Staff friendly & very helpful couldn't do enough. Food excellent

Room was very warm, air conditioning didn't really seem effective. No shower mat so used towel to ensure didn't slip. Only 1 bedside table between 2 beds, lamp only accessible from one side. Nowhere to put cases at level to open & unpack

Excellent - would definitely come back.

Excellent property. Huge and comfy bed. Brilliant breakfast. Young staff were professional and extremely polite (a credit to the owners and the establishment).

The main road was a little noisy but was fine later at night/early morning.

Wonderful food but the room was too noisy for us.

The food! Was absolutely amazing and I would come back for this again and again! The staff were also really friendly. The location is very accessible too.

The room was really noisy. It was next to some kind of ventilation and this was on until about 9pm then there was a fair amount of banging noises somewhere below the room. We also ordered a breakfast to have in the room but this was never delivered.

The staff were warm and friendly with a great sense of humour, eager to assist to make sure we were comfortable. Excellent variety of food. The room was just right for an overnight business trip. Will definitely book again if needed. A great stay

Excellent! Sparkling clean! Excellent food!

Liked everything. Very comfy beds. Very clean rooms and beddings. The food is so tasty. My son absolutely loved the smokey ham, eggs and chips. He rated 10 out of 10

Everything we needed for our short one night stay

Friendly, warm welcome, even though we were very late arriving. Nice, clean, comfy room which gave a good nights rest and then a fantastic, fresh cooked breakfast to send us on our way

Positive 'can do' attitude of all staff

Breakfast not available until 0900 - too late for business travellers BUT on day one a lunch sandwich was offered and on day two a take-away bacon sandwich - both excellent and demonstrated a desire to keep me happy - mission accomplished!

Best breakfast ever, fresh ingredients, Steve and the staff were brilliant, nothing was to much for them , always friendly.

Fabulous place!

Nothing was too much trouble for the staff. Our towels were damp and the staff changed them straight away. The food was great and the restaurant was cosy. The staff even gave us a lift to our party when we couldn’t get a taxi 😃

We enjoyed our stay at the Sugarbeat eating house and it met our expectations for the price we paid.

Our room was comfortable, warm and well decorated. The shower worked really well. There was plenty of tea and coffee and there was fresh milk to use in the mini fridge. Breakfast was from a menu, rather than self-service, and we could choose from a range of things on the menu. The quality of the cooked breakfast was really good and it came with a good pot of tea. Table service was prompt and friendly.

Whilst the cooked breakfast was really good, and suited what we wanted to have, we were rather limited in what we could have extra within the allowed cost. So for example fresh fruit salad and/or yogurt and/or cereal on top of the cooked breakfast would probably have cost more. That said, the hotel was flexible, to a degree, in allowing small extras.

Good place to stay for walking and visiting Norwich.

Good parking, well lit. fridge in room with fresh milk and drinking water. bed comfortable.

carpet from carpark side door to the bedroom and stairs rather tired and soiled. No chairs in bedroom. En-suite towel radiator not heated/turned on. Staff advised it would be turned on.
