Enjoyable night on the lovely island of Gigha.

amazing island that didn’t disappoint

very comfy bed spacious open planned living area candles. well equipped kitchen.

lovely location and a short walk to the beach but the description says on beach front so a little disappointed.

Amazing

Incredibly tastefully decorated house with everything you could ask for provided. A fantastic property in a beautiful setting on an amazing island full of lovely people…and a host that goes well above and beyond.

Will definitely be returning! Beautiful cottage and location

You felt so welcomed as it felt like home. Neighbour and her 2 dogs we’re lovely! The cottage was beautiful and clean! Cottage was so central to anywhere you wanted to go. There is a beautiful quiet beach just near to the property (through the bushes) So quiet and peaceful

Cosy, peaceful getaway that will leave you feeling relaxed

The cottage was cosy with a plentiful supply of logs for the burner. The property was clean and well equipped. The beds were exceptionally comfortable with plenty of additional blankets if needed.

There was nothing not to like :)

Not only a great base to use while exploring the island but a great cottage to hide out in.

The cottage was in good condition and felt very comfortable and not overly delicate. The garden is a great touch and we can imagine being sat out on a summers evening in the complete darkness Gigha offers at night. For us, the fire in the living room and beds were the stand out features. The beds are genuinely the most comfortable we have found anywhere in Scotland. What a great nights sleep.

Not much really. We were travelling in February so expected it to be very cold. Fortunately the cottage warms up quickly with the fire. The dogs next door are a bit of a worry as they appeared quite aggressive towards our Boxers however, we were assured by some islanders we met the dogs are well natured and we noticed the owner was immediately attentive any time they barked at us,

Lovely cottage, perfect location

Lovely cottage, perfect for our needs. Had everything we needed. Beds were comfy. Wood burner worked overtime to keep the cottage warm and cosy

The weather!! And the Boathouse restaurant and hotel were closed during the off season

Comfy, peaceful, cozy: Gigha is a wee piece of heaven

This house is the perfect getaway. Super clean and comfy beds, lovely welcoming wood burner and so peaceful. Smashing new power shower. The house is minutes from the stunning white sandy beach. Gigha really is beautiful and beach view is the perfect place to relax and feel at home while you are there.

Cupboards in the kitchen need fixed but doesn’t spoil the stay

great getaway

fantastic location, cosy, comfortable beds, felt like being away from it all. host very helpful. good amenities. good value for money

visited out of season and just wanted a couple of days away from it all as they say, but perhaps a more comprehensive guide in the property ref the lock for the wood, shop amenities etc etc. and a little TLC on presentation. local shop is good btw, and bring cash incase the island WiFi is playing up! only being slightly critical with regards to improvements, overall really loved it.

i cant wait to return. The property has just been renovated, lovely and fresh. Big walk in shower

i loved this location. Quite, yet in the heart of the island. Great view and the beach was within 2 mins from the house. The house has just been renovated, lovely big walk in shower. Very fresh and clean with super comfortable bedrooms. Love the large wood burner and unlimited wood supply.....verry genourous of the owner . The house is very comfortable . Well stocked kitchen

Wonderful few days

Fabulous cottage in a great location. Really helpful hosts, lovely cottage with incredibly domfortable beds. Would recommend to anybody and we will rerurn.

It exceeded everything we thought it would. The owners have thought of absolutely everything.

The cottage was beautiful exactly what we wanted. It was so peaceful. The rooms were lovely with beautiful furnishings the beds were so cosy. Everything was so clean and there were plenty towels in the shower room. We loved the fire there was everything in the kitchen. There were toys for the kids. We loved our walks to the beach. The hotel is only minutes away and the meal was excellent nothing we could fault in fact we had lunch and dinner there. The wee shop was well stocked. The ferry was great.

Lovely, will be back as soon as we can.

The location was perfect. Well equipped house, comfortable bed and sofa's... I liked having a bath (not just shower). Very quiet, and fabulous view from the back of the house.

The living area carpet needs attention... and maybe a fan heater for the bathroom. Garden furniture is a must have.
