Great hotel with good facilities and excellent breakfast.

Location was perfect, the room really exceeded my expectations and the breakfast was great. The room had nice touches like custom designed duvet and a well stocked tea and coffee tray.

Lovely stay.

It was very nice,the room was very clean all most new,the staff were very welcoming so we're the locals,we had a good stay.we didn't eat there so cannot comment.

Only thing there is no hairdryer,so take your own.

Nice people, good vibe.

Getting back after 9pm on Sat night meant car park was full, so street parking only option. However, having popped into the bar to unwind pub customers departed end of night and able to park up at accommodation before retiring, so no biggy really.

Breakfast was very good although I feel tea and coffee should be included the price of breakfast. You need to book breakfast the evening before. Very good bacon and mushrooms.

A great pub with comfy accommodation at a good price. Blinding breakfast too. Lovely staff/owners.

Clean and comfortable room if a bit small. Friendly welcome but food was a disappointment.

Food was so-so. Plated breakfast had to be ordered the previous evening and was charged on a per item basis - e.g. coffee was separately charged and seemed to be per cup (although we did not ask for refills), toast was on each diner's plate, already buttered etc.

More flexibility on breakfast. If we had not needed to eat we would have not chosen the breakfast arrangement provided. Dinner was OK, but not great - a disappointment as we had read really good reviews on the food which led us to choose this venue over others nearby.

Must do better if they want customers to return

Modern fittings and furniture. Clean and bright. Comfy bed.

Overall a disapointment. Room was small, and lacked many items you would consider standard. No Wi-Fi, No hair dryer, no iron, no welcome pack etc. Stayed for a few days but the waste bin was never emptied, the shower had a body wash but no shampoo, toilet paper cheapest available, it just left an impression that no one realy cared if you enjoyed your stay.

Friendly, very clean and warm with beautiful views

The food was amazing and the owners/ staff were very friendly and helpful, especially when our train was delayed. We were involved in a RTA on our last full day but we were well looked after and extra outside lights were left on for us. They definately went above and beyond for us while we visited our son

cozy little room perfect for a short getaway

friendly staff, big room, comfortable bed, clean bathroom

felt like room hadn’t been dusted of the masses of cobwebs beforehand. no fresh drinking water, just an empty bottle next to the kettle. towels seemed to malt upon touch when wet.
