Comfy beds, comfy lounge area. Quiet at night. Good breakfast. Good location; not too far from the centre, 15 mins walk from Ulster museum.
Shower power was poor.
Breakfast area was always lacking teaspoons!

It was clean and comfortable
It said’Free Parking’ yeah if you want to leave your car on a dodgy street overnight. The parking lot didn’t look much safer and cost £17.95 for one night and is two blocks from the hotel

Liked the little extra touches in the room. Dressing robes/slippers, fridge with drinks and chocolates. We had a lovely stay.
There was nothing we didn't like about the Clayton.

Fab central location, lovely breakfast, spacious comfortable room.
Temperature button in the shower didn’t work.

Location suits me
I looked up what a 4 star hotel provides and this hotel does not meet any of those standards. E.g Towels are grey, one was frayed around the edges. The room was definitely 3 star. Room was not updated the 2nd day. We paid for two individual days so we should have received 4 star treatment for EACH day.

Close to restaurants and bars
Mould in shower and on curtains.
Window latch broken so we heard traffic noise and the whistle of wind all night.
Bath tub showers are unsanitary and a hazard.
No fridge.
Hair left in bathroom from previous people.
No parking

kettle in room, central enough
I booked this room for a treat! I was all by myself and quite upset that i had paid 109 for a room that had a wild draft coming through my window and it fully closed!! The net curtain was being blew about :( I turned up my thermostat but it made no difference! The wall paper was peeling from the floor up also. I told the receptionist when she asked did I enjoy my stay she just said a short sorry no empathy which was quite disappointing. no parking is a let down too.

The location is absolutely brilliant, right in the centre. There's restaurants close by and weatherspoons is 2mins away for a cheaper breakfast.
St George's Market is a quick 10min walk and the hop on off bus is about 6mins away too. The beds are super super comfortable and the staff are very helpful. I was offered a new room when I called with my issues. It's a nice comfortable hotel and despite some issues I'd stay again.
The heating in the room wasn't easy to work and the only time it did work was when I got the staff to switch it on from the mains. It was blowing cold air out so room was very cold and wall heater is broken. Bathroom is a bit grubby too.
I ordered the birthday package for when we arrived and only 2 out of the 3 items I paid for were there bit I was still charged for all 3.
There was a really dirty and dusty wall and skirting board between our beds. The rooms are cleaned really late on...not at all if you don't hang a sign on the door. The isn't a 'city view' it's just a building directly opposite so no view.
2.5
Location excellent, staff great, extremely friendly, especially doorman, if only I got his name, very tall, chatty and extremely caring
We stayed room 401, bed lovely and comfortable, bathroom other story, the smell was horrific when turned the sink taps on, or showered, extremely unpleasant which radiated to the room, u need to look at unblocking/the water system we had to leave the windows open due to this horrible smell in February, hence v cold

It is a good location. The room were very spacious and clean
The only small issue is that I would prefer a shower enclosure to a bath

Staff very friendly and very helpful
Room was freezing cold in frosty weather. Wall heater blew cold air. Staff tried to fix twice, and then after midnight I was offered an alternative room, but it was too late to move, fully unpacked. Was given additional quilt. I was also really disappointed the leisure facilities were not available.

friendliness of staff at reception..location of hotel.nice overall feel to the hotel and bar and restaurant areas..room comfortable and importantly no noise from the adjoining rooms
on arrival needed nap due to early start..when pulled cover to bed down had a medium sized rip in sheet right where you would sleep..not sure how this had been missed by the hospitality staff..reported and new sheet bought to room straight away...couple small bits of debris on floor near bed so would not consider it spotless.
also we were allocated room 707 now this had an excessively noisy air con unit in the hall area which was loud..i think we were under the main air flow unit on the roof and this is the only explanation i can think of as to why it was so loud..we reported it the next morning and was asked if we wanted to move rooms..we declined as i hate moving once settled in..moving all your stuff etc and as we had been upgraded i wanted to stay where we had quiet neighbours..luckily we both had ear plugs which helped alleviate the noise and we were out during the day and evenings..honestly though i am not sure anyone should be allocated that room as the noise from the unit was the loudest i have experienced in any hotel room..shame as we always enjoy our stay with you..this is our second year and we plan on staying with you again next year as on the whole we like staying at the Clayton

So close to everything in Belfast, lovely staff and really nice hotel room.
Only problem was that we couldn’t get a drink out of the vending machine, slightly expensive bottle of coke at bar instead

Breakfast was nice especially the fresh fruit. Would have liked big pot of tea.

Housekeeping was a bit hit and miss.

Locatie was top, kamers waren netjes en personeel was vriendelijk.
Bad was in principe schoon maar bij de hendels zat roest wat loskwam als je in bad ging. Ik heb het persoonlijk staan boenen.

The room was lovely!
Food for lunch and dinner were not good, especially lunch. No room service was also very strange. More of a lounge than a restaurant

Great 1st impressions but that’s where it ended for us
All money spent in reception area. Room dated. Leisure facilities may as well be closed as needs a massive overhaul

The location was great and the rooms were lovely and cool.
The breakfast wasn’t worth the money
2.5
The bed was incredibly comfortable.
I didn’t like the fact your cleaners didn’t give our room a full clean as requested. It was still dirty when we arrived back in the evening. Was not happy and complained but nothing was done about it.

Customer service was amazing and the food is to die for
Loved every thing
