Duck Cottage is a welcoming place to return to - felt like coming home.

Being able to get the key from the box by the door. Place being very clean and milk, cake, etc being left for me.

A full length mirror somewhere!

Great place to stay..

It's an absolutely lovely little place to stay.. nice size rooms with everything you need.. Ideal location to town centre. Parking outside property.. Lots of places to eat and nice little shops..

We loved our stay at Duck Cottage it was perfect didn't want to leave

The location was great so close to everything the welcome pack was a lovely touch the cottage was so cosy it had everything you need we loved it

Everything we needed.

Fantastic location. Easy walk to centre of Thirsk. Well equipped and comfortable. Bread and milk appreciated. Parking out the front was easy.

Stairs to bedroom and bathroom are steep. May not be suitable for everyone.

Excellent location literally in the middle of Thirsk, near plenty of Pubs and restaurants, and only 20 mins away from Sutton Bank for walking.

Great cosy cottage, spotlessly presented and ideally located to explore this part of Yorkshire dales

Great location ... just off the market square but nestled in next to stream teeming with ducks. Lovely for a stroll. Compact cottage but all you need for a weekend break. Herriot museum just a few hundred yards away. Easy access to local towns and villages (Ripon, York, Harrogate, Richmond) so plenty on the doorstep. Also surrounded by beautiful countryside. Plentu of books and board games if you fancy a quiet night in.

We loved absolutely everything about the cottage! It was extremely well equipped with everything we needed and so much more! The decor was beautiful, it was exceptionally clean and the beds were super comfy! Location was perfect within the town and parking permit a great bonus!

After a disastrous stay at the Golden Fleece in July. This was the opposite a pleasant place to stay

location was perfect, Cottage was cosey & clean

understand cottage is small perhaps a small dishwasher and a tv in bedrooms would have been nice. I know there was free parking but it's a shame you can't park in the courtyard like everyone else in that area.

A perfect cosy retreat

The cottage was lovely and cozy with everything you could want. A few minutes walk from the centre of Thirsk and convenient parking included. We loved our stay and hope to return soon.

Enjoyable short break, can't wait to do it again

Duck Cottage was clean, well equipped and comfortable. We chose it because the location was central to the areas we wanted to visit. We had a fabulous few days and would definitely recommend.

Lovely cottage to relax in

Location was excellent. Exactly as described. The cottage was spotlessly clean with a well equipped kitchen. Perfect for a couple or small family.
