The entertainment was excellent. Buddy Lee was an amazing compere.
The food was delicious.
The staff were very helpful and very courteous.
The lift was out and there was a lot of stairs to get to the second floor.
My husband has trouble with his knees and struggled getting up and down.
The heating in the room wasnt good and we are still waiting for someone to come and look at it.

Everything was great went for my friends 83 birthday, but was spoiled by one of the staff in the function room on the day of Harry’s birthday, she was the bar manager & ruined the night with her cocky attitude I think she was polish , won’t be returning harry has been going with his wife for 20 years, but sadly passed away last year 😠
4.5

The staff are good also
The lift is very old but so is the hotel.

Entertainment was good and Buddy Lee great! The clubhouse was a good place to get to know people and have fun. Good choice in foods and drinks at hotel. Staff are lovely in bar and dining room.
Room filthy. Had to take kettle and mugs to reception to complain how dirty they were. Reception staff replaced them right away. Shower either scalding hot or freezing cold. Reported it to reception, who said they'd get it sorted that day, but it was not done. Went 3 days without a shower or washing my hair. Cleaner came in to clean, shed used a wet bleached cloth on all previous rooms and it left pubes everywhere. We actually stood and watched her do it. The carpets are knackered throughout the hotel. Housekeeping standards have slipped drastically and need addressing. Fire doors need soft close hinges as they constantly bang with people opening them at all hours, which interrupts sleep. Coffee machine for dining room needs updating or re brand drinks as the coffee latte is just awful. Went out and bought a jar of coffee. Tea bags are cheap and awful. TIP. take own coffee and tea bags!

The food is lovely. plenty of choice. excellent value. We always do bed breakfast and evening meal. The entertainment is fabulous. Buddy is so funny! We enjoyed it immensely. The-staff are lovely, nothing too much trouble.
The rooms are very tired and could do with a revamp. There were deep stains in the toilet and no toilet brush. towel rail fell off in the bathroom. T. v was good but really small. Could do with more sockets in rooms.

How people have to get their own tea and coffee. it’s caused chaos.

The entertainment, and the food were top notch
The lifts were out of order and have been for a few months, which was a big problem for my disabled husband, and the hotel is looking very tired and is in need of a refurbishment.

I like the food, staff and entertainment, especially Buddy Lee.
No lift, brew no brew machine, no scrambled egg and toaster too fierce, hence burnt yoast.
Comedians need to change their material, especially Terry Cotta.

All inclusive break, excellent value for money. Our 4th stay here and can't fault it. The staff are fabulous and very friendly/ helpful. The entertainment as always was superb. Paul who works on the bar deserves a slot on stage for comedy act, the banter he has with Buddy Lee was hilarious.
Only slight negative as all inclusive wine is served in 125ml measures, I appreciate they don't offer doubles bar on spirits on break but at least serve 175ml glass.
