Really great place. Location is right in the middle of everything. 3rd floor upgrade is a gem with library and rooftop patio with view of Dome etc. Everything worked at the hotel/room. Good bed, sizable room. I liked it, a good choice.

Fantastic location, steps away from the Duomo and other sites. The rooftop terrace was amazing—we sat up there for hours, drinking wine and looking out at the Duomo and Florence lit up at night.
Check-in hours are a bit restricted—you need to tell them what time you’ll arrive and you have to carry your luggage up several flights of stairs to reach the lobby. It might be difficult with small children or for people with limited mobility. Also, from other reviews, it seems like there used to be a breakfast and a terrace bar. I think both of those ended post-pandemic. There was coffee and snacks in the lobby though.

Loved our stay here! Great location. Staff was very flexible and helped us extend our room by a day last minute due to our trip plans changing. The rooftop library and view of Duomo were amazing!

This hotel was great for our family of 5 as everyone was able to have their own bed. The AC worked great which was important because it was 104 the days we were in Florence. The place is centrally located and felt safe.

It was my worst stay ever. Arrived at the hotel with my two daughters with 10 and 9 years old plus 4 suitcases and 4 backpacks. It was almost 38 Celsius degrees in Firenze. No reception downstairs. No bell boy. No elevator. We got to the stairs to the 1st floor. My kids starting complaining that the place is not well maintained and they do not want to stay there. We get into the front desk and we were informed that check in is supposed to be at 3pm. I looked into my Expedia reservation and it says it’s 2pm. Maria is able to get us into the room around 2:15pm. The air conditioning is not on and the room is very hot. Ok, we talk to the kids that this is just a matter of time. It’s 1am and the room it’s still hot. We send a message thru app to the management asking for help. No help. We received an answer in the morning that for these matters we should call to an emergency number. We decided to check out immediately as my kids said: this is not vacation. I asked to check out a day before and give back my keys at 9am. The receptionist tells me that I can’t checkout. I ask about the air conditioning that is not working. She says she will call someone to fix it. We decided to go. The elevator is broken. We need to get down by the stairs. We decided to leave not only the hotel, but Firenze. In one word: nightmare!

Great place to stay for the price, excellent location. The building is a little hard to get in if you are carrying big luggage.

The hotel could not have been better located near all the best sites in Florence. Be prepared to walk a lot of steps up to your room but we had a marvelous time.

The staff is very helpful! Room was clean and well taken care of every day. Nice location that is centrally located for popular activities like Uffizi museum and Galleria dell'Accademia and not too far from the train station.

You enter an old building with multiple businesses and take steps and then an elevator to a second floor where you go through doors to a reception. The room is basic but very clean with a great shower. The location can’t be beat.

There are a few flights of stairs that you will have to climb to get to the hotel, but other than that this place is awesome little gem in the very center of Florence. Also, the staff is very attentive and helpful. I would definitely recommend it.

Classified as a hotel but it was more of an apartment room. No elevator to the ground floor, only from the first floor to the second. We travelled with an elderly couple who struggled with their luggage. There was no lobby nor bar facilities. The real benefit was its location. Very central and convenient. Ricardo and Barbara were wonderful and their support and service softened the effect of the lack of facilities. Hotels.com didn’t give enough information on the website to forewarn us of the shortcomings.
