We had a great time staying at this property over a long weekend. The lakefront location was great, and the house itself was spacious and clean. Communication with the property manager was easy. We would definitely stay here again.

The best part of this property is the location right on the water, with the included kayak, paddle boards, and life jackets. We spent time everyday swimming and playing down on the water. It was a blast! The home was perfectly adequate for our family’s needs, including a good number of bedrooms and bathrooms (it sleeps up to 10). However, the home is not really setup for groups in other ways. Most seating options are for 4-6 people, including the dining area only accommodating 6. The other major downside (and I’m hoping this will be remedied for future guests) is that this home is in major need of a deep clean and maintenance. There was everything from scuffs and carpet stains, to bugs and spiderwebs in the home, and even some broken and very old furniture especially outdoors. These things made our stay less pleasant but also posed some safety hazards, especially traveling with grandparents and young children. I think with some attention this home could return to the owners original intent, but it is in need of attention and we did not feel the value was accurately reflected in the price point.

We really enjoyed out stay at this home. This was a family vacation of all adult kids and their spouses - about 9 of us in total. This home has plenty of space, with multiple gathering areas to spread out and enjoy time together. We would have loved to have a large dining room table for us to enjoy meals together - but there is nothing except the picnic table down by the dock which still isn't big enough. Even if a large outside table on the deck could be added, it would suffice. There are stools around the kitchen counter that seat 6 people snuggly - but we needed more space than that. We LOVED the paddle boards and Kayak although this equipment needs to be updated - one of the paddle boards bends in the middle (maybe needs air?) and the other one doesn't have a fin under the water so it's hard to steer. The kitchen is not well stocked with tools and knives are dull for cooking with, but you can get by. One my favorite parts, which was not expected, were the beds. These mattresses were pillow-top and so comfortable - we all slept so well! Thanks for a great stay.

The property appears to be an investment property not a loved home away from home. Grass was not in very good shape despite the irrigation system. The boat launch on the property is basically unusable due to no good way to get to it. Lots of spider webs inside and out. Dirty windows. Several doors that lead to deck that are key locked or have sign not to use. Both the dock and deck could use some maintenance with rotten and split boards.
The home is functional but compared to other lake norman homes we have stayed at this one just seems unloved. Location was good and kitchens large refrigerator was great.

This home is everything we needed in a vacation house. I’ll do my best to remember all my pros and cons. Pros first, location, parking, lake access. I was a bit hesitant by the pictures of the kitchen island being the only table/eating space, but the island is huge. They had plenty of lake toys/floats and the accessibility to just walk in the water was amazing (just remember your water shoes if you don’t like to touch the bottom). The downstairs is huge and provides all the space needed for the teens/young adults. The stairs leading downstairs could use a hand rail though. One final pro is our shower head came off and maintenance was there within the hour and all things were fixed, i appreciate their timely manner and communication ease. Cons, bring your own pillows if you’re able. never could get basement tv to work (and there are 2 of them). None of the exterior doors in the bedrooms are allowed to be used, can only access back deck from the living room. There could a single larger trash can in maybe the laundry room, there is a cabinet with 2 small trash cans, but we found ourselves taking out the trash at least twice a day because the trash cans were so small. I saw this mentioned in maybe another review but be weary of the chairs on the deck, they lean pretty far back. There is a large heavy blue thing which appeared to be a planter on the deck but when we arrived there was trash in it. I’m out of space but would 100% recommend this home to others.

Our stay was lovely. Inside was clean, slightly older/ used. Could use more seating or table on the deck, with an umbrella. The chairs on the dock are treacherous. They are unstable and if you are older or injured, you probably shouldn’t sit in them. The kayak/sups/ floats were so nice to have. But they were so dirty that we had to clean them. The house had all of the necessities, but not an over abundance. We had pretty of space to store our own supplies, without needing to reorganize first. The house could use more drinking glasses. But does have over 20 coffee mugs! We enjoyed the lake and the house is nice and spacious. We did have one safety concern, which was quickly fixed.
The beds were comfortable. Overall, it was a nice place to stay while we were in NC for our son’s wedding.

