Very good, fair value and we would return if we ever go back to Stratford.

Our host was very welcoming and attentive which was much appreciated; breakfast was good and the beds were comfortable and the bathrooms clean. I was particularly pleased when, having noticed I struggled a bit with a top floor room (through my age and creaking joints I hasten to add) he moved us down to a more easily accessible room. Parking was easy too which is a bonus in Stratford even though we were within easy walking distance (even for me) of the town centre. We would definitely go there again.

I wasn’t very fond of the steep narrow staircase to the top room and personally I like my bacon a little less cooked but these are niggles which should not put one off.

Good central place. Very easy walk into town. Comfortable bed and lovely breakfast. Informative host. Would stay again.

The location, breakfast, comfort and the property were excellent.

Just 2 things: 1 The shower cubicle was smaller than we are used to 2 The breakfast time was narrower (08.00 - 08.45) and earlier than we would have preferred

Great first visit

The bed was comfortable, the breakfast was very good, it was very well situated to get into the town just a few minutes walk away and the owner very friendly.

The shower in our room was very small and my husband who is tall and broad could not use this facility. The heating was also on at different times which made it very warm in the room and you could not adjust the radiator.

Comfortable guesthouse in a great location for exploring Stratford upon Avon. The host Tim gave us plenty of ideas when it came to exploring the area. It was good to have included parking and the breakfast gave us a good start to the day

Rooms and facilities were very clean and exactly what we wanted. Breakfast was lovely and relaxed and the hosts were fantastic. Would definitely stay at Virginia Lodge again.
