The area and the view. The hotel itself was amazing and the stuff was perfect. It was very quite this is what I needed the most.
Everything is fine

Fabulous hotel with beautiful gardens and surroundings. Romantic drinks on the terrace in the evening. Fantastic free breakfast and service all round! The on demand shuttle bus was incredible too and dropped you within walking distance of the Florence centre. Perfect!
No milk or tea spoon to make tea in the room; a must for Brits! But easily rectified.
The WiFi was poor and is unsecured, which is not good in 2023. Adding a password and boosting signal would easily resolve.

The breakfast buffet was fantastic with many options. Having the ability to take a shuttle to the city without having the hassle of driving our car was an extra bonus. Our room was well appointed with a beautiful view of the gardens. The entire staff was very friendly and accommodating.

Location, general vibe, staff were amazing and its 8 acres of gardens
Breakfast with a view ❤️
Phone reception was a challenge but that is due to the Villa being a 15th century vila and thick walls

The property was so beautiful, it had the Tuscan vibe. The breakfast was excellent, the staff amazing, very polite always eager to help. So far on our stay in Europe, this has been on our top list.
They offer a free shuttle as well, which brings you to two different points, this was very helpful.

Loved location and shuttle to Florence city. Bit far to walk from drop off point.
Gardens are amazing with outside seating.
The bed. Complained and got a mattress topper which helped a bit.

Beautiful Villa, with wonderful gardens to walk in the morning relaxing by the terrace.
Location is Perfect if you like to visit Ponte Vecchio and wineries . Shuttle will take to greeting points they already have, and returning just call the villa concierge.
food is great quality!
Gardens, renaissances furniture, the View from the rooms is Exquisite!
lovely Villa.
the Elevator is an antique, and very small.

Villa Agape made my dream come true of a return to Florence. As the taxi climbed the hill, we saw the Cathedral Dome and city below. Outside the Renaissance villa, twin Marzocco Lions guard the gate, the symbol of Florence.
Inside was a warm welcome from Lucca, Loris, and Cassandra at Reception, who helped me arrange tours and went above and beyond to meet all my room requests. Need a luggage stand for your clamshell suitcase? Just ask! Alessio and Ambo, who drive the complimentary hotel shuttle to town and back each day, were very friendly and helpful (5-10 minutes drive, depends on traffic.) And I’m grateful to Walter and Mario who answered my questions by email before arrival.
Built in the 1460s, Villa Agape was a private home and a convent over the centuries. In the 1950s the Duchess d'Aosta put in extensive gardens, and in 2014 it was renovated as a hotel. I loved my little Superior Single room with its beautiful view of the garden.
The gardens are gorgeous. Even after walking 5-7 hours around Florence, on return each evening I had to stroll the gardens.
The included breakfast was great: a full buffet of eggs, all kinds of bread, fruits, pastries and extras like roast mushrooms. Dinner is excellent; make reservations, people coming up from town just to dine here.
Right off the dining room is the Duchess Garden, a lovely green lawn for meals if weather permits. There’s even a Wine Dispenser machine in the small fireside lounge off the lobby. Reception gives you a 50-Euro wine card to use in the machine anytime, 24x7, and paid for at checkout. I didn't want to check out!
The pretty 18th century furniture in most rooms is mostly attached to the walls, old style -- so many rooms lack the surface area for a computer and modern gadgets. But there’s a computer, desk and banquet table to work at in the large Fireplace Room on the first floor.

It was beautiful. The hotel asp offered shuttle rides to the city, cutting down on taxi costs during our stay.

Staff were very friendly and helpful
Free shuttle bus to and from the hotel to the outskirts of Florence was very handy
Great breakfast
Beautiful Gardens and views
The traffic, whilst infrequent, could be noisy. I think because of where the hotel is situated it amplifies the sound of the cars. Property is huge though, so not likely to affect many rooms.

I can't think of anything.

Villa and gardens are stunning with great reviews

Walls were thin, could clearly hear the room next door
Drinks were on the pricier side in Florence

The location and the hotel were spectacular. The location was ideal for us as it was close to the city but away from the business of it. The staff were very friendly too. We ate at the resultant and the food was great, as was the breakfast :)

Couldn’t fault it !

Beautiful gardens, good shuttle service, friendly staff, and a very solid on property restaurant.
Rooms a very tiny and the walls are a bit thin. Not a super walkable area so plan for the shuttle if visiting the city (which was great).

The location is amazing if you want to be far away from tourist traps and city noise. On top of that, you can sense deep history and enjoy every single detail of the place.
We booked a superior double room but got a free upgrade to a junior suite.
Also, a big thanks to the reception team, they explained everything and made sure we had a great time.
The breakfast could have more fiber rich vegetables and better coffee. Unfortunately, the coffee was not drinkable.
