Charming boutique hotel in a great location suited for a relaxed vacation traveler with patience

Cozy and charming boutique hotel. Well located, close to center but still in a relatively quiet area. Wellness center is decent and breakfast buffet is nice. Overall charming.

Staff at the reception, wellness center & breakfast were on the slower end dealing with other customers or sometimes not available - not a business hotel. Small quirks in hotel room with plumbing (toilet flush and shower water pressure / temperature).

Some parts good, others not so good

The bed was comfortable. The hotel itself was in good condition generally. The garden was lovely. Spa facilities good.

Booked a superior room which was expensive - we were given a disabled room. We were not informed this was going to be a disabled room. Had we known we would have booked elsewhere. The toilet was too high, feet didn't even touch the floor, basin was too low, shower leaked due to having double doors, floor was drenched in water after shower to the point where it was scary - could easily have fallen flat on our backs. Hooks for dressing gowns were hanging off the wall. Electrical sockets were damaged and we could not insert plugs. The room had the public toilets on one side, making it noisy at night time, the back of the bathroom wall had the kitchen behind it - again noisy, therefore noise late at night and early in the morning with trolleys going back and forth. Also noise in the garden was bad until beyond 1.00a.m. Considering the hotel was described as an oasis of peace following a day in the city, well it certainly wasn't.

Peaceful oasis

so clean, the breakfast was delicious and the atmosphere was so peaceful after a hectic day out in Florence it was lovely to come back to the calm! gorgeous gardens too.

Having to book to use the pool and having allocated time slots. This wasn’t mentioned on the booking and I didn’t see the other comments in the reviews until it was too late. May have chosen a different hotel with normal access to the pool if I had known as that was the key reason why we chose the hotel for the pool access being in the height of summer!

Fijn hotel

De kamer was ruim en licht. De tuin is leuk om ‘s avonds even in te zitten. Het was ongeveer 12 minuten lopen naar de Duomo, prima te doen.

Wij hadden dit hotel geboekt, omdat er ook een zwembad bij zit. Maar niet bij alle kamers heb je toegang tot het zwembad. Het is ook meer bedoeld als spa denk ik. Wij vonden het overigens niet erg dat het er toch niet bij zat.

Not worth the money and definitely not up to the 4-star standard

Location was okay

Cleanliness definitely a concern. Had multiple dirty towels throughout our stay. Breakfast was also bare minimal, very limited choices with bland taste, frequently running out of supply and had to wait for long time to refill.

L’ubicazione, comoda sia per raggiungere a piedi la stazione dei treni che il centro. Il silenzio, perché è una location appartata. Il giardino interno, molto ben curato. La gentilezza dello staff. L’ampiezza e pulizia di camera e bagno. L’albergo è nuovo o almeno ristrutturato di recente

Trovo che il prezzo sia un po’ alto, considerando l’ubicazione dell’albergo dalle finestre delle cui camere quindi non hai vista su Firenze. Avrei dato un voto ancora migliore se il rapporto qualità/prezzo fosse stato un po’ più equilibrato

A memorable stay at a beautiful hotel!

This was a beautiful hotel with an amazing courtyard and pool, which my daughter spent several hours in! :D The staff were incredibly friendly and went our of their way to make us feel welcome. The room was quiet and comfortable and the bathroom was full of amenities. Breakfast was delicious and consisted of many different items. We also loved meeting the cat "Poolie" (?) and watching him dart around the property. Such a great stay!

I can't think of a thing, it was all so wonderful!

A very good hotel in a good location for getting around the city sights. I would reccommend.

The room was a very good size with three quarter sized beds - it was also very clean and quiet. The spa was a real treat at the end of an afternoon's sight-seeing. The breakfast was very good with plenty of choice. The staff were very friendly and helpful.

Dinner - the half board option was not very tasty. We opted to go out for dinner on the last night.

We stayed in Florence for a week leading up to Easter.

The staff of the hotel are very professional and welcoming on arrival. The hotel itself is beautiful and is situated in a perfect location to walk into the heart of Florence and still be far enough away to relax. The rooms themselves are nice and comfortable.

Always a delight, will be back.

Second stay at this hotel, first was for our honeymoon and this was for my birthday. Staff are incredibly friendly and attentive, facilities are wonderful and it’s very peaceful.

Staff were exceptional, great breakfast. Great location and nice spa facilities.

Window frame around toilet was a bit weird, mostly frosted but sliver of clear glass and can see a little of bathroom if you are sitting on the bed. Minor issue but could be a bit odd for some people.
