The staff were friendly. Location for tower good. Bacon at breakfast was good.
The cleanliness of the room was terrible. The beds were uncomfortable, you could feel every spring. The bedding was marked and stained. There was dust and hair on skirting, no lamp, hook on door broken so nowhere to put coats. The family sized room had no seating and was tiny. Carpet was dusty and stained, walls needing a paint.
The shower room was tiny, door wouldn't close, mould at shower. You could hear people talking in other rooms, creaky floorboards above. The smell throughout was very stale and musty. Staff were friendly but you heard them shrieking and shouting whilst out back at kitchen area, smoking from 7am.
Breakfast was buffet, frozen sausages, eggs had been sat a long time. Overall edible. Didn't bother on second day with breakfast.
£5 per day parking. Some noise in street at night.

The hotel was clean and friendly & facilities in the rooms were good with comfy bed, clean & quality carpets, new bathroom facilities, and quiet. Bar, lounge and eating area all newly updated with dartboard & pool table. Nice breakfast with friendly greeting from staff. Would stay here again.

Staff were friendly but professional & nothing was too much trouble. Thank you!
B&Bs opposite us were unmanned & the noise & disruption meant we couldn't get an uninterrupted night's sleep. Not a great street for families as there was trouble outside each night we stayed so left going home exhausted. Shame as our hotel & staff were excellent.

It wasnt far from tower &main strip
Rooms were very outdated and carpets looked like they hadnt bern cleaned in months there was marks on sides off beds and one bed was shoved in a small corner where the bathroom door opened up to and we were right up in the roof off house (46 stairs & 4 landings acording to my kids ) not good for me with my sciatica the man there seemed drunk all time the 2 ladys in morning spoke to you and gave out breakfast not worth what we paid ive stayed in better and cleaner for less

Breakfast was good, the dining area is nice as is the lounge bar area also nice seating outside at the rear of the hotel. Nice soft white towels and the bed was very comfy also the hotel is very clean. The staff are friendly and helpful. A big plus is the parking in front of the hotel.
The music in the hotel was loud although we did not mind it on the first evening but the second evening it was very late. The noise and commotion from the properties opposite was awful and, it went on until 2.30 am one evening. The metal shutters on the corner shop were kicked late at night. Did not sleep well and the atmosphere was quite worrying.

we got upgraded which was great but when we got into the room the floor in the bathroom flexed that much it was like it could collapse under you.The shower door was loose and needed slamming to shut it also the tv was very small for the price you pay.Breakfast was served by staff but very small portions and you could only go up once again not great for the price
