The breakfast was superb. Never had a menu for breakfast before. Plenty of choice, all well prepared and served. Spot on. The staff were very good, very helpful, friendly and curious. Location was was idyllic within a quaint village setting next to a river and near the famous sheepwash bridge.
Room facilities ie drinks and condiments were lacking, fitting including coat hook on bathroom door was loose, curtains should have closed on cord but didn’t. Some furniture showed signs of wear. We’ve stopped in similar standards of hotels and accommodation for a lot less.

Everything about our was as perfect as it could be. Exactly what I would expect from a quality English hotel.

The location is so lovely! You are taken back and feels like you are in a different world! The food was amazing. They clearly take pride in their food here! The rooms were super clean! I used to clean 5 Star rooms in college--so I have an eye for this! Rooms were also super cozy with the cutest view of the river! Also, they are the perfect size--and on the bigger side for space. The staff seemed family oriented --super nice and went above and beyond for us! I have never experienced such hospitality.
Absolutely nothing! Everything was perfect.

The food was exceptional and made the stay really memorable. I liked the feather pillows and the fresh cakes waiting in the room on arrival, plus the supply of bottled water in the room. The staff were very friendly and went out of their way to respond to any requests.
There was a bit of mould in the corner of the bath which I was quite shocked to see when we paid such a lot for the room (room 10).

We enjoyed our two day Anniversary Break very much. We didn’t eat Dinner but we enjoyed breakfast very much. There was an exceptional choice and the food was delicious. The whole team were excellent. Everyone made us feel welcome. We would certainly visit again.
Couldn’t fault a thing.

Food & Staff
One Staff accidentally threw out my half full bottle of coke over my chair. I sat on a slightly wet chair for the rest of the evening and paid for another bottle.
EVERYTHING ELSE WAS ABSOLUTELY PERFECT

It was my partners birthday and I only mentioned it as the lady on reception had told us we had been given an upgrade. There was a lovely card at breakfast for him. The staff we very attentive and polite. The service we received was outstanding.
The noise, we could hear the toilet filling up and taps from other rooms and a low humming noise from underneath.
