About this house rental
This new, luxuriously converted barn is part of Whitehouse Farm, and has all modern amenities. The countryside around here is fantastic for dog walking and for exploring the beautiful town of Bury St. Edmunds. Cambridge and Ipswich are only a short train ride away from the next village. This spot is a beautiful quiet part of Suffolk.
The oak beamed living and dining room is exceptional, with views out over the gardens and surrounding countryside. With large cosy sofa and arm chair to curl up on, plus another sofa that pulls out to create another double bed, this oversized property comfortably sleeps 4 (plus cot if necessary), but is really designed for a great romantic getaway for 2. There are bi-fold doors opening out onto a large patio and garden, whilst the ultra modern kitchen is extremely well equipped with oven, induction hob, extractor, fridge freezer and a dishwasher, as well as toaster and kettle. There is a separate utility room with a washing machine.
The bathroom oozes opulence, with large walk in shower as well as free standing bath. The large bedroom boasts a king size bed, with french doors out onto the garden, with views over the adjacent farmland.
The entire property is on a single level, and has under floor heating throughout to give that extra degree of year round comfort.

Spacious, clean and well equipped property. Very peaceful and plenty of wildlife. Rob is an exceptionally helpful host and for advice on local walks and points of interest. The Maypole in the village of Wetherden is well worth a visit. Elmswell has a good Co-op and Post office. Hope to visit again very soon.

Weekend Retreat
From the moment we booked Rob kept in touch with us the whole time to ensure that our stay would be perfect.
Check in was simple abd the property was imacculate throughout. Its location was spot on and we were able to walk our dogs for hours without setting foot on a road or seeing another person. This property and its location are ideal for a couple to get away and unwind. I would highly recomend this property.
