Very relaxing

The bed was really comfy.....the host was lovely.....the hot tub a real treat!

A really minor thing, the sofa was a little uncomfortable but everything else was fabulous.

Nice location generally a comfortable lodge

As from previous reviews the sofa is uncomfortable especially if you’re indoors most of the time due to the weather. Needs positioning facing the tv although that’s down to the individuals. Again as previously mentioned the sink is too small but understand that space is at a premium.

Perfect little getaway

Gorgeous little home just outside Arundel. Lovely decor. Very clean. Beautiful views and the hot tub was brilliant! Oven as well as toaster and coffee machine etc so all very well equipped.

The only tiny thing was a slight smell of drains in the bathroom but it was spotless so we can't really complain!

Everything, amazing little find. Fantastic view, really peaceful, watch the sunset from the hot tub, really comfy bed. Also lovely touch of bottle of fizz and chocolates. We will be back.

A most relaxing & tranquil place to rest & recuperate

The owners had fully listened to past comments and there was a bread knife there for me this time. The place is so quiet & relaxing & watching the bats flit about during late evening was another bonus.

That I didn't have the opportunity to make full use of the jacuzzi on this visit.....but defo hope to on me next!!!

A wonderful evening in a hidden away corner with a beautiful view.

The beautiful peaceful location and hot tub. And a very comfy bed. Also, it was my birthday and the lovely hosts decorated the room and left me some bubbly. It was such a treat.

It was perfect except we were woken up early by building work on site.

Excellent one bedroom lodge on the outskirts of Arundel

The property is close to the town of Arundel with its amazing Castle and Catherdal as well as the River Arun itself. Its in a nice rural setting with views across the countryside. The property has plenty of space for two people and has a well appointed kitchen. The best feature however is the decking to the rear of the property with its own sunken hot tub, great for relaxing after a busy day of sightseeing

The property is right next to a busy road, which may bother some people. In order to get into Arundel you have to go over a rail crossing and there are lots of trains and the wait can be quite long if you get your timing wrong so plan ahead

Good facilities but some issues

All of the property, including the hot tub, was clean and tidy. Good facilities for a few nights away. 5min walk to Ford railway station.

Road noise was significant and kept me awake at night. The view from the hot tub was of a building site. We were told on arrival that some soil was being delivered by lorries (not a problem, only lasted 1 hour) but was surprised the view of the building site was not mentioned or an apology given. There was a 'screen' for the glass fence around the decking but this only extended about 1 metre so did not obscure the view at all. If I was to return I would book the cabin instead, possibly after the building work has been completed.

Such a perfect get away

The lodge was lovely, such a perfect place for a get away, me and my friend had a great time, we enjoyed relaxing in the hot tub with stunning views, the hosts were so friendly, I couldn’t of asked for more! Can’t wait to come back again soon! Thank you so much
