Una conexión con la naturaleza para una total desconexión.

Pues el entorno, la tranquilidad y la familiaridad. Ha sido como estar en contacto total con la naturaleza con una construcción que respeta totalmente el medio donde está. Eres uno más en la jungla. Ves a los monos los escuchas al amanecer es una pasada!!

Especially nice when low vacancy

Nice jungle location. Good management onsite. Shared kitchen large and all conveniences but cooktop and oven. Nice oil but tiny.

Rooms too small for comfort. Beach nearby but no real access. Resort too small when full as pool very small and spaces around it.

Quiet relax except for however monkeys who we enjoyed to hear

Very small room and pool area made it uncomfortable especially when facility was full. Beach nearby but no access except we met a property owner who let us pas through. Local restaurant does not appreciate walk through. Manager very helpful with private cab etc. Shared kitchen area nice and also large. No stove though. Nice Jungle space around facility. Very steep hill to navigate to property especially if walking. No siding on highway to walk safely. Was offered upgrade but no air conditioning in those rooms.

Toilet are very tight as is rest of bath and shower. No shampoo or soap.

Paz y descanso en la naturaleza

Es un hotel pequeño para relax ubicado en medio de la naturaleza su piscina es super para descansar y relajarse, cuenta con cocina compartida muy bien equipada y excelente aseo El escenario perfecto para fotos de viajero, ubicado muy cerca de playa Arcos simplemente hermosa. Excelente atención de la persona encargada.

De preferecia ir en carro alto.

Parfait.

Le cadre était vraiment très beau et nous avons eu droit à un bal de toucans juste au dessus de nous. La cuisine à disposition est très propre et bien équipée. La piscine est fort appréciable.

Nette Unterkunft mit sehr hilfsbereitem Personal

Wir wurden super freundlich und herzlich empfangen! Die Bilder in Booking.com sind schon etwas älter, vermitteln aber einen guten Eindruck von den Zimmern, von denen vor allem die oberen mit der Galerie davor wirklich schön sind. Leider haben diese Zimmer keine "Fenster", im Sinne von Glasscheiben. Die Fenster und die Türen sind aus Gittermetall, das sehr zum Charme der Zimmer beiträgt und mit Fliegennetzen versehen ist, trotzdem waren wir zuerst irritiert und uns nicht sicher, ob wir so ohne Klimaanlage werden schlafen können. Da wir bei Ankunft die einzigen Gäste waren, wurde uns angeboten das Zimmer zu wechseln und eines der unteren Zimmer (Ergeschoss) zu beziehen (Zimmer mit Hochbett, wie in den Bildern bei Booking zu sehen). Am Ende haben wir es doch für eine Nacht im gebuchten Zimmer versucht, da das Himmelbett und die Aussicht einfach schöner waren und wir haben es nicht bereut. Das Bett war super bequem, das Zimmer mit einem Kühlschrank und einer Kaffeemaschine ausgestattet. Alles, auch das Bad war sehr sauber die Dusche warm und die Klimaanlage haben wir nicht eine Nacht vermisst, da durch die offenen Gitter die Luft sehr gut zirkulieren kann, es wurde über Nacht eher recht frisch als zu warm :) Für warme Nächte steht zusätzlich ein Ventialtor bereit. Die Gemeinschaftsküche ist gut ausgestattet und wir haben sie jeden Morgen genutzt. Der Pool und die kleine Anlage darum ist sehr gepflegt und bietet einen netten Komfort und die Galerie vor den oberen Zimmern ist ein schöner Platz für ein Feierabendbierchen und die ein oder andere Zigarette :) Da wir am letzten Abend unsere Drohne verloren hatten, waren wir gezwungen eine Nacht zu verlängern (um bei Tageslicht die Drohne zu suchen), dies war unkompliziert machbar und wir haben die Zusatznacht etwas günstiger bekommen, wofür wir sehr dankbar sind.

"Nicht gefallen" trifft es nicht ganz, wenn wir folgende Punkte erwähnen, denn nichts davon ist wirklich gravierend und gibt somit keinen Grund zur Beschwerde, aber wir möchten es erwähnt haben: Die oberen Zimmer sind trotz der Fliegengitter vor den Fenstern und der Tür nicht vollkommen gegen Insekten und Mosquitos abgeschirmt, da ein ca. 5 cm breiter Spalt zwischen den Wänden und Decken vorhanden ist. Uns hat dies nicht gestört und wir hatten nicht ein Mosquito im Zimmer (von dem wir wüsssten ;)), aber ggf. ist dies für andere Reisende wichtig. Weiterhin bedeutet dies auch, dass man "Geräusche" nicht aussperren kann. Da das Hotel etwas oberhalb des Playa Ballena liegt hört man somit nachts auch die LKWs von der Landstraße, aber auch das Meerrauschen. Durch die erhöhte Lage ist die Auffahrt zum Hotel recht steil, jedoch ohne 4x4 machbar und bietet natürlich einen schönen Blick. Die Bilder bei Booking vermitteln - wie erwähnt - einen guten Eindruck, aber die Unterkunft ist schon etwas älter, da bleibt die ein oder andere Macke an den Möbeln etc. nicht aus. Aber sind wir ehrlich, das ist für Reisende (wie uns) nicht neu ;)

Very average and not good value for money.

The lady overseeing the property was very nice and helpful. The pool area was nice.

We didn't expect to have to buy our own food and make our own meals. It was more like a hostel than a hotel We didn't have a car and taking taxis to and from the hotel was not easy and expensive. Also for the price we paid we expected a better room, the bunk bed railing was broken and the AC stopped working in the middle of the night. The property is strangely designed blocking the ocean view and sunset.

this is my second time I stayed in this beautiful place. And I'll keep coming for the following visits to the area. The bedrooms are comfortable, tidy, small bathroom are but it's all you need. It has shared Kitchen area, with fridge, microwave, anything to cook and make coffee. The staff is beyond helpful, made us feel at home. Pool is refreshing, and you can see and hear monkeys around. Also the sunsets are beautiful. love this spot

Over all this was a TERRIBLE experience and we will not be staying there ever again.

Staff was friendly and accommodating. Gretel was vwry attentive and sweet.

This place is nothing like what’s shown in the photos. There is no AC where the weather is HOT! They have a cat on premises who relieves itself anywhere and when the sun heats up the excrements the smell is foul!! If you’re not in love with bugs stay away from this place. The doors and windows are open-concept and they have been replaced with just screens with huge holes which defeats the purpose of a screen at all. There is a lobster infestation in that place! Those things measure about 10-12 inches and fly around and land on anyone and anything. It is very unpleasant! The kitchen and common eating area is shared, therefore renters have to “agree” on a breakfast time for their party. We agreed on 7-8am but someone walked straight in at 7:30 and took the only coffee pour-over frame for themselves while we were in the process of boiling water to make more coffee. So much for a time agreement! When we checked in we checked all 4 rooms to find dirty sheets. The rooms are tiny with no space on the floor to open your luggage and although most pictures show a California king size bed believe me when I say you will get a bunkbed no matter what. There is a total of about two outlets in the room. The shower and toilet are separate from each other in the space in each one is so small if you have a long legs you will not be able to close the door to use the restroom. There is one medium size stand-up fan and a small one that clips to the top bunk bed. With 85-90° wether it is almost impossible to make that work. Around 9 PM the hotel attendant came up from her house that’s down the hill and told us other tenants were complaining about us speaking in loud voices. booking description says “all children are welcome” but when children are playing in the pool and it’s a problem to other tenants you get told to quiet them down. We paid for 2 nights and ended up staying 1 and finding a different place to stay for the other night.
