Good breakfast but some cheese would have been nice
Noisy music at night from the pier
3.0 / 10.0
I liked how close it was to the train station and tram station too.
I didn’t like the fact that the windows weren’t working so the second double glazed window (sliding ones) 1 was broken and my autistic daughter was asleep so couldn’t leave her in the room or ring reception as it would of woke her up and she was already over stimulated from the days events, the window should of been looked at before we entered the room. No air conditioner or fan, I couldn’t even open the windows slightly to let a bit of air into the room, and the bed was so uncomfortable I barely slept a wink all night I was so tired.

We where a little bit unsure about staying here after reading the reviews.
But we where more than happy with our room and the hotel.
The bed was very comfy and even though we had a sea room and stayed on new years eve you couldn't really hear the noise for the street.
The room offers aircon if needed (obviously, we didn't need it with it being december)
a little heater
a hair dryer
Shower gel/ shampoo
We paid £140 odd for 2 nights (30th Dec to 1st jan) and would 10000% stay again
😀
Nope it was spot on

Been before, you pay for what you get, reception and a small dining room, but Location, Location, Location.
They are upgrading the building, and unfortunately there was a "funny" smell in bathroom. Informed staff, she was very apologetic and said she would put a note on my account.

Not a lot
Cleanliness below par, window dirty on inside and mould on some if the grouting in shower. Booked a 2 night stay but on retutning to hotel after day out key cards did not work. Per computer we were only booked for one night.

Price, location, simplicity
TV not working. Was offered another room but declined as only stayed one night.

Very little
Having to pay £2 for leaving our 2 suitcases behind the counter was disappointing. Having only one bath towel was disappointing as was the TV handset not working. Also having to pay £19 to park our car was a negative shock.

Beautiful room comfy bed great location for bars and food stayed a few times and would stay again
There was nothing I didn't like
4.0 / 10.0
Location is brilliant, close to all the bars, amusements and shops.
The overall cleanliness of the hotel wasn't great, room was OK but very cold. There was a heater in there but it didn't seem to work. Breakfast was rubbish, cereals, toast, and a poor effort of scrambled egg, boiled egg and beans for the hot selection. If you wanted a full English then your not going to get one.
4.0 / 10.0
The location is good, it's right opposite the north pier and there's lots of pubs and clubs nearby
Room smelt like rotten sewerage. Dirty cup and spoon with sugar still on it. Brown stain on the carpet. Receptionist miserable. Yes it's cheap but that shouldn't mean dirty.