This house has plenty of everything. The kitchen had excellent quality pots & pans, serving dishes, utensils, small appliances - everything we needed. The beds were all comfortable, the towels were just right, the furniture was comfortable and in great shape, the basement game room was impressive. The outdoor spaces included the deck, the patio ping pong table (!), the firepit, the picnic tables, the table set on the dock. The water at this location was comfortably deep and clear, with the boat ramp access along with the dock ladder. We had a great time and we hope to come back!

The layout of the house was perfect for 3 families to be comfortable and have fun. The downstairs is perfect for the kids to play while the adults also hangout. The large, flat yard made it easy for kids to run to and from the lake. The house is fully stocked and the kitchen had a ton of cookware for big family meals - could use some basic cooking supplies like a seasoning or two more than salt & pepper, a little oil or vinegar. We will definitely be back!

The house was as expected from the pictures. Loved all the space. The teenage boys had an awesome time spending time in the game room! It was in a nice quiet area with easy access to another areas for whatever you wanted to do.
Although it could have been a little cleaner, we hope to return!

Plenty of room for everyone. We are hang out and game type people. So we made good use of the foosball, pool table, and ping pong tables. Great dock with a patio set so you can sit and watch the ducks.

We very much enjoyed our stay at your lake house and hope to visit again. We couldn't have asked for a better location. There was plenty of room for all of us and we enjoyed time sitting around the fire pit, relaxing on the dock and paddleboarding and kayaking right on the lake.
A few items to share with you- the freezer is still not working but we appreciate you providing the additional freezer for our use. There were 9 adults- a few more towels (kitchen and bath) would have been appreciated. The dishwasher didn't seem to be running a full cycle and not everything came out clean. Also, the towel rack in the hallway bathroom on the main level is very loose.

Rented a pontoon boat and the yellow boat on the end of the building is like a lighthouse beacon showing how to get to the house!

Great Family Reunion
We had a great time. Waterfront was accessible for all ages. Kids had a great time on paddle boards and kayaks and enjoyed pool and ping pong tables. Back deck and dock were fun places for gathering and games and the fishing wasn’t bad either, several good fighting bass and hefty catfish. Nice quiet cove on the lake for the little ones to learn to paddle board. Everyone of our 9 guests said they would like to come back.

Wow. What an amazing time. The house is perfect. Beautiful and clean. It has everything you need on the kitchen and the house is perfect for a family. Lots of things to do and a gorgeous view. Thank you so much we had the best time!!!!!

Family Get Away
Beautiful, relaxing view of Lake Norman from the house. Game tables, kayak, paddle boards, sand area and fire pit provided activities for every age in our family group. Ample supply of kitchen utensils, cookware and appliances. Wonderful spot for a family gathering from around the country.

Great place and great trip
The house is beautiful with lots to do. We went paddle boarding and kayaking every day and played ping pong and billiards. We also enjoyed the fire pit. Our only complaint is that the house paddle boards needed inflated. The realtor delivered a pump but it was not compatible with a paddle board so we had to order a special pump through Amazon and got it delivered overnight. If the house is advertised with paddle boards, they need maintained at the proper air pressure for use.

Great getaway
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this vacation rental. This was our first visit to Lake Norman, and it did not disappoint. The cove was very quiet, and the neighborhood had an excellent location. We cooked at the house most nights, the kitchen was very spacious. All and all we had a great time!

Perfection, conditional.
We had the perfect weather for a great time. The commidations were on the mark. The lake was fantastic along with the views and location. The house is in the middle of construction and some of the safety concerns need attention. Deck stairs and king master tub beware. Construction materials (wood and such) were left by the dock and screws were found on the ground near the water. Over all our vacation was amazing, just a few little things.

We had a wonderful stay at Deep Water. This was such a beautiful home and we had everything we needed to enjoy our time together. We had a blast playing pool and foosball! Our friends all agreed we would try to get the same house again!

Wash away your Worries
This property was perfect for our family from young to old. We kept ourselves busy on the Lake with the kayak and paddleboards or even just to sit on the dock watching the sunset. We spent two of our 3 evenings at the fire pit enjoying the outdoors and the beautiful spring weather. The teens were happy with all of the flat screen TVS to play their video games and then of course work in some pool and foosball. The beds were comfortable and the house was fully equipped with whatever we needed. Everything was clean, most almost brand new, including carpets and linens. This is the perfect place to relax, unwind and let your worries wash away.
