Our hosts were very responsive to all our requests Te property could not have been more comfortable or convenient . Whenever we visit Buxton, this will be our preferred place to stay. Surely , that could not be a better recommendation.

A lovely little apartment that offers everything you need. It's located right in the city centre in close proximity to the park and some shops. Great to have the private parking spot and the little seating area outside. The furniture and equipment did have a luxurious touch and were in perfect condition so I'd say 'The Luxury Apartment' definitely deserves its name. Great instructions for arrival etc and in general very attentive and caring hosts.
The bed was a little short for us which is due to the size of the bedroom I guess. The bedroom window wouldn't open (was it our fault or is it meant to be that way?) hence the air got a little stuffy during the night.
The kitchen has all the crockery and cutlery you need but not very much of it so either you wash up by hand or run the dishwasher every other day. No big issue though.
The heating played up a few times during our stay though I must say that the impact on our stay wasn't too severe and Garry checked it quickly.
There's a pub around the corner that seems to have its bins and loading area in the backyard, which is right next to the apartment. There's a lot of noise in the morning when they clean up and dispose of the glass, and when the glass and other rubbish get collected. Like...VERY early in the morning! There's nothing the hosts can do about it. Just keep it in mind if you're a little sensitive to noise.
But please don't get me wrong, we absolutely enjoyed our stay!!

The apartment was immaculate and was equipped with everything we required . We enjoyed our stay and would recommend the apartment to our friends 😊

Perfect location and comfortable well appointed flat. Will stay again.
Loved everything. Great host who answers all our questions.

Very good location, clean and fairly comfortable.
Not geared for colder weather, needs windows draught proofing and bigger thicker duvet on the bed. Courtyard needs a make over to be usable all year and give good first impression.

we’ll presented and well furnished
nothing!

Liked everything. This was our third stay and as good as ever.
Some people have complained about the noise of the bells but my partner said she must be going deaf. She would have liked to have heard them so she would know what time it was if she woke up during the night but didn't hear anything!

Excellent location, close to everything but extremely quiet location.

The Flat was lovely, very central and relaxing. Super clean, with all mod cons. It even had a little garden we sat in with our morning coffee.

Lovely clean apartment just the right size for a couple. Kitchen and bathroom very well equipped looked like both were brand new. Decorated well and had everything you needed for eating in. Small courtyard which we sat in early evening , during the day we used to dry our washing. Car space right outside the apartment which was handy. Apartment in a prime position for either end of Buxton, pub stones throw away and restaurants and shops 5min walk away. Folder of information really good everything on how to work items in apartment to recycling. Owners on hand if you needed anything I would recommend this property 100%. Communication was excellent from start to finish and very easy to gain access to the property. Only thing not supplied is towels, but you get told this in a text before your travel date
Takes a day or so to get used to the church clock, but that wouldn't stop us from booking this apartment

Excellent location, very well equipped
Difficulty in entering courtyard gate but this was quickly solved by the host. Bedroom rather small.

Well furnished studio style apartment with separate (cosy!) Bedroom. Great location in the heart of Buxton Close to all the restaurants and shops etc. Ideal base for visiting the Peak District. Parking right outside apartment was great. Lovely shower! Owner easy to contact
WiFi intermittent and didn't extend to bedroom. Was a tad noisy at night and first thing in the morning (delivery lorries, pubs etc). Heating/boiler controls complicated but only needed first thing and at night to take the chill off. Worked them out eventually!

Location very good; all equipment worked well although heating, hob and TV were not easy to operate or understand. But we managed with a bit of common sense.
Communication with owners - non existent, which was disappointing. Only a few packaged goods were left for us and certainly no artisan bread. But again, a very good Sainsbury's nearby, so no real problem.

Very modern, clean and very comfortable, brilliant location with all you need on the doorstep excellent value for money. Will definitely be back.
Nothing at all to dislike

Great location, with free parking, close to town centre. Convenience store close by for essentials. Food and drink options also close by. Great jumping off point for sightseeing in the area.
Bedroom a little small with only a 4'6" mattress not king size. A little noisy at night.

Layout/use of space, lighting & location.
Nothing to dislike

Great location for exploring Buxton and the surrounding areas. Centrally located to all local amenities, and some great restaurants very nearby. The apartment had everything you will need. The bread, butter, jam, milk and tea/coffee were a lovely touch. The owner even left a bar of chocolate, for Valentines 😀
Windows are single glazed (not cold even in February) so if you're a light sleeper, like me, I would suggest packing/buying ear plugs. The old Town Hall clock chimes every hour.

Convenient location, close to everything. Felt secure and great to be able to park. Hosts contactable if any issues.
There were issues with the heating, the flat was baking hot and it came on during the night too. An engineer visited and things improved although it was not resolved on departure. Suspect they need a new thermostat. Hosts did their best to resolve.
We did not find the bed particularly comfortable.

We loved everything
The only thing was the Church bell chiming every hour but there isnt anything anyone can do about that

Loved how modern and stylish the flat was - especially the kitchen. The flat was clean and well equipped and a great location near restaurants and shops and a short walk from the centre of Buxton. The main reception room was really comfortable and spacious and the shower was lovely. The bed was comfy. It was very helpful to be able to park right outside the flat. We were concerned it might be noisy because of the pubs and restaurants close-by. We didn't find any problem with noise and we slept very well.
It was a really lovely flat and the negatives were very minor. The bedroom was a bit small so there wasn't a lot of space to get round the bed. Probably fine if you're slim but a bit awkward if you're large like me! It would be handy to have some kind of bag or bin in the flat for collecting the recycling. Small gripes though! Overall a really enjoyable stay.

Everything and it was an amazing stay. Would recommend to others if you want a cozy private space in peak district. Shops and other amenities are walking distance. Very friendly people around the town and helpful.

Beautiful modern apartment. Excellent facilities and location.
Would definitely day again

The location was very good.
The outside bin has not been emptied for a long time and was overflowing when we arrived. The courtyard was a mess. The cutlery draw was filthy as well as some saucepans. The tv was very complicated to use.
4.5
breakfast was simple, a bonus for room-only. but it was very good to arrive to find essentials provided.
wifi was intermittent, but that seemed to have more to do with talktalk than with the accommodation
4.5
Immaculate apartment, well equipped, spotlessly clean brilliant location 4 mins walk from theatre, gardens etc (though up hill on the way back!). You can park right outside the door.
Wi-fi was a bit unreliable even with ethernet cable. Not particularly easy to find when you first arrive as no name on the gate and one isn't sure what one is looking for. The equipment seems virtually brand new and is quite high tech with lots of digital controls . Whether you see this as a plus or minus probably depends on your age and how much time you want to spend studying the manuals (all provided)!

Breakfast food was supplied gratis because it was not part of the deal. The position is excellent and the apartment very comfortable.
We could not use the microwave or the oven or even the television. We tried to follow directions on the oven and microwave but could not sort them out. We managed to switch on the television but did not get a picture or any sound. The television was the only one we rather missed as it would have been nice at least to get the news but it didn’t matter a lot and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay.
