Great location, great price, helpful staff. This is the second time I’ve been to Cheers in 6 weeks. The first time myself and my partner came for the fireworks and had a lovely stay with a basic but well equipped room. Second time, we brought the kids, one of which is autistic and we had the family room which was more spacious than I expected, comfortable beds, clean and even got a view of the tower which my son was happy about. We have stayed in numerous hotels and b&b’s in Blackpool over the last few years and to date this is the favourite and only one we’ve come to more than once. Thinking about coming back for the Christmas events too!

Location
Restricted headroom in the room, wouldn’t have booked had we known we were in the eaves as one traveller was well over 6ft and had to kneel down to get in to bed

Location was brilliant
No hot water from sink or shower, only hot water from the bath.
One of the mattresses had sunk in the middle leaving my boyfriend with a bad back. Also bar was shut so couldn’t even get a drink.

The location was great, check-in and out were very easy. The room was very clean and spacious enough for two.
Unfortunately, the shower didn’t work properly, it was either boiling hot or freezing cold and had very little pressure. We ended up having to use the bath which worked fine but wasn’t ideal.
3.4
Good location, and nice bathrooms, reasonable price and good for groups who want to share a room.
The twin room was moldy and the skylight window leaked in the big room on the top floor so one of the beds was unusable and we had to squeeze 3 people into a queen size bed, don't book this room if you have mobility issues because there is loads of steps upto it.

The twin room was small but clean with a decent bathroom. The beds were comfortable and the bedding was spotless. It was more than adequate for an overnight visit for a sporting fixture and I would have no hesitation in recommending this hotel within its price range.

We stayed on New Years Eve for a party at the Winter Gardens. The location was excellent, the area at the rear of the Houndshill Shopping centre (close by) was tired and shabby. The manager was very welcoming and helpful. We didn't have breakfast as there were plenty of options nearby. All the rooms were £90 p.n.
The only free parking is in 5 bays outside the property that were permanently filled. Closest was the shopping centre car park which is £12 for 24hrs and is very busy. The room was very basic, the bed was comfy but old, but the linen was clean and comfy. The bathroom was shabby. There was a whirlpool, bath with no whirl, not sure it ever worked as there were no controls. All the filler around the bath and fixtures was flaked, missing, and dirty. The water was tepid for a bath and the shower ran for 5 mins but never went over an icy cold. All in all tired, a little dirty in the bathroom, and small.

room was cold

Pictures very misleading. The entrance is pretty appalling. It's like your entering above a cafe.
The rooms were cold and only an electric heater was provided that had to stay on the floor.
The windows were absolutely shocking the draft and the the noise they let in was absolutely terrible.
We heard every car every conversation every firework Every police car.
The room, the carpet was carpet glued on top of carpet. The walls were fillered and not painted, the double bed was more of a small double and it was a very hard matress.
I understand I paid £54 but the noise and the draft, we nearly left at 3 am.
Unfortunate.

The location was brilliant; 5 minutes walk to many Blackpool’s attractions.
It was very clean and fit to purpose. The owner Freddie was pleasant, helpful and also informative.
The price was excellent. I do recommend this hotel with confidence.
All was good

Great location easy walk to town. Comfortable room with a big spacious bath.
Given a room marked "private" on the door the other guests assumed it was the owners and began knocking at 7:30am to check out. 3 times this happened

Nothing would definitely not recommend this hotel
No interaction with hotelier only on arrival and told us to go to cafe next door as he couldn't be bothered to do us one we were 5 middle age ladies age between 57-65 we had to climb 4 lots of stair as we were put it the attic the beams were exposed and numerous times we banged our heads no hot water in tap windows were filthy and no milk in the morning for a drink and when we knocked on the door at least 3 times there was no one available I think £135 for 1 night here was extortionate

Location and peacefulness..
Bin never emptied. Tea and coffee never replenished. Had to ask for clean towels.

The guy who met us was pleasant. I was there on a Stag do, so can't make much of an assessment.
As I said in the "What did you like". I didn't spend much time in the hotel, so wasn't much I could assess. Did have an issue with the floor entering the en-suite (felt like there was a hole in the floor under the carpet) didn't cause an issue though. But it's a budget hotel. If you want luxury then PAY for it.

The owner was lovely and really friendly. The room was really clean couldn't of been cleaner. Beds where really comfortable
Tv was hard to see from the double bed but cam understand it would be hard to have it some where for everyone to see. Maybe a move able bracket would be good.
Wish the owner had told us about the bar and access to breakfast when we checked in. We didn't realise till it was to late.
These are not dislikes as it was great value for money just things I would of liked.
Would definitely stay again xx
