Nice hotel well located

In general terms everything was good. The breakfast was nice, the staff also kind and the location pretty good!! The rooms are also fine, although the distribution could be better. I'd choose the hotel again in the future

What I didn't like were the showers. I imagine is a general problem of the city, but it was impossible to regulate the temperature constantly. It's changing all the time and I got even burned because of that. Also the check in could be a bit earlier.

Would we stay again??? Yes. Would we recommend?? Yes. Ideal for a couple of nights away.

The Room was very clean and tidy. Breakfast was excellent with lots of choice and plenty to keep you going until lunchtime. Staff were lovely and happy to help. Hotel ideally located close to to seafront and in walking distance to the pier or town. There is a bus stop close by and the local taxi services were good too. Parking is on the road and its hit or miss if you are lucky enough to find a space in front of the hotel.

The decor looked tired and dated throughout, however, if you want posh then you pay more - its a typical lovely little seaside B&B and you get what you pay for. My only gripe (Well there's two to be honest), was that the bed was extremely uncomfortable and would certainly benefit from being replaced or investing in a decent memory foam topper. Secondly, there's lots of stairs (probably an exaggeration, but it felt like loads!!). If you are unfortunate enough to have a room on the top floor, be prepared for a hike...they are not for the faint hearted/extremely elderly/or anyone with mobility issues unless you take them gently.. If you are young and fit, you will be fine :)

Excellent breakfast with a fantastic choice. Comfortable bed and quiet room, so good for a good rest after a long day outdoor. Nick and Esther are always there to advise good places to visit.

Good location. Unable to comment on breakfast as didn't have it.

Owner was in a bad mood upon arrival as multiple people were going to be late arriving due to it being a Friday evening and bad weather. I did however arrive on time

Our best stay in eastbourne

I stay away very often in eastbourne and have stayed in numerous hotels. Both myself and my partner nadine have never felt so welcome as we did staying at the reymar. Nick and all the staff were a breath of fresh air. The room and facilities were perfect and the breakfast was perfect. Thank you so much reymar for a very pleasant stay. We will see you again x

In general was, ok for a one night stay but we stayed two nights in uncomfortable bed...sorry to say

Breakfast, very good, Location good....

Shower /toilet too close to bed, didn't like the design of that..... But worse was the broken bed, it collapsed whilst leaning up on mattress by the head end.... The owner said he would pick a better room if we stayed there again.... I would hope he would do (maybe a Seaview room)

Hard working and caring owner. pleasant enough stay overall.

I really liked nick and his lovely cooked breakfasts. The breakfast area was very relaxed and nice. He was very polite and friendly. The room itself was clean and tidy. It gave generous portions of milk, coffee and water. These things were noticed. Plenty of towels information and good WiFi.

For me the room was small and walls are thin. This is not so much a complaint but can be difficult and not very relaxing. When you have spent you whole day out and just want to chill in your room a little it's not really spacious compared to some hotels or rooms I've stayed in eastbourne. The TV was tiny and gets stuck on the babe station this could be really bad in many situations. I can get over all those things as they are small things but the shower is really the biggest problem waiting 5 min or more at times just for the water to heat up. I really haven't seen this before . Also the common area was closed all the time. Although we didn't want to go there we still noticed it was closed all the time. I don't want to be ungrateful but if these small things can lead to a little change it might make people stays nicer.
