I am so grateful that our group of 45 could stay together in Austin. Everything was super smooth, communications was prompt, Preston was very generous in responding to our many questions and making sure we were all set up with everything we needed. The beds we super comfortable and the neighbourhood is central, with supply shops within walking distance. I highly recommend the Compound for any large group.

The property was exactly as described and accommodated our group perfectly! Preston was very easy to communicate with and took great care is us answering any questions we had. I would recommend this for any larger groups traveling to Austin and we had an amazing time!! Thanks again Preston!

Wonderful property for a weekend getaway with the boys! Size was spot on for 18 gentleman, everyone slept comfortably. Bathrooms were plentiful which was a plus for a large group. Both locations are nicely decorated with great outdoor space. Location is 5 min from Rainey St and 6th St, 10 min from S Congress. We had a blast, would recommend!

Stayed here for a large bachelor party. Both houses were clean, well equipped, and in a perfect location. Preston was easy to work with and we had no issues during our stay.

Perfect for large group, great location.
Generally this place was pretty good. We were a bachelor party of 18 people. Great location, grocery store with delivery nearby, 10 min uber ride to pretty much anywhere we needed to go. Plenty of beds to sleep on which were comfortable. I wish it was warm enough when we were there to utilize the rooftop as it looked like another great area of the house to hang out.
I had two issues though, one minor and one a little more concerning. The minor issue being the lack of cookware. All of the pots and pans were sized more for smaller/individual portions so it was difficult to cook breakfast for 18 people. Recommend providing some additional larger cookware as the house is designed to house larger groups.
The other issue I had was that I received a message from Preston that one of his business partners swung by the house to drop off a monitor and chair. I am not sure why this could not have waited until Sunday afternoon when we had left but I received this message after the partner had come and left. There was no message ahead of time and the partner entered the house without permission while no one was home. Obviously nothing concerning came of this or else the review would be much worse, but the breech of privacy was concerning.
Despite the few concerns, I would consider staying with Preston again.
