With seven miles of picturesque sandy shoreline and a chain of inland lakes left behind by a long-ago channel of the Nehalem River, Rockaway Beach is one of the coast's most popular spots for outdoor enthusiasts. Boating, fishing, crabbing, sea kayaking, and sandcastle-building are just a few of the area's star attractions. The heart of downtown is less than a mile south, where you'll find an assortment of casual eateries and cute shops. Don't worry - the grocery store is close by too! Just south of town, photographers flock to the beautiful Twin Rocks for a jaw-dropping image of the sun sinking below the horizon. Other picture-perfect views you may see include; spinning dolphins, feasting seals, crabbing boats, and giant waves - all from your stay.

Spend early mornings strolling on the sand with coffee in hand, then, when hunger strikes, use the sleek, full kitchen to make some breakfast. We took the family to the coast for the week, the house is close to town and steps from the beach. It definitely looks like some shortcuts were taken on the last remodel, but it has everything you need and worked just fine for us.

The couch, beds and layout were great for our family. I would suggest bringing blue rays or dvd's as the wifi connection is hit or miss. Not great if you need to work and need internet access. A few of the lights in the house were out of order in the ceiling including the sole light in the master bathroom. Kitchen was stocked with the basics. If you need any specialty items bring them. Proximity to the beach was fabulous and the area was very quiet.

Excellent, felt right at home. Things were tidy and organized. The couch is super comfy! The beds were pretty good, too! The location is nice because you can walk right down to the beach. The queen rooms are small and if you have 2 people with luggage, it's a pretty tight fit. No dressers to store clothes, so you're living out of your suitcase. WiFi in the area isn't reliable and only intermittently works at the house. The TV would not connect to the WIFI and the signal went in and out on our devices. If you're not needing WiFi for your trip, then I would t sweat it. If you're hoping to telework at all, I would suggest against it. I had to go to town and borrow the library's internet to get anything done.

We enjoyed or stay at the Blue Ocean Bungalow. It's exactly how it looks in the pictures except the fire pit belongs to a neighbor and not for use. Plenty of bedrooms for our group with nice beds. We loved that it's literally steps from a gorgeous beach. It would have been nice to have beach chairs as they weren't provided. Kitchen comes with everything you need. Bathrooms are nice. Very clean upon arrival. The town of Rockaway is a sleepy little town as restaurants closed early. There is only a Dollar General and small market for groceries. Make sure to visit El Trio Loco, Old Oregon Smoke House, and Pronto Pup for great food! Location is great as it's between Cannon Beach and Tillamook.

This little house was very clean! The beds and couch were very comfortable. There were just two of us, so we had plenty of room to spread out. The kitchen is stocked with the basic utensils, but be sure to bring your own seasonings (including salt & pepper), plastic wrap, or any special items you might need. I brought my hand juicer. The house is super close to the beach! Very convenient for those spectacular sunsets & morning walks. The house only has a peek-a-boo view of the ocean & no outside seating. The television is only DVD's (mostly children's movies) and your own subscription services. No basic cable. Since our Netflix subscription would not connect for some reason, we watched an occasional DVD movie at night. Not a major deal, but a little disappointing. Overall, this is a good base of operations house for beach time and sight-seeing. Rockaway is a very relaxing, low-key town, which is just what we needed.

This cottage was perfectly situated, just steps away from a great stretch of beach. The simple, airy interior was clean and comfortable. The listing doesn't give a detailed accounting of the housewares that they provide, so I brought along more than I needed to. They have a completely stocked kitchen, plenty of cookware, dishes, and cutlery. The linens were clean, there are plenty of bath towels and a big basket of beach towels. We absolutely enjoyed our stay here and would definitely stay here again.

Great little place with all new furnishings and a brand new remodel. Great proximity to the ocean. Great price. Place could be perfect w/ a few minor tweaks. Wifi password was wrong and had to be guessed. Beds are ultra firm. Thats pretty much anywhere though. And some curtains for all windows are a must need improvement! Maybe I dont understand beach culture but I prefer to have some privacy at night! All in all not deal breakers. Considering the price and proximity to the ocean you really cant beat this place for the price. We were there in November and many times visting the ocean almost felt like our own private beach. A great place and can definately see us returning. 25 min south to Tillamook, 35 min south to Oceanside, 45 min north to Cannon beach. Rockaway is an awesome location! Great little place to stay for a few nights or a week! Definately worth the price!
