Food was excellent
I should have been informed that there was a Diso on a Saturday with music until00 2am them I would have gone somewhere else

Friendly staff/host. Lovely comfortable and clean room. Complimentary ear plugs (room was above a pub open until 1 am) which really did block out sound. Perfect location for us as we needed Deal town centre and close proximity of the station so you couldn't really get better. Cheap weekend parking behind the hotel in the station car park.
Unfortunately we were right by the main door so our room vibrated every time someone let the door slam and this kept going until at least closing time at 1 am. I guess staying in a pub on a Saturday night you should expect noise. The ear plugs were fab at blocking out the actual noise, but obviously couldn't do anything for the vibrating of the whole room. I'm assuming other rooms might not have had such a big impact. However after 1.30am all was silent.

The room was lovely and clean and the staff were all lovely and friendly . Couldn't have asked for a better perfect location. With everything that we needed. The room was very nice . We had everything we needed hair dryer ironing board and iron . Plenty of tea and coffee supplies. Would definitely stay again .
It's quite near the main road but with the triple glazing you can't hear the traffic. Other than that it was terrific 💯 and the staff were excellent. The price was extremely good.

Radiator in Room 7 wasn’t working well so the room was cold.

The Staff
Single glazing. Window left open on arrival when it was almost below freezing outside. Tried to warm up the room but the radiator was Luke warm even though on highest setting. So the room was very cold all evening and night. I didn’t even warm up whilst in bed!!

Good, central location, nice staff, very clean and well equipped room
Heating not working, way too cold for a paid-for hotel room when there is frost outside the window. WiFi did not work at all in the room. Room was not serviced at all during our 2 night stay. No facility for breakfast/food before pub opening at 12, (to be fair breakfast was not offered in the advert, it is mentioned in many reviews)

Rooms are nice and it is a good location despite no parking
This property does give you a warning they have late night entertainment on weekends AFTER booking, HOWEVER the noise is unbearable and I don’t think this ‘hotel’ should be allowed to let these rooms out during the times of a dj playing as it’s not possible to get to sleep unless your completely deaf! NEVER AGAIN

Location was good, the room was clean. Check in & out was easy.
Don't stay if you're a light sleeper. On the weekends the place turns into a club like venue and music is played until 2am. They underplay the "light" thumping sound but it's super audible like you're at the party between the wall. Our shower was broken so the shower head wouldn't stay up.

Located close to the sea.
Breakfast was excellent.
Staff was very friendly and accommodating.
This location is great for stag and hen parties, not for people who actually need some sleep or want some romance.
The bed was too short, if you're over 1.70 part of your feet will dangle over the end.
The shower was depressing, little water, couldn't get it warm.
Toilet flushed once every 8 tries.
The noise from the pub is real. We were on a quiet day and had to wait until they closed to get some sleep, though they have taken every precaution, including double windows and free earplugs.
View from the window on the machineries outside. Couldn't open the window very far, making the room very hot, but there is a fan in the room.

Location is good, breakfast ok, no on site parking, park by the railway station and pay
Karaoke on a thursday night can be heard in the bedrooms loud and until midnight, on friday and Saturday evenings they have disco's which go on until 2am and you will hear the music in the bedrooms

Great location, lovely and attentive staff. Room was modern and clean and the bed was really comfortable.
Obviously it was noisy (which we fully expected and had no issue with). They kindly provided ear plugs and we both actually slept really well.

Breakfasts were good, staff good,
not clear what sort of parking was available, had to source that myself on arrival, room not serviced for the second night, rather tired looking rooms and pub. Overpriced for what it is...

Friendly, clean and it hands down was the best cooked breakfast I have had in many years. It reminded me of my late Mum's famous breakfasts and I'm telling you that is saying something.
So many places do not pay attention to how the breakfast is cooked and the result is a very moderate meal indeed. But the breakfasts I had were splendid. Hash browns that were perfectly crunchy on the outside like roast potatoes, carefully cut and cooked properly mushrooms, a beautifully poached egg, and properly cooked sausages and bacon. Oh and then there was the toast. That's how to do the toast. Gorgeous toast. I was so impressed because I travel frequently and just lament the loss of skilfully cooked breakfasts. So here was like they used to be cooked. I was so impressed that I asked for the name of the chef. She was called Mel. Please let her know she is doing it right, so right.
I was so impressed by all of it. I was a bit grumpy with the bar manager but she remained so professional and polite. The young man Tommy who runs the place impressed me immensely too. There's a bit of a buzz about the place. It feels good.

Bed was comfy and good location close to Deal beach. Good tea and coffee facilities.
Breakfast was really poor. I ordered crushed avocado on crumpets with a poached egg and the egg was rock hard, avocado not crushed just a few slices and the crumpets stale. The flavours did not go well together.
The place is advertised to have loud music until 2am on Saturdays and they do supply ear plugs but our room looked out onto the smoking area so as well as the music from the venue downstairs the outside area was also very loud until 2am. We had the windows open because of how warm it was but couldn’t keep them open as it was so loud/ the smell of cigarette smoke floated in so the venue should definitely consider installing air con.

Good location for an evening out. Room was functional and as described
Very drafty/cold although heaters provided. Monday evening and still loud music, despite the pub being next to empty, clearly audible in the room.

good sized rooms. over a pub.
carpet hadn’t been vaccumed
1.0 / 5.0
Good location
Got an email after booking to say there may be some noise because there was a DJ playing. Nothing could prepare me for the sheer volume, and despite providing earplugs, the noise was unbelievable. Absolutely no way you should be having people stay who aren't at the event.
