We celebrated my husbands 50th with his sisters and their husbands. The house has an amazing view! The house/living area wasn’t air conditioned but had a breeze with the doors and windows open. Bedrooms were comfortable with a private AC unit. Aaron and Robyn are great with answering any questions. We will definitely be back again!!!

Den and kitchen not air conditioned. I understand that is common in St John but humidity and heat was very uncomfortable most of the time. Power outages occurred during our stay for most of the week. Managers did their best to use backup solar to help. We turned off ac when we were out to conserve. Even with ac on at night could not cool bedroom below 76.

What an absolutely perfect place to stay! Not only is the Villa itself gorgeous and functional but the view is beyond stunning. There was an island wide blackout for our first 2 days and the solar panels and Tesla walls kept everything running perfectly, and the property managers were in touch with us the entire time keeping us updated. We didn't even notice because we were out enjoying the island, and when we were at the villa we were just caught up in the stunning view and beautiful pool. We will absolutely be renting Villa Capiz again when we take our next trip to the island!

Villa Capiz is a wonderful, tropical paradise with incredible views of St. Thomas and the sunsets. Robin/Aaron, our hosts, were outstanding as they communicated with us prior to our arrival and were very helpful from start to finish. Aaron met us at the ferry dock in Cruz Bay, took us to the jeep rental place, took our luggage to the villa and gave us a detailed overview of everything regarding the villa. The villa is extremely nice, has a large, refreshing pool and the kitchen is fully stocked. It is located in a quiet neighborhood with easy access to the restaurants and beaches. The beach chairs, towels and cooler were much appreciated and an added bonus. The only con which prevented this from being a 5 star rating is the two king size beds in the lower rooms. One mattress is okay and fairly comfortable to sleep on, but the other one sags badly in the middle and needs replacing. Our friends could not sleep on it and moved to the smaller room upstairs with a Queen bed after the first night. The birds in the trees are also pretty loud all night, but I put a fan on high by the bed to drown out the noise. Overall, Villa Capiz is a beautiful place which we truly enjoyed, but we would likely not stay there again unless the mattresses on the two K/S beds are replaced.

We had a great time at this home. We ended up switching locations, then also had to extend our stay due to traveling issues. The property managers and owners were absolutely amazing and accommodating. The house was super clean and in amazing condition. The house has a very cool design and decorations and the view and pool area are amazing. We would definitely stay here again.

Villa Capiz was just as advertised. The house and grounds are beautiful. The location was perfect...10 minutes from all restaurants and shopping. The beach chairs and coolers were appreciated too. Robyn was flexible to meet us earlier when our travel plans changed and responsive with any questions. We will stay here again on our next visit to St. John. Thank you!

Breathtaking views from this gorgeous home on St. John. Perfect for a family or several couples, 3 well appointed bedrooms. Cooked breakfast every day in the gourmet kitchen and made use of the pristine grill with a sunset view of St. Thomas to the west. Very large pool for the island plus a hot tub that was great in the evening. Nicely appointed home with landscaping that made it feel like a private oasis. It will be difficult to return to St. John and not stay at Villa Capiz.

I don’t even know where to begin. Villa Capiz is a gorgeous home. The views are breathtaking! I honestly saw the most beautiful sunset of my life one evening. The house has so many beautiful touches. The pool is wonderful. The kitchen is fully stocked. We cooked the entire stay and never lacked any type of utensil, serving bowl, pot, etc. we also used the grill one evening. Lauren and Tori were available for all of our questions. We will definitely be returning to this special place. Thank you for sharing your home.

Absolutely beautiful, the hilltop view is breathtaking. Had everything we needed for our day to day living, did not do any cooking, so can’t address that, but many options for dining nearby. An added bonus was the beach chairs, beach towels and coolers, used them daily. You feel isolated because of all the foliage around, but there actually houses all around, not a bad thing because everyone is quiet and respectful. Loved the pool and the many options for outdoor seating, upstairs and downstairs. The only thing that gave us a problem was the area immediately adjacent to the entrance was gravel and difficult to turn vehicles around, but otherwise an awesome property and would not hesitate to stay there again!

This property is every bit as advertised. This villa delivers great sunset views and views of St Thomas. It's convenient to Cruz Bay and every other beach on this end of the island. The Villa is well stocked with beach chairs, toys, coolers and more to save you the hassle of bringing or buying.
A special thanks to Tori and Keelan who are the best hosts on the island! They very kindly had our place fully stocked and saved us a trip to the grocery store so we could arrive and grill the first night in. Thank you!

