Byli jsme v tomto malém milém hotýlku ubytováni již podruhé, na naší cestě po Anglii je to vždy velmi příjemná zastávka. Hotel má mimořádně příjemný a ochotný personál, naprosto skvělou restauraci s prvotřídní a vynikající kuchyní a romantické kouzlo staré Anglie. Pokoje jsou pohodlné, vkusně zařízené v tradičním staroanglickém stylu. Příští rok se opět vrátíme a děkujeme všem za péči o nás během pobytu. Lucie a Tomas

Loved the location and the Inn in general.
Breakfast and dinner is exceptional! Quality of the food is second to none.
Room was lovely, the bedroom and the ensuite was very spacious.
Really nice high quality tea and coffee facilities in the room.
Good WiFi connection.
All of the staff here are very friendly and professional.
The bed was a double and so was a bit on the small side for the two of us.

Warm welcome and great staff - nothing was too much trouble.
Room huge and decor in the French style.
Despite being on quiet country roadside we slept well. Guest welcome tray was full of a variety teas/coffee etc along with fridge contains fresh milk and water.
Bathroom welcoming too with lovely shower/ hair products.
Breakfast delicious and again beautifully cooked and presented — produce sourced from local suppliers
We booked dinner prior to our visit as the restaurant is obviously very popular.
Our dinner was delicious, beautifully presented and of a very high standard - a real treat .
Very much look forward to returning one day.

Great big bedroom with beautiful French style bed. Ensuite had bath which had plenty of hot water. Lovely little touches with herbal tea bags and teapot and cafetiere for fresh coffee. Fresh milk in fridge. Food was fabulous so we stayed for breakfast which was well worth the £15. Would def make a point of staying here again if in the area.
Road noise was there but not overly so. Parking had stones - not great for motorcycle parking but really struggling to find any negatives.

Staff were very welcoming. Room was comfortable and warm with a spacious bathroom. Food was excellent, both evening meal and the breakfast, and there was a well stocked bar.
Only slight negative was that the view from our room was mainly of the road rather than Dartmoor. But we were aware of this when we booked so no real issues.

Firstly and foremost the staff were delightful in every way. We arrived early and our room was ready. We were upgraded to the king. A spacious room, very clean, super comfy bed. We had booked for dinner and so pleased we did as it was really busy with local customers. That’s always a good sign. We were not disappointed. Just fabulous food. The decor and atmosphere of this pub was just wonderful.
I really don’t want to have a negative as everything else was just wonderful but the proximity of the road just made it noisier at night.

Couple of glitches with plumbing and power sockets quickly attended to.
