of comforts. This is a stripped out amenity. Hideous double glazing. A tiny supposedly souble room. Small double bed.

Clean and simple accommodation in a nice location. Great that the room had aircon
The bathroom was basic but functional, neither of the TVs worked (no Signal)

Excellent location, no trouble checking in, accessing room etc.
Cobwebs, sun-arctic room on arrival, loud pigeons outside of window, cheap complimentary coffee sachets, odd sliding door leading to bathroom, not actually a double bed, but two singles pushed together with an uncomfortable gap in the middle.

View from room out over the sea.
Nothing.

Excellent location
Online check in was difficult. I had to ring the hotel at least three times to get our access codes.

Liked my room which was quiet as requested and well ventilated. Very comfortable bed
Hated the check in process which seemed unnecessarily complicated and didn’t work well. However lovely woman stayed behind after the desk was closed to make sure I got in ok which was much appreciated

Lovely self contained unit. Well laid out . Own key to front door without disturbing any one.
It felt damp and a bit musty and the drains in bathroom were smelly.

We had a beautiful, newly refurbished room at the front of the hotel opposite the beach. The little extras like Prosecco in the fridge were an unexpected bonus. The staff were very helpful and accommodating. Highly recommended.

the mattress needs changing, the bed was very squeaky noisy when you moved , the carpet needs changing, I could smell the dusty carpet

Great location in the centre of town. Friendly staff.
Good sized room and nice bathroom.
Bed neeeded a new mattress. Condiments left out for customers after 6pm - as no staff present.
