A good value stay

This property helped me out when I was let down by another booking nearby. The host lives in another property nearby and called round to give me the room key a few minutes after I messaged on the app. He then returned later to leave me a towel as one was not initially left for me. My room was spacious and clean. I gather at least one other room in the property is smaller so maybe request or ask when you book if this could be an issue. There was a shared bathroom, lounge and kitchen which were clean. I was not disturbed during the night. Others reported the front door being unlocked - as of November 2023 you can lock and unlock it with your own key from inside or outside so this was not an issue either. The house is 20-30 yards from the main road in Old Swan suburb near a large supermarket. I would not recommend the walk to Liverpool city centre (3 miles) but regular buses run to and from the city until late at night, £2 each way. I never needed to take a taxi during my stay. The neighbourhood is not exactly a tourist hotspot but I was happy waiting at bus stops and walking to and from the property and it all felt "safe" to me. Overall this was a good value stay in what is normally an expensive city. I'd be happy to return

The radiator was not very warm, only the bottom inch heated up. I did mention soon after I checked in that i couldn't get the radiator warm. Not a big issue when I visited, it is not a cold house, but suggest this could cause discomfort on a very cold winter day.

We slept here once, but will probably never do again unless renting the whole house.

Easy check-in and check-out. Room was clean and well presented. The location was good and easy street parking was available.

It is hit and miss with who the other ocupants are... I was with my family and there was a young person in the room right next to ours and he was listening to loud music pretty much all the time. Stopped at 11pm after asked twice but resumed at 9am Sunday morning!! unless you're renting the whole house there's a risk you end up with one of those.... The bathroom is one shared between 3 double bedrooms and one single. Someone pissed at the door we had to clean the whole Bathroom before letting my kid use it...

Good choice for Liverpool

Clean, and has everything needed well equipped kitchen, clean bathroom, calm area, fastfood nearby with many choices...

Small room but doesn't matter for me, i traveled solo.

Cheap place to stay for night, better than hostel

Cheap, close to city center, bus station 100m from house, pub near house. I left house after 7.00 PM without any issues.

You can't lock front door.

No one to meet us on arrival. No email or instructions as to what room we were to use. No contact number. Bathroom under shower door disgusting.

Nice short stay, excellent experience.

Quick access to the room and good communication from the owner. Room was very clean. Had a Smart TV but it gave me some errors.

For foreign travellers a power strip with USB ports would already really help. I had a travel adapter with me so no issues for me, just a tip

Very clean

The front door does not lock. I had to leave it unlocked while away and slept with it unlocked. I tried to message the host about this several times, but no replies. Also, there is a permanent noise of wind hitting on the doors, if you are not a heavy sleeper this might keep you alert during the night.

Ecellent place to stay

Once the initial delay with check in was sorted everything was great. I was upgraded to a big room. It was quiet and very clean. Facilities were very good and the owner was very helpful and friendly. Only thing to point out so the owner is aware is the shower taps are very stiff and need a lot of strength to adjust or turn on and off.

Nothing..just had to wait too long for check in but the owner was very helpful when he arrived.

Lovely stay and host was brilliant whenever I had an issue, just a shame that the other people in the house were not res

Very modern with lovely kitchen and bathroom and loved the fact there were smart TV’s in every room!

The back door doesn’t lock properly unless you slam it and pull the door while turning the key, The tenants were noisy and screamed in the early hours and kept leaving the front door unlocked so anyone could just walk in

I enjoyed my stay at the property. If I will be in the city next time I will definitely stay here again!

Checkin is well organized and house is equipped with everything you need even for a long stay. Very clean and comfy room.

The only thing was bad and annoying is that the next room door was knocking all the time, maybe because of drafts.

Clean, spacious, well-equipped. Would go back.

Super clean house, great amenities. Very close to restaurants & supermarkets. Very close to bus stop. Water is deliciously warm in the bathroom. Bedroom was very clean and spacious. Neighbors were calm. Netflix also worked great when my schedule was slow.

Just something to be aware of is you have trouble falling or staying asleep with some background noise, one room has a water boiler in it (inside a closet) so it can get quite noisy when it's reheating water. I could've asked for a change but I liked the room's spaciousness and preferred to stay in it and wear earplugs. All in all it was a good experience and I'd go back again.
