Lovely weekend in a very pleasant property

The property was beautifully decorated, clean and very comfortable. The owner was available if needed but did not intrude which was nice to know. The location was perfect for shops, restaurants and travel.

A lovely short break

The apartment was easily accessible by train and car. It was a short walking distance from the beautiful village with access to local amenities, restaurants etc..The apartment was presented to an excellent standard, spacious and beautifully clean. The host ensured that key information was communicated ahead of our stay, including suggestions of places of interest to visit.

Loved the apartment and beautiful garden. Would easily return and recommend the property.

Situated in a quiet village location but a good base for travelling to other areas. On site parking was available. Karren done a great job of hosting us and was very friendly and approachable.

Didn't have any issues but less mobile visitors may have not liked using the external stairs.

Flat is super clean and well-equipped with period charm and comfortable beds. Feels like a home.

Only gripe was opening key safe was physically difficult - made worse by the fact that it was raining heavily at the time.

Excellent perfect apartment and location

Beautiful spacious apartment, very comfortable beds . The whole apartment was spotlessly clean and decor excellent. The host Karen was on site for any questions a lovely friendly lady. Angmering is a lovely little village few shops and a couple of pubs walking distance from the apartment. We will definitely be back .

Lovely place, helpful host. hopefully i'll be back there before too long

very comfortable, nice quiet area in a characterful village. everything else I wanted was just a few minutes drive away. Friendly host close at hand too.

a small freezer compartment in the fridge would have been handy for my purposes

Exactly what I needed as a couple of days detox away from the world!

This is a true little gem. Once I had gotten comfortable with where everything was it was very simple to get in and out of the property and the offroad parking (if a little tight but no real trouble if you go slow!) was an absolute bonus especially as someone who is anxious. I appreciate knowing my little car was safe! Karren was the perfect host, checking to see if I was settled in well and being very helpful for providing local knowledge and recommendations. She also came by before I left to say goodbye and said I could use the garden if I liked. The garden was beautiful and if the weather had been nicer I would have liked to read out there for an hour or two but as it was I was quite happy to do my reading in the wonderful living room! Wifi was excellent, I even managed to catch the better part of a live stream on my phone (3 hours on Twitch for those who watch streams! Signal was mostly fine with some buffering but not too worrisome). You have full access to facilities including a small fridge, microwave toaster and oven which is easy to use. The television is also easy to use, I only had it on for a couple of hours one evening but very nice! And the shower is simple and quick to heat up. Beds and pillows are very comfortable and bedrooms are spacious (I personally stayed in the front bedroom) with lots of storage for if you are staying a little longer. The apartment itself is also nicely quiet and you really don't feel like you are along a road at all. There is a co-op less than 5 minutes walk down the road - perfect!

The only thing I'm a little sad about was I didn't get to experience the breakfast which would have been offered looking at the lovely plaque but is not because of the current COVID restrictions and guidelines. Totally understandable so really no complaints at all!

Perfectly pleasant flat

Nice modern flat with good facilities. Everything worked and was clean and in good order.

Off road parking a little tight if you have a family sized car due to narrow stone pillars. Perhaps a few less of the "Live, Laugh, Love" type things around the flat would be a bonus.

Excellent stay and I would very happily come again.

Beautifully presented apartment with whimsical and romantic details. Calm and peaceful atmosphere, warm and very comfortable - especially the beds - I slept so well!

A clean and comfortable apartment in a quiet locaton close to local amenities.

Very clean and comfortable. Friendly and helpful host. Quiet location. There was parking available, off road.

The kitchen was a little small.

Wonderfully comfortable, cosy and clean with super-friendly host

Karren is the most wonderful host. Everything is well organised and the apartment is beautifully clean and cosy. We were self-isolating after arrival in the UK and we were able to use the garden for exercise and remain completely isolated. The apartment is spacious for 2 people and very cosy. If we weren't in isolation, it would have provided the ideal location for the local village and it's pubs. Cannot recommend this apartment highly enough.