We had a wonderful week at Villa Capiz. The house met all our needs for a week get-away with our three adult children. Great to come back from day excursions exploring the island to jumping in the pool and cooking nice dinners together while enjoying gorgeous sunsets. Beautiful home.

Everything was excellent-contact people, location, space., etc. The beds were uneven/lumpy and there was no tv in the master bedroom. That would be my only criticism. Thanks for a great vacation.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay during the week of July 3rd, 2021! Congrats to the owners on a stunning rebuild after the devastating 2017 hurricane season. In this beautiful villa, the sunsets were amazing and the local wildlife (pesky birds, loud roosters, and one feral Siamese cat) kept us entertained. Pack earplugs if roosters aren't your thing:)
We have been coming to SJ since 1999 and boy has it gotten busy, probably a lot of it due to pent-up Covid feelings. If you want to find a parking spot at the beach, you need to leave by 8:30 am!!! We made this mistake the first day and it took forever for our 2 cars to squeeze onto the side of the road at Hawksnest. Once we figured that out, we were out early and back by the afternoon to enjoy the pool and sunset views with dinner on the deck.
The pool floats and beach toys provided were fun and we also appreciated the leftover sunscreen. We DID run out of water by the end of the week. I think a sensor that tells you when the cistern is running low would be a good idea (we saw an advertisement for them in St. Thomas).
Hopefully, the owners invest in a patio table the is NOT glass. One afternoon the current one (which is no mas) took one big gust of wind and shattered. Luckily, we were all upstairs making lunch when it happened, so no one was hurt. The cushions from the chairs of that patio set could use new coverings too.
Peter and Gail were very helpful with any questions about the property and the Island. We rented boats from Ocean Runners and had a great time seeing SJ from the water.
We were so happy with our stay there and can't wait to come back soon!!

The Villa Capiz was even better than the pictures. The view was incredible - best on the island. Loved the location near Cruz Bay with ease to drive down and enjoy happy hour! The beaches are incredible. We loved to use the hot tub and pool at the house. The beds were comfortable and plenty of places to sit and relax and spread out. The house had a lot of privacy. The property manager, Peter, was extremely responsive and helpful. We had a wonderful visit and hope to return someday! Soon!

Glorious!
Villa Capiz is wonderful. Peter was very thorough with instructions and ensuring we were settled in properly. Stunning views, lovely furnishings, complete kitchen. The pool was really nice with the fountain. Didnt use the hot tub since the outside temps were into 90s some days.
The driveway gate takes getting used to but no big deal. You can turn around at the bottom, which we recommend as departing the driveway is on a blind turn. It’s a quick ride to town. We preferred to come via the route past the Westin, stopping at the less crowded SJ market on the left for provisions. This is faster route but much much steeper with sharp steep corners, use your horn! We have lived on SJ so we are used to it.
Bedrooms were comfy, downstairs beds are softer due to memory foam tops. The modern beach towels were really great..ordered a few when we got home.
Overall we did not want to leave. Would love to stay again.

The house is actually nicer than in the photos. There is nice space, especially outdoors and the beds are reasonably comfortable. The pool, hot tub and deck area are very nice. The downstairs bedrooms are nicer than upstairs. There is a lot of nice outdoor seating and a lovely view. There’s one bedroom upstairs and two downstairs—you need to walk outside to get to the downstairs bedrooms which are totally separate and is a bit of a drag in the rain and could be a problem for a family with little kids or wayward teenagers. We were there with our adult children so no trouble
The location is farther from town than it appears on a map, about a 12-15 minutes drive. It’s more to the beaches, 20-25 depending on where you go. We felt the location was not ideal
The house runs on solar power and rain water. Kudos to the owners for doing this. I don’t remember when I booked before paying in full getting all of the information about not using water if there’s a power outage (some others have generators but villa cruz doesn’t). Also the ad says there’s a washer and dryer but they ask you not to use it (and the dryer didn’t work anyway). We also received information about minimizing use of the oven, etc. This would not have deterred me from booking but It didn’t feel quite transparent

Villa Capiz is everything it is described to be and more. From the beautiful pool with cascading fountain, to the spectacular lighting, the well appointed kitchen and the huge showers, there was everything we could want.

It was Less than 10 minutes from downtown Cruz bay, providing an easy drive while far enough way to enjoy the peaceful tree frogs and birds every night! The sunsets were beautiful and the pool provided a nice getaway from the heat! Thanks to Deb for working with us in changing our original dates due to covid .
